We chose this cruise as a special Christmas and New Year holiday, just for my wife and I coming from the UK, having been told that HAL was a big step up from P&O, which we travelled last time. Nothing could be further from the truth (except the price, I suppose).

As always, the ship, crew and food were great!
The biggest issue was that more modern venues for entertainment have been shut down on the smaller boats. In the Ocean bar, the trio band (think older standards for ballroom dancing) played every night till 10pm and then at 11pm the cruise entertainment person took on the additional duty of DJ for the only dance floor left on the boat. I have never experienced a more boring cruise than this one. The same selected songs got replayed over and over and over until my head hurt. Some crew members seemed like they didn’t really want to be there, some had attitudes or didn’t want to help. We thought this would be a step up for RCL and NCL. Disappointed. It took two hours to eat in the dining room, which meant you missed two of the possible shows to see. we were disappointed , this company isn't for us
Hot TUB and pool are very very small
We can't take the food ourselves at the lido market , so we have to wait and wait
the food is the same every day at the lido market.
at the restaurant the appetizers are poors, only vegetables and soup.
