Carnival Spirit - Cruise to Nowhere

Review for a Cruise to Nowhere Cruise on Carnival Spirit

Other than the Carnival Paradise, this (our 19th cruise, the third on Carnival), was the poorest one we've been on. EMBARKATION To start off, when we got to the airport in Honolulu, there wasn't a Carnival person in sight. Finally, one woman had an airport information staff call Carnival to see where their greet staff were located. A large group of us were waiting at one of baggage carousels, ...

This is my review of our wonderful trip to Hawaii and cruise on the NCL Star 04-04-04. We are a 38 and 39 year-old couple and their daughter Kayla age 8, (going on 18).... It was our second cruise - our first was summer 2002 in Alaska on the RCCI Legend of the Seas. This was our third trip to Hawaii, and I thought the cruise was a wonderful new way to see our favorite places and some new ones, ...

After a week-long stay with my mother during her surgical recovery, I flew home (Florida) from Maine April 28th, with precisely 30 hours before our departure for Hawaii. During that time, I had to work a full day and it was best if I actually slept two nights. This left approximately 6 hours to unpack, do laundry, re-pack, pick up a few last minute items, and squeeze in a manicure and pedicure. ...

NCL Star March 21 - 28 , 2004 After reading for months the reviews and observation others had on the NCL Star, I thought it only fair to voice my opinions. This was our eighth cruise, our first on NCL, so we have had some experiences in cruising, most of which have been good. We arrived in Honolulu on Friday, to allow time to get over some of the jet lag, and of course to enjoy the city. ...

From the time I began booking this cruise, I experienced nothing but argumentative, unhelpful service from the NCL staff. Once the cruise was booked, they messed up the reservation and then told me that if I wanted it altered to what I had originally requested, there would be additional charges. I ended up canceling the NCL flight portion and booking the flight myself. When I returned from my ...

Ok here it is... a positive review from two early 30-somethings without kids. Enjoy! Pre-cruise - We arrived in Honolulu on 1/1 it was raining and that coupled with the holiday left us with not a lot to do but shop. We spent some time at the Ala Mohana center where we ate an excellent meal at The Pineapple Room, which is the more casual (and affordable) Alan Wong restaurant. Don't let its ...

I'm submitting this review in hopes that what happened to my husband and I, will not happen to someone else. We have been on 3 cruises before this one and never have either one of us felt so lousy. The trip to Fanning Island was very rough!! We had motion sickness pills and wristbands. They just kept you from going over the edge, but my husband was sick for 3 days straight which makes for a ...

First of all, let me say that this was one of the most enjoyable cruises I have experienced. As a formerly loyal Crown and Anchor member, this ship, with its "Freestyle" atmosphere is surely the future of cruising. No more rushing to make an 8:00 p.m. second seating dinner. Sure you give up the busboy knowing how many ice cubes you like in your tea, but geez!!!! We flew in to HNL @ 2:00p.m. ...
