This was my first cruise so I have nothing to say except it was outstanding. I cannot image anything better. The people, the games (LRC), and the rooms were large and comfortable. That being said, The food was great, but not up to my standards, especially at the french restaurant. This was our first cruise with Norwegian and the first freestyle one. We liked it very much. No overly dressy clothes to pack, just some nice pants/slacks, shirts/blouses did the job for dining. We chose the transatlantic cruise out of the Houston port on NCL Jade because it was the last time NCL would be embarking from Houston. The embarkation was fast and easy. We had a fun time on this ship. It appears there is a TA crowd that we plugged into from cruise critic and we had a blast getting together on sailaways, a daily game of LCR which grew larger (and louder) every day, the cabin crawl and met some wonderful people. We would definitely do it again.

We booked the March 6, 2016 Eastern Caribbean cruise to accommodate a family member's vacation. We flew to Houston one day before and settled in a hotel near Clear Lake, 15 minutes away from the Houston Bayport Cruise Terminal.
