To enjoy a leisurely time visiting various far east ports we had looked forward to this cruise for months, unfortunately the reality proved to be a disappointment. The embarkation was a slow process, which we christened FTS,( ie.. first time syndrome - perhaps they had never done this before!) This FTS continued throughout the cruise with poor organisation apparently emanating from the purser's ...

I've taken over 20 cruises usually of 21 night duration on Cunard, Celebrity, MSC, Holland America, Carnival and Royal Caribbean.Solo (single) traveller thus usually paying a 75-100% surcharge. For what it's worth I'm a gold level Cunard Club member. I returned on 09 April 2017 from an unpleasant and unenjoyable 3 weeks on Queen Mary 2 - Hong Kong to Singapore sector of the QM2 world ...

We chose this cruise because we had heard the company were very good but the ship disappointed. The places we visited were on the whole were great but the ship let it down. The hotel accommodation before and after the ship were very good indeed but again the ship let us down. The cabin I would say was average but the concierge service was very good. Service at the bars was not very good with wine ...

We had not been to any of these places before. But we're looking forward to the cruise. We were on freedom dining which worked out well dining room staff were pleasant and helpful but the food was very slow arriving at table, think problem was kitchen. Food was of poor quality and under done my wife got raw chicken and the beef I had was raw and cold in the middle. We have travelled with Celebrity ...

We had heard how wonderful Cunard were and how much better than all their rivals. We should have seen a red light when our first two encounters were being told to board a few hours later than planned due to novovirus being rampant on the boat and that the boat was no longer calling at Sharm el Sheik (on our itinerary). This was our 16th cruise in 5 years and we were both so looking forward to the ...

Chose for itinerary, time of year and previous Oceania Experience. Oceania however changed itinerary dropping disembarkation port of Istanbul and day in Ephesus. Added Rhodes, Santorini and disembark in Athens, areas we have previously explored for weeks. Oceania made no attempt to offer compensation for our already privately booked Istanbul expenses such as business class air tickets, 5 nights of ...

Very disappointed

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Arcadia

We choose this cruise as previous passengers always spoke highly of Arcadia and the itinerary was very attractive. Unfortunately, excursions were poorly planned and organised: black tie events and smart jacket events were changed I.e. reduced and cancelled, from the original itinerary; the only (very small) dance floor is taken over by the dance club so no where to party in the evening wearing the ...
