2nd time cruiser. Went January 2015 on the Epic. Was a little worried that the Jade would be too small compared to the Epic, but it was fine. Quick thoughts:

All in all a great trip. Would have been perfect if we had good weather. But NCL has no control over Mother Nature.

To start with the good- the show "cripton" was excellent. He is an illusionist and performed some great illusions. His show as well as the acrobatic team were entertaining. Disemarkation-we had an excellent fellow who helped my mom in a wheelchair for getting off the ship. She had difficulty getting to the actual meeting place for that service but was helped once she got there.

Our cruise was for a family reunion of 15 people and the Houston port was central for all family members traveling across the country.
The crew is excellent - very helpful and thoughtful service. Our cabin steward was great, he made the bed while we were out, brought us towels when we needed extras and turned down the bed while we were out.
