Entertainment. Poor overall. Didn’t warm to the cruise director personally, prefer a more mature director. No decent shows, only went to theatre once and that was enough.
Food. Started off ok but got better as the cruise went on. Didn’t feel the Crown Grill was as high end as we’ve had on previous Princess cruises but was still nice. Sabitinis excellent. Buffet was ok but food usually cold. ...
This is my first attempt at writing a review so I hope it helps future cruisers. This was our fist Princess cruise and probably last, for us, the dining experience is 30% of the cruise, and honesty very important.
Embarkation : We got lucky and rolled right through with a little unsolicited help from one of the ladies working the lines, but it looked like a free for all, caused mostly by ...
My wife and I had been on one other cruise prior to this one. It was on the Discovery Princess to Alaska in June, 2022. We enjoyed it very much. So we decided to take the 15-day cruise to Hawaii, from LA, on the Crown Princess in December 2022. There were no health restrictions required and we felt that it would be a safe trip. One of our hard-shell suitcases was cracked when it was delivered ...
I had a Norwegian cruise credit that needed to be used. After 3 cancelations we were finally able to board. I understand the first cancelation, everyone did. The other two were management issues, booking a ship and knowing there was not hired help. No help from Norwegian on the last two.
Lets start with the Cruise. Embarkation, we show up early because we were in Hawaii. The process was fine - ...
This is our second cruise with NCL because the first one pre-pandemic was great. WOW were we in for a shock! The food was cold and tasteless. Some of the supposedly free specialty dining was closed the entire time. No reservations available for the ones that were open, even though we did it a month in advance of the cruise. There was only one sit down dining room that was open and only for dinner ...
We chose this cruise because we wanted to visit Hawaii only and the itinerary just went to the Hawaian islands and spent 2 days on each island. We thought this would be the best way to explore Hawaii and what it has to offer. The boat is US registered and requires 70% of the staff to be American. The ships was 80% capacity, but there was a shortage of staff.
Here are the reasons this was the ...
I have been on 7 NCl cruise and even sailed on the Pride Of America 5 years ago with my wife. We selected this cruise again because this time we wanted to bring our two adult Special needs children with us so they could see the beauty of Hawaii. This is the only ship that does a full week in Hawaii. We were very disappointed over all. We booked two a joining rooms as there were 5 of us ...
First of all. let me say I had some trepidation after booking this cruise. We were originally booked on the Diamond Princess out of San Diego in October. We were anxious to have a Princess ship ported out of our hometown and yes it was "that" Diamond Princess of Covid fame. But unfortunately, Princess cancelled the cruise along with about seven or eight other San Diego departures due to a lack of ...
It is so hard to give a very good review for out sailing on Nov.12-19. I don't know where to start. People tried to do there best. This was out 13th cruise, and 3rd with NCL. Originally, we were sail in August, but because of staff shortage we were required to rebook. We received our full deposit back and were future cruise credit in the form of the cost of our inside room. Of course the cost ...
We chose the cruise because of the itinerary, travelled with two friends. We were all platinum members. We were looking forward to a relaxing time and excited for the planned stops. Stops at Bora Bora and Pago Pago were cancelled prior to the ships departure, very disappointing for many of the passengers. Understand this was out of Princess control. Embarkation at San Pedro was the easiest and ...
