I chose this cruise because it was long 21 days. I also chose HA because of the older crowd, and fewer children.
Also for the food choices which were excellent .
my cabin stewards Yan and his counter part....can't remember his name at the moment were also awesome.

We chose to sail on the Nieuw Statendam because we had sailed on this ship before and enjoyed it very much. I do not know what has happened to Holland America and this ship it was totally different from when we were last on this ship and also sailing with Holland. Our last cruise with them was June 2021.

We took the 31 day cruise option (Nov 15-Dec 16 2023) - Fort Lauderdale to Buenos Aries with the express purpose of doing the Straits of Magellan.
