From beginning to end, a fantastic two weeks.
Embarkation:
Smooth and seamless, took less than ten minutes from getting to the pier to dropping my bags in my cabin.
Cabin:
Excellent and just what I had picked out. My cabin stewards were great and I did not want for anything the whole cruise.

Not sure what everyone's expectations are, but for us a vacation is for relaxation, learning, experiencing and meeting new people: recharging the batteries. My wife and I(late 60s, early 70s)took our first cruise with Holland America, 9/16/2010. We found the Eurodam to be very attractive, clean and well designed ship. Also, the entertainment facilities, restaurant areas and lounges to be very pleasant and accommodating. Our stateroom was well taken care of by our steward.
