We sailed from Vancouver BC. Short 4 day cruise. We stayed in a cheaper hotel as there was a big convention. The Tropicana. Cab drivers are really nice. Vancouver BC is a great city. I am young 60 and sailed with my daughter. I noted that passengers were from 30 to 70 years old. Canadians are super fun and very nice. The embarkation was very smooth. We have sailed HAL before and were satisfied. This was our first seven day Mexican Riviera cruise and it was at an optimal time of the year for us. Problems began before the cruise. Overall, good and fun. But for what I would want, 45 years of age, Birthday Cruise for my girlfriend, it was just okay. The main thing was the ship, its old and outdated. Its like a hotel that was once beautiful, when it was built, then it was kept clean, but never was the carpeted or the chairs refurbished.
