Relaxing Birthday Cruise

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Eurodam

I chose this cruise because it was leaving from Seattle and going to Glacier Bay National Park. It had a full day of cruising on my birthday. We have been to Alaska before, a two week cruise where we were running from beginning to end seeing the sights while in port. This was to be the opposite, time spent enjoying the ship and relaxing. That's exactly what I did. Seattle embarkation ...

*Summary* Best damn cruise we have ever been on. Exemplary crew from start to finish. The itinerary is pure Alaska and Glacier Bay National Park should be on everyone's bucket list. Less than one hour transpired from port arrival to sitting down for lunch. The entire cruise we encountered nothing but individuals who were happy with their work, and happy to ensure your time on their ship was ...

Port of Seattle made it easy for the family. Good way to experience Alaska. Teen rooms were great for the teens (not 13 or 18 though). Lots of food choices and activities. Wish they had more yoga activities and smell in dining room was a bit strong. great to be able to order a limited selection of room service beware of buying packages. they told me as i was boarding the only way ...

Always wanted to do a gay cruise - and always have wanted to see Alaska. Got the chance to do so last week - and was pleasantly surprised. The ship is really nice, the food was SURPRISINGLY good, and the itinerary (Seattle-Juneau-Glacier Bay-Sitka-Ketchikan-Victoria) was wonderful. Best part of the cruise was having National Park Rangers narrate on the ship PA as we toured Glacier Bay National ...

Best Food on a Cruise!

The food was amazing! We were thrilled with the quality of the dining room food. They served LARGE scallops. Each night was excellent: Snapper, Halibut, Steak, LARGE Shrimp, Lobster, more Steak, Rack of Lamb, 8 hour slow roasted Lamb Shank, and much more. The service was impeccable. Our servers were Ari & Aji. They are a great team. I was so sad on our last night. They spoiled us! The ...

we wanted to go to Alaska and had favorable experience with HAL in the past. How things have changed. Being in Alaska, I expected that the crab legs in the dining room would be better than "pre-cooked, frozen and then thawed and reheated". they were cold and soggy. My stateroom was very "tired" and the restroom caulking was discolored. we actually called the steward to sweep and clean the floor. ...

We chose this cruise for the ease of getting to Seattle from our home city. It did not disappoint. We cruised a similar itinerary in the past and love that this itinerary stops in Sitka - a very unique, less "touristy" city with some very cool things to do! There is only ever one ship at a time in Sitka so it is a much quieter, low key experience than some places. What really made this cruise for ...

This was the first time I was continually disoriented on the ship. The staff, cabin stewards and food servers were fabulous. The downside is the waiting in line for food and beverages. It wasn't until the 4th day that we had bread served in a basket at dinner along with butter, and we were able to get our own beverages in the buffet. Throughout the voyage the buffet was served cafeteria style ...

Excellent Cruise Experience

Inspiration Cruise with Dr. Charles Stanley. Everything about the cruise was excellent. Good food and excellent service. We had an inside larger room. There was an outbreak of norovirus (stomach flu) which was handled very well by the staff. Extra cleaning and food handling precautions kept it from spreading. We didn't sign up for any shore excursions through Holland America as they were ...

I wanted to be with Christians and also listen to Gospel Music. Every night the shows were very inspirational. The ship and our cabin were very nice. All of the crew seemed to be working all the time to keep things clean and sanitary. This made me feel very secure. The dining in the Lido was the best ever. I did also enjoy the meals in the dining room every night. I thought there could have been ...
