As with any holiday it is the people that make it. Thanks to all of our Cruise Critic friends who helped make this an incredibly awesome 28 day trip. I would however not sail on the Radiance again. The ship itself is very tired looking and everything cries for a spruce up, not only in public areas but the cabins as well. After being on Constellation and Infinity, we were expecting a major step up to the Solstice class.
Way too many staff were disinterested or rude.

Right from the start you get a feeling how things are going to turn out. Call it quirky, I don't know, but it happens. Traveling to Honolulu on the day of departure from Sydney on Ha452 Hawaiian Airlines was good and comfortable and when we arrived in Honolulu picked up our bags and made our way to the Hawaiian Taxi Service which took us to the Pier2 in Oahu we were their in plenty of time.

I'm sure the ship may have been a Rhapsody at some point but it needs to be retired. Hawaii and Canada were lovely and was the only saving grace. I'm not sure why RCL has invested in trying to put a band-aid on this boat instead of just replacing it with one of the newer vessels. The refurbish was a waste of good money.
