Review for a Transpacific Cruise on Carnival Legend

We flew to Honolulu from Seattle to cruise on the Carnival Legend.. The cruise was 11 days and the first 2 days we were to be docked in Honolulu. The itinerary showed the ship being there at 8:00 am on the first day. We were under the impression that we could board after that. However, we were not allowed to board until 1:30 pm and after. This was not communicated at all. So, the first day was ...

We chose Carnival Legend because it was a re-positioning cruise. We flew to Honolulu & visited Honolulu, Maui, Hilo, & Kauai, each for one day. The Legend then sailed to Vancouver Canada to start the summer Alaska cruise. It was a great 11 days because the food, entertainment & activities were geared toward mature adults from the 50's, 60's, & 70's. We met so many people from al over the ...

We had a fabulous time on this cruise. We are a couple late 40's & early 50's. This was our 4th cruise, first on Celebrity. Embarkation was a breeze. We had received an email telling us to arrive between 1 and 5pm, but with having to be out of our hotel by 11am, we headed to the port. We thought we could at least drop off our luggage, but there were some others waiting to board so we joined ...

We wanted to go back to Hawaii & see some of the other islands & were intrigued by cruising to Vancouver. All in all we had a great cruise, but to do it again we'd cruise from Vancouver to Honolulu with the weather getting progressively warmer. The last 4 sea days we couldn't use our (wonderful oversized) balcony as it was too cold We spent 5 wonderful days precruise at the Hale Koa (military ...

Hawaii to Vancouver; Excellent Decision

Review for a Transpacific Cruise on Celebrity Solstice

The cruise started in Honolulu, with an overnight in Maui, onto Kona and Hilo. Then five days crossing the Pacific with disembarkation in Vancouver. All was wonderful - balcony on the ninth level, very good meals and excellent weather. I went parasailing on Waikiki beach - highly recommend this (and thankfully I did not have a big breakfast). Took the helicopter ride over Maui and bus tours ...

Solstice Good... Reflection Better... Hawaii Priceless

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Celebrity Solstice

Background: We're a late 50's Calgary couple who wanted a nice leisurely cruise, to do the Hawaii sampler and to get off in Vancouver so we had a short plane trip home. This was our 4th cruise, 2nd with Celebrity. A lot of our expectations were set when we sailed on the Reflection in December and the Solstice didn't quite live up to her sister ship. Newer is better I guess. Room: We had a ...

This was a cruise we picked for our 30th anniversary. My wife wanted to see a volcano, I wanted to experience a longer cruise and we both wanted to see Hawaii. It was a perfect cruise for us! For background, we are fairly recent cruisers with our first cruise being on the Monarch for our 25th anniversary. This Hawaiian cruise was our 8th cruise, all being with RCI except one with Disney. Our 3rd Cruise on April 20-May 1, 2016 with Radiance of the Seas

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Radiance of the Seas

This is our third cruise, all with Royal Caribbean, and first time on the Radiance. We had never been to Hawaii and with some extra vacation time accrued needing to be used up, we decided to make good use of it by doing a 19 day land-sea vacation combo. Cliff Notes Version of My Review: Overall, I really enjoyed the cruise. I did not allow some aggravations to dull my, otherwise positive, ...

We had been to Hawaii 4 years ago and did this cruise on the Rhapsody, so wanted to do it again. There was a bit of a delay getting on the ship with long lineups for each C&A category. Our inside cabin was mid ship and 3rd level which we picked in case the 5 sea days were rough (which they were not). This was our 3rd time on this ship and 2nd since its last refit, so no surprises. Our ...

We sailed on the Celebrity Solstice from Honolulu to Sydney on the 2nd of October 2015, the Ship was magnificent, staterooms large bathrooms beyond expectation, the cleanliness all over the ship outstanding. Crew were eager to please nothing was too much trouble for them, the food was beautiful in the Buffett lots of choices. Main dinning room was good could have been a little more variety ...
