We chose Carnival Legend because it was a re-positioning cruise. We flew to Honolulu & visited Honolulu, Maui, Hilo, & Kauai, each for one day. The cruise started in Honolulu, with an overnight in Maui, onto Kona and Hilo. Then five days crossing the Pacific with disembarkation in Vancouver. Background: We're a late 50's Calgary couple who wanted a nice leisurely cruise, to do the Hawaii sampler and to get off in Vancouver so we had a short plane trip home. This was our 4th cruise, 2nd with Celebrity.

We had been to Hawaii 4 years ago and did this cruise on the Rhapsody, so wanted to do it again. There was a bit of a delay getting on the ship with long lineups for each C&A category. Our inside cabin was mid ship and 3rd level which we picked in case the 5 sea days were rough (which they were not). This was our 3rd time on this ship and 2nd since its last refit, so no surprises.
