This was our 2nd cruise on Holland and 4th Alaska cruise. Last year we were on Royal Caribbean and were in and out of the glacier in an hour. This ship needs an overhaul. Inconsistent service, poor maintenance. Zero health protocols. Other than the Rolling Stone Lounge, entertainment was very poor. We just got back from an 7-day Alaska cruise on the Eurodam. The service was impeccable. The food isn’t gourmet, but it’s quite good for mass produced fare. Our 1st time on a cruise. Not real impressed with the physical condition of the ship.
It supposedly was remodeled or updated in 2015 but it doesn’t show it! Many places & common areas smell bad~like urine & old sour mop water! The pool towels and third viewing deck blankets smell like mildew ALL OF THEM EVEN AFTER MENTIONING TO GUEST SVS.!
