This was the second time I have cruised on the Ooesterdam and it was an excellent cruise. When I read the poor reviews before going to Alaska I thought maybe things had changed since I last cruised to Mexico with the Oeesterdam two years ago.
Nothing could be further from the truth and the people who complained probably should not be cruising.

Sorry this has no particular order, but I thank those who reviewed before me and wanted to contribute.
We really enjoyed our cruise on the Westerdam. You have to realize that it is an Alaska cruise and what the clientèle will be... i.e. a mix of old people and families... not too many young 21+ people, but we still had a great time. Next time, we are going to try and do a Caribbean cruise ...

Arrived at dock at 2:00 in the afternoon because we had missed our original flight. Shuttle Express took us there first when driver heard we had been up since 4 am (2 am Seattle time) and really wanted to get there. Having read some relatively unkind reviews of previous voyages of this cruise I thought I would add my own thoughts to the mix.
