Pride of Aloha - Hawaii

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Norwegian Sky

Stay home is my best advice. I read reviews before we departed. (Party of 8) and saw all bad things. We decided to "Make or own fun". This in principal would have worked if the ship met us at least half way. The food and food service was so bad we kept trying new places and new waiters. (there was only waiters, no assistant waiters) Food was very slow in coming and very cold and bad when it ...

After being on 5 great cruises, this cruise was simply not up to par and failed in so many areas that I could honestly not refer this cruise to anyone! For the price paid and long traveling, I was expecting an exciting cruise with a great atmosphere and wonderful food--neither were onboard. The most shocking thing to me was the tiny cabin, we were on the 9th floor with a balcony and were expecting ...

This may surprise many of you who have read my postings over the last few months but ... I enjoyed this vacation. Why would I say that after mostly nothing but negative things to say about Pride of Aloha? It's because my wife and I traveled with friends - new and old - that we love dearly. Plus we have traveled with this charter group before and thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment and other ...

We are Latitude Members and have always enjoyed cruising with NCL. Twenty of us were originally booked on the Pride of America for a family wedding. Our rooms were all together. We were transferred to the Pride of Aloha to cabins with smaller balconies and we were all over the ship. Our TA tried to get us together but NCL could not accommodate her request. Six of us purchased our air through ...

This is NOT the cruise for you! I have nothing but bad things to say about this ship and it's crew. Very poor quality of service, lack of staff, minimal ship board activities. What a mess - It was like we were in some kind of experiment gone wrong! Crew and staff were unfriendly - never smiled - never spoke to you. I felt like I (the passenger) was the enemy. The staterooms were dirty - and ...

Let me just say I don't plan on taking anymore more cruises with Norwegian. I have traveled all over, been to all 50 states and on several cruises. This was the absolute worst. Poor service and just not enough help or room for the number of people they are putting on the Pride of Aloha. Let's see we received our luggage about 10 hours after getting on the ship. The passengers were going to the ...

Just returned yesterday from this cruise and a week at Waikiki beach. We did love the islands and Hawaii, but after saving for 2 years for a once in a lifetime trip, the cruise ship was disappointing. I have cruised before on Celebrity. There is no comparison. The Pride of Aloha had a very dirty food buffet. The hamburgers on deck were always cold, the hot dogs looked like they were days old. ...

From the time I began booking this cruise, I experienced nothing but argumentative, unhelpful service from the NCL staff. Once the cruise was booked, they messed up the reservation and then told me that if I wanted it altered to what I had originally requested, there would be additional charges. I ended up canceling the NCL flight portion and booking the flight myself. When I returned from my ...
