Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Caribbean Princess

We got a brochure that had an excellent price and a time frame we liked. We also liked that we could fly to Houston non-stop. The tips were paid by Carnival so that was another selling point for us. We also have wanted to see Paris and this was on the itinerary. The shore excursions that we went on were wonderful. The train ride from Hamburg to Berlin was excellent. The restaurant where we ...

This was our first Princess cruise and my 3 rd total. This will definitely not be our last Princess cruise as we were totally wow'd by the wonderful service, the great dining and the entertainment. Embarkation couldn't have been easier. My husband and I dropped our bags with the porter, he parked across the street in front and we were on the ship in 15 minutes. We found our stateroom ...

Better than expected - but not for the disabled.

We last cruised with RCCL in 2011 - a 9-night European cruise from Norway to France, Ireland, England, Scotland and back to Norway. In the intervening years we took three Disney cruises to Hawai'i, Western Caribbean and Alaska. Quite frankly, based on our 2011 RCCL cruise, we weren't expecting things to be better than Disney. Were we surprised. Five years later RCCL had really improved their ships ...

Great Cruise!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Caribbean Princess

Our daughter in law drove us to the terminal and there was a short wait for someone to assist my husband in a wheelchair. Our room was ready when we got onboard so we dropped off our 'stuff' and headed to the dining room for a very nice lunch. We were on the Caribbean Princess in October from Quebec to Houston. The cabin we had this time was next door to the one we had in October so we had the ...

We booked the March 6, 2016 Eastern Caribbean cruise to accommodate a family member's vacation. We flew to Houston one day before and settled in a hotel near Clear Lake, 15 minutes away from the Houston Bayport Cruise Terminal. We took a taxi to the terminal and were onboard in 15 minutes after arriving at the terminal. There were lots of staff working and boarding was very efficient. The ship is ...

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Caribbean Princess

Choose this cruise for the ports of call. Houston was not the best port and I believe they are no longer going to use it. We came in early due to the weather. Embarkation went smoothly as did disembarkation. Though the ship was showing a bit of its age it was clean and well cared for. Our cabin seemed a bit small but very functional and ( you really got to love the Love Boat series, that ...

We booked this cruise about 8 weeks before sailing to get away from the rainy Pacific Northwest and once again Princess delivered a great holiday. We got lucky and did not have to deal with fog or high winds in the Houston port area so our embarkation and disembarkation went like clockwork. Princess gets high grades for overall service from the friendly crew, excellent dining, and superb ...

Great Trip for our 45th Anniversary!

We can't say enough good things about this cruise on the Caribbean Princess! All of the crew were genuinely happy to help if we had questions (where to find Coral Dining Room, for example). Embarkation was a breeze, compared to other cruise lines we've sailed with in the past. We had an assigned time to check in at the terminal, and once checked in we received a group number - when that ...

Princess Delivers Service and Value

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Caribbean Princess

We are sophisticated, educated world travelers, accustomed to 5 star accommodations, yet keep coming back to Princess because of its overall excellence, traditions and summer camp spirit, comfort, excursion choices, good food and wine. What a VALUE ! Truly a bargain. This was our 7 th Princess cruise. Sailed once on Celebrity and were disappointed. And are put off by upscale, pretentious, ...
