The cruise itself was okay. The wait staff was terrible. We had a waitress take our order and left. We had to grab someone else to take our order again. Our toilet broke and we had to wait until the next morning for someone to fix it. Fortunately we had an elevator outside our room and we could go down 2 floors to use a public restroom. We slept with our clothes on. The worst thing was we ...
We are experienced cruisers. We chose this cruise because we wanted to see as much of Hawaii as possible. We thought that the 50th state would be the star and had read other reviews downplaying the ship and her crew and services, wow were they wrong. We found the ship to be in great shape, new carpeting , fresh paint, comfortable bedding, very strong shower. The food was all good. Not a ...
Norwegian should turn this ship into an artificial reef and do the marine environment some good. One should not judge Norwegian based on this review as we had cruised on several NCL ships in the past and have nothing but stellar service and wonderful experiences on each one. This is a great way to get a taste of Hawaii if you’re not interested in how you get there.

We wanted to cruise in Hawaii to see more of the islands. This was our goal and it was accomplished! The ship is basic and I felt they didn’t try as hard because of the beautiful setting. Food was par to subpar, rooms had an odor. Staff varied. I felt the staff in main dining and buffet were better overall. Room steward didn’t really interact with us like cruises before COVID (in fact he threw ...
My wife and I took our very first cruise. We chose Pride of America’s Hawaiian island cruise with all the anticipation of great meals, excellent service and beautiful scenery. The scenery didn’t disappoint but 2 of the harbors that we docked at were industrial parks with machinery rolling most of the day. We let Norwegian arrange our airfare out of Seattle and we went a day early to try to enjoy ...
Just finished this cruise, and I can echo much of what has been said by others. Two of the biggest things that stood out to me were the quality of the food and the service. Neither were good, with very few exceptions. Some bartenders / servers were better than others, but it was a rarity to get really good service with a smile. Many of the servers seemed indifferent to you ... and bar ...
We chose this amazing land and sea experience to be sure we were able to enjoy all that Hawaii has to offer. We stayed 3 nights at the Hyatt Regency in Waikiki, and then boarded the cruise ship to sail to four more destinations. We felt we were able to visit it all with expert tour guides who knew just what to see and when to see it.
The Hyatt Regency is a beautiful four star hotel downtown ...
Chose this cruise because we wanted to explore the Hawaiian Islands.
The food was amazing - the main buffet breakfast , lunch and dinner amazing! Once the main buffet closed a little buffet above the pool would open serving hotdogs, burgers etc. the chef made fresh cookies everyday which were AMAZING!!! Hot warm soft and delicious.
Brian from the Cadillac diner was our favourite server. On ...
Chose Pride of America as only cruise in Hawaii to see 4 islands.
The cruise ship itself was fine, the food was good, speciality restaurants great. But the trip was ruined by some of the rude staff, even customer service, and lack of technology and dishonesty.
Poor Service - Heard one of the senior staff telling customers that many of the people who worked on the ship had a chip on their ...
We chose this cruise because it was round trip from San Pedro, Ca - we did not have to fly to board the ship. Easy embarkation and debarkation.
The most positive experience of/on this cruise were the terrific crew members. They were all extremely friendly, helpful, and smiling all the time. They made you feel very welcome.
We were in a Club Class Mini Suite, Dolphin Deck. Our steward, ...
