I will keep this review brief. The food on the ship was way below standard. The food in the Saphire Restaurant was only just above the buffet standard at times and we consider ourselves pretty easily satisfied. Not having cruised before, I wanted to try a short cruise from Hong Kong. I had an interior stateroom on deck 9 without a virtual balcony. I didn't mind this as I didn't plan to spend a lot of time in the room apart from sleeping or napping. I preferred to sit up on deck to watch the passing scenery. It is a large ship. The check-in took over an hour & half. Due to the fact we had not been told to bring a copy of our passports. Otherwise ok. The ship itself is quite impressive. Very clean & some great friendly staff. A few issues- guest services queues up to 1.5 hours only 1 or 2 people at the most to help you. Demarcation at HK was a fiasco, not enough staff on arrival with no welcome, very long queues for a piece of paper that could have been sent out in advance.
