In the past we sailed before with princess cruises, msc, carnival cruises, norwegian cruiseline and oceania to different locations. In general we prefer to see new destinations all over the world while we are still young. Therefore the destination, the port of calls and overall price are the main factors for us choosing the cruise line we use. Because the benefits as a loyal guest are usually like ...
The port heavy itinerary is great. Onboard facilities are decent. Too few elevators for the number of guests can sometimes lead to long waits. Live musical entertainers are top notch, but the music gets repetitive and boring. The music selection tends to stop around the 1980s. Forget about hearing anything more recent. Certain areas felt undersized and crowded. Biggest complaint by far is ...
This was a cruise without any positiv feelings for the costumers.
With a cruise director Thalling who found himself to! impotant...
Captain Timmers was oke.
Food was very good, ship new and clean, stewards very friendly as always.
This was the better part of this "nothing cruise"
Bad Covid prevention, and off course a hugh Covid outbreak again, like more cruises before!
No ...
Before booking and prior to sailing I triple-checked that masks were NOT mandatory.
Because my tonsils have been removed (badly) as a child I have a problem with airco and wearing facemasks. I would not book a cruise if I needed to wear one, as it totally destroys our vacation.
Upon arrival on the ship it became clear that:
MASKS MUST BE WORN everywhere at all times, except when ...
2 week Norway cruise ruined. Our deck 5 cabin was next to isolation area. I sat on our balcony for several days til I HAD to speak to woman on balcony next to me who smoked outside everyday. She informed me she was in Covid isolation and was told she could smoke. So, I inhaled her smoke for days. They put HEALTHY New passengers right next door to Covid area. We demanded to be moved, and days later ...
It was a family reunion. Nine of us sailed with N.S. on my strong recommendation. I had good experience with Massdam years back. This time nine of us were so disappointed. And I was the only one to be blamed to take this ship. I was not happy for the entire cruise holiday and now. My brother-in-law said he would not come back to this ship even it is free.
1) Lido Buffet - there was ALWAYS ...
Chose the cruise because of the advertised itinerary. HOWEVER, port times were on the average 3 hours shorter than stated in sales brochures. Four ports were on holiday or Sunday-nothing was open, and experiences were limited. Worst--Cherbourg, France docked on Sunday no rental cars were available all tours had been booked before we purchased the cruise, So my plans to visit the DDay beaches ...
We choice this ship, because we wanted to do the Baltic Cruise and see St. Petersburg and Amsterdam was a good place to start and end since I was born in Amsterdam.
We have done plenty of cruises, but this one was the worst one ever. The electrical outlet in the bathroom was not dual electricity, so I ruined my Waterfloss Pick. We went up the buffet restaurant sat down and I asked one of the ...
Great ports of call but many days lost to illness. I have cruised eight previous times and this is the first time I have ever been sick. That being said---MANY guests were very ill on this cruise. My cabin attendant did an excellent job cleaning my stateroom but I never saw banisters, lounges or elevators being cleaned.
Horrible meal at the "Pinnacle". No anchovies for the Cesar Salad and no ...
Embarkation was good. Greeted by nice friendly efficient staff. Our stateroom was very nice. It was modern, new and clean. The shower recess is the largest I have ever had on a cruise ship. The toilet is at an angle and my knees jam against the shower glass when sitting down. This is not a complaint, just an observation. The bed was not comfortable as there was a huge hollow in the middle. ...
