We were so excited to go on this cruise as it was our first family vacation in over 4 years. We have cruised several times before and have always had a positive experience. This was the first time we had gone on a cruise with Norwegian, but we had heard so many good things about this cruise line I didn't expect all the issues we had!
This was the first time I have travelled internationally ...
We used the NCL Promotional Air - Most everyone had to as there are only two scheduled flights to Tahiti per day. They got us to LAX then had 3 maybe 4 charter flights to Tahiti. Lucky for us we were on one of the latter flights that was maybe 2/3 full so we could spread out. The seats in the economy section of the “Air Tahiti Nui” Airbus A310 were most uncomfortable. We arrived with no ...
Excellent service on the ship. Small ship, not too many people, this is good. Too many giant screens, not necessary at all especially when listening to a band playing music. The band Hotwire is excellent, if you want to dance.
Disappointed that all communication are in English only. On other companies it is in multiple languages.
Food was just ok. Japanese and Italian restaurants ...
Chose this cruise for the unique opportunity to see both French Polynesia and Hawaii, and the ports of call did not disappoint. What did disappoint was the lack of effort and variety that comprised activities while at sea. With 4 straight days at sea, we were hoping for a full option of things to do, but the daily itinerary was pretty much recycled from one day to the next. There were not a lot of ...
Bucket-List destinations !
All is GREAT !!!
Unless you contacted Covid-19, Then you're a 3rd class citizen.
While quarantined service is non-existent and meals delivered to cabins are VERY limited, untimely and unpredictable.
Fortunately we had an excellent cabin-steward (who could not enter our cabin)
but allowed us to regularly exchange towels and emptying of trash.
My ...
Went on what was supposed to be a dream of a lifetime cruise with Norwegian Cruise Lines, 14 day cruise to the Hawaiian Islands and Also Islands in Tahiti. We had a wonderful time with family and friends...until the 12th day when some tested positive for Covid. When this happened the cruise line told us we would be able to stay in our State rooms with balconies. Well, little did we know, they ...
We just came back from a cruise Hawaii to Papeete May 2022. I want to thank everyone aboard for making this our best holiday so far. We have never cruised before so did not know what to expect but this ship far surpassed all expectations.
From the beginning the trip started off in the best way, we had saved for a long time for this cruise and had the most basic room as we preferred to spend our ...
4 days in Hawaii..on the ship..4 days at sea and 4 days in French Tahiti
Waikiki 2 days at Ambassador Hotel, ABC stores, fun food restaurants, walking sightseeing.
Kaui, rented a 4 door truck and drove up to Waiamea Canyon....looked like the grand canyon of Hawaii.
Drove 30 miles in other direction to get donuts at Hanalei, Met some hippie surfers and hung out with them for a ...
Our May 19th cruise from Honolulu to Papeete was beyond wonderful. Okay, we had a couple days of lousy weather- but when it comes to this ship and it’s crew, I can’t say enough good things. The crew went above and beyond doing their jobs, and were always cheerful and fun while doing it. Many called us by name. The specialty restaurants were exceptional. If you take this cruise from Honolulu to ...
I have been on many cruises and I have tried several cruise lines, but I had heard good things about NCL, so I thought why not?!? If this is you, let me tell you why not…
Initial cruise was cancelled for COVID, and that was understandable, but the cruise line refused refunds and would only allow future credit, but with an expiration date, I am sure retired folks don’t have to worry about ...
