My husband and I enjoyed our cruise on the Spirit. We embarked in Honolulu with minimum wait times. It was less than 30 minutes from the time we were dropped off at the dock until we were sitting on the ship. The Hawaiian islands were beautiful. This was the first 12 days of a 24 day B2B HNL to PPT then Return to HNL. I was not impressed. The beds in both rooms were uncomfortable with linen that smelled funny, like dirty socks. They claim to have the best dining. We found the dining very good but behind in quality from our experience with Princess.

We mainly choose this based on the itinerary. And we got a great price on it too. I had read that this was NCL's smallest ship and somewhat geared toward adults. We found that to be the case. Overall my wife and I agreed overall cruise was excellent. The Entertainment really really made the cruise. The Sea Shakers, and Diego Bartolini - the one man band — were so exceptionally good and enjoyable night after night. Blazing Boots was great (hated Kinky Boots on a prior cruise).

Just completed a 16 day NCL Spirit cruise. The ship retrofit was nice except for internet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was not up to previous cruises. Mixed drinks are not made with name brand mixers which affected the taste.
