Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Koningsdam

It was our 5th cruise on Holland. We had been sailing Royal since pandemic, but got a casino offer from Holland. We've always enjoyed Holland and this gave us a chance to get our foot in the door. We booked Club Orange and were not disappointed. Booked Have It All, probably not do in future, we get drinks in casino. We were worried after posts said drinks were only for 1 person, but they were ...

My wife and I are 3 stars with HAL and we booked this cruise earlier this year as short nice vacation by ourselves. We booked an aft facing veranda on deck 6 with Club Orange added and the standard HIA. This is our first cruise on a Pinnacle class ship. We flew from our home in San Antonio to San Diego on Nov 3rd and spent the night at the Embassy Suites on the bay very close to the cruise port ...

We had actually booked a HAL Caribbean cruise in Feb, which we had to cancel, and we switched to the Classic California coast, as we live fairly close to San Diego, and we could drive to the port. This was our first HAL cruise, we weren't certain what to expect, but we wanted to try the line. I was attracted by the Music Walk concept, since I play instruments and love music. Our expectations ...

Took the week on the Koningsdam as a quick getaway for hubby & I- needed the sea air again ...Koningsdam is a beautiful ship- aft verandah cabin was roomy, great service by Robby & Arya. First night in MDR was a bit painful- most diners were challenged using their smart phones to scan the code to read the menus...the waitstaff were a bit frazzled as well- took over 2 hours for dinner without ...

We have done a number of cruises with Holland America and always enjoy them. embarkation was smooth. Cabin crew were very good as was food. One of the staff in Tamarind remembered up from a cruise in 2017 which surprised and pleased us. Did not care for a couple of entertainers but not a big issue. Cruise director who we had sailed with twice before (Nick) is great and hope to see him again. ...

We took this cruise with another couple, long-time friends and traveling companions, booking two balcony cabins with adjoining doors and balconies, and we had a very good time. We were nervous about the weather sailing south down the coast, but needn't have been, because the weather was gorgeous and the seas were very smooth. Boarding was wonderfully efficient - we arrived at the port a bit ...

My husband and I are seasoned travelers but have never seriously considered cruising. We wanted to dip a toe in the cruise water without a big commitment so when this deal came our way, it was hard to resist. We really enjoyed it and Holland America Eurodam was a surprisingly delightful experience. Embarkation was very well organized and went smoothly, even with the huge crowd. I was surprised ...

My girlfriend, who had been on a cruise before, wanted to treat me to a cruise for my birthday, so we decided that we wanted something relaxing. the ms Eurodam was exactly what we were looking for and more. There were plenty of opportunities to relax, and just enough high energy environments to not overpower the overall feel of the ship. We went to few trivia events, had dinner at the Pinnacle ...

Saw this cruise on a tv show with Jane McDonald and thought it looked very good. Decided to do it so booked it and also had 3 nights in Vancouver to get over jetlag and make Vancouver part of the holiday .We never did any of the excursions offered as we found them to be a little too expensive so did our own thing when in port and still saw a lot ...
