The GOOD Service - at every level of interface with the crew responsible for making the guests comfortable and welcome did an outstanding job. From the welcoming crew, to the housekeeping staff, to the bartenders, to the food service staff and the captain's staff, everyone was engaging and helpful. Lots of smiles and upbeat conversations for the entire time we were on-board. Required Safety ...

This is our 4th cruise with Azamara from Rio to Buenos Aires, a Transatlantic from Malaga to Rio, California coast, and this one mostly Vietnam and Thailand. All were outstanding. Our second trip, my wife was greeted by name as we first approached the gangway--A year after our first trip. That speaks wonders of the staff. "Welcome home Miss Dorothy" That cemented our love for small ships and ...

We cruise often on Seabourn, and other lines) but wanted a port intensive cruise of Vietnam and liked the 10 day itinerary of Hong Kong to Saigon. We had been on the Pride twice before under Seabourn and liked the ship so chose it for our first Windstar cruise. We thoroughly enjoyed the cruise and the Windstar experience. The food compared to Seabourn, the staff were responsive and cordial and ...

We recently returned from our 3rd Azamara Cruise, our second time aboard the Journey. We boarded the ship in Hong Kong on Feb 17th for our journey through the China Sea, to Tokyo and finally Shanghai. The Journey had been upgraded since our last cruise with new carpets, upholstery, cabins etc., and mirrored the Quest. No matter which ship you are on you feel comfortable and at home. The Journey ...

A Great Experience

Review for a Asia Cruise on Nautica

We just completed our second cruise with Oceania, having previously sailed on Riviera in the Meditteranean. This time, we chose Asia. We had done some of China before, but wanted to see how it was changed. We also had not been to Japan, and the Pearls of the Orient itinerary aboard Nautica offered a couple destinations that were of interest, but which we thought might be too out of the way to get ...

Azamara Club Cruises-Journey-2014-02-17 East China Sea, Japan's Inland

This is my first review on Cruise Critic, the style is a little more narrative than a review however there is some good information about the ship, the service and the ports of call as well. I was traveling solo, female, mid-forties and had booked the trip only four weeks before sail-date but have been a Japanophile since I was a child. The airport in Montreal was a madhouse on Saturday, February ...

Our third Azamara in the last 13 months and we are on again in April An older ship with the right number of passengers around 600, we live in the far east and flying is reduced to a minimum The food and choice of resterants is very good, my wife drinks one or two cocktails a day and myself a little more, we very much appreciate the drinks inclusive deal, and choose not to pay more for the deluxe ...

Another Wonderful Azamara Cruise

We had been on the Quest in 2012 and thought nothing would be able to beat that experience, but we were wrong. The Journey also provided us a wonderful cruising experience and the crew from the Captain down should be commended for making everyone feel so at home and comfortable on the ship. We flew into Hong Kong via Singapore from Adelaide, Australia arriving late at night and took the wonderful ...

Wonderful Asian trip

Review for a Asia Cruise on Azamara Journey

Our last two cruises were on crystal cruises which we thoroughly enjoyed, but we wanted a different type of cruising experience for our Asian cruise. We took a chance and booked with azamara club cruises on the Journey for a 14 day trip from Hong Kong to Beiijing. This ship is smaller (can navigate down smaller waterways and dock in the cities), there was no tendering at any ports. There are no ...

Hong Kong to Singapore through a monsoon then adrift at sea

Review for a Asia Cruise on Azamara Quest

We had high expectations of Azamara and for the most part, we still do. This was a much anticipated trip for us as we had been looking forward to seeing a part of the world that we would otherwise not likely see. We had also heard much about the President's cruise. It took effort to get so much vacation time and to travel so far from Canada. In the end, this ill-fated 17 day voyage would turn out ...
