We spent one week in Waikiki before our cruise back to Australia. We had a great time. Boarding the ship was super easy. Never been easier in fact. I’m a celiac so I was worried about my food choices but the dining room team looked after me. I don’t think there were as many choices in the windjammers. Coffee has improved a little. Room attendant was amazing as always. I don’t think there was ...

We chose this cruise as a way to get to Australia in a relaxing way without jet lag. This was our 7th cruise and 5th with RCL. We enjoyed the cruise but did find both stretches of 5 sea days a little challenging. The staff were excellent Raj and Mohammed in Windstar outstanding, also our stateroom attendant Eko. We ate in Chops Grille once, not the best service but steaks were good. Giovanni’s ...

The itinerary was perfect. The weather until we sailed to Vancouver was warm and beautiful - and let's face it, sailing to Canada in early May was meant to be chilly. The ship was overall, in good shape. I love the Radiance class ships for the glass/views, and the intimacy. Captain Trym was quite entertaining. The service, in most cases, was stellar. As others have mentioned, I don't like the ...

The Cruise Director, Steve Davis, was over the top good. Still can't believe he taught 40 passengers to do Michael Jackson's Thriller zombie dance, which they actually performed to the music as a coordinated group in costume and makeup in the central plaza on the last night. Bravo. I liked the ship's performance of Piano Man in the theater. They had an outstanding pair of tenors. The Brazilian ...

It seems the travel industry has decided big is beautiful, we now see huge resorts covering hectares and more to the point cruise liners being the equivalent of land based resorts. I am of course talking about cruising in ships like the Ovation of the Seas versus the Radiance of the seas. It all comes down to personal choice, you might prefer to spend 14 days cruising on a floating hotel with ...

Overall a very enjoyable and relaxing second cruise with RC for us. We had a superior ocean view balcony stateroom located Aft on deck 7. The room service was very good, clean towels and bed made every day. We ate whenever possible in the main dining Cascades and found the food offering and service ( Franc & Ernesto) to be excellent so good in fact that we cancelled several speciality ...
