I am in the middle of a 67 day HAL cruise from the states all around Australia. This is a bucket list cruise, until HAL put holes in my bucket. No on-board passengers while sailing from the states were allowed to book any excursions in future ports of AU until we reached Sydney. We chose this cruises from Sydney to Honolulu as we wanted to visit the islands and Hawaii. also to try out HAL for first time, we have done 27 other cruises mainly on Princess but also on Cunard, P&O, Celebrity, Carnival. Embarkation was ok. Had VD verandah cabin, aft near elevators, ok with cabin. Bed fine, settee a little hard. Shower ok. Ecko our steward was fine.

Sailed on Holland America four other times. Never on prior cruises was I told we are sorry but we out out of that. On this cruise we were told sorry we are out of diet caffeine free coke White Wines, Beers, Teas, Ice Creams, Limes, wafers for Ice Cream. We have been on many cruises before this one and by far this was our worst cruise every by a country mile.
Embarkation was quick and efficient and on the ship in no time ( which turned out to be the best part of the cruise)

I was on a 12 night cruise from New Zealand via Tasmania finishing up at Sydney Australia.
The cruise was to include New Zealand North Island, New Zealand South Island, Tasmania, Melbourne and Sydney Australia.
Embarkation in Auckland was bad. Their boarding ramp broke and this added a few hours to the ordeal. Not a great start.
