We chose this cruise for a family vacation and it did not disappoint! What an amazing ship and the staff was wonderful. It never felt overly crowded and we hardly ever had to wait in lines except for my time dining and that was not bad at all. We had 7:45pm reservations every night and we waited maybe 15 to 20 mins tops. We sailed from Port Canaveral. Embarkation and Disembarkation were a breeze! We drove and tipped a porter on the sidewalk to take our bags. We then practically walked right onto the ship with no lines or problems whatsoever! The ship was amazing. It was so clean and there was plenty to do as far as entertainment and activities. We did see Grease and the Fine Line Aqua show. Both were wonderful although Grease was a bit long. My only complaint is that they charged for popcorn for the show. I thought that was a bit cheap but the entertainment was excellent. We also caught the Love and Marriage show, which was quite funny and a couple of pool contests like sexy man and belly flop. These are always fun and entertaining. Our children are 18 and 20 so we really enjoyed the solarium in the late afternoons. It would have been nice to have a pool in the solarium but the hot tubs were wonderful and plentiful with cooling stations. There always seemed to be plenty of pool chairs and we never felt like the ship was over the top crowded. For dining, we did the my time dining because there were no reservations left. This was our first time doing that. It was nice to be able to go whenever if we didn’t show up right on time for our reservation but we missed not getting to know a specific group of servers. We had a different set of servers every night. The service was good but not as good as what we have experienced when we had regular times and the same set of servers. We did not choose any specialty dining as we have done this on past cruises and do not find the food to be that much better. The windjammer was the best windjammer we have eaten at so far with a large variety of quality good food available. The solarium restaurant had a nice salad bar. The park cafe had a wonderful selection of paninis for lunch and breakfast. Sorrentos Pizza was good. There was always a nice selection of pizza. Small bites was the only place to get chips and cheese unless you pay at Sabor, which we did not. They were just ok. We had nice chips and salsa off the boat but it would be nice if they would bring this back in the windjammer with Guacomole and some chunk cheese and crackers. We did not get a chance to try the dog house. We did order coffee and basic fruit as room service but the options are limited for breakfast and we enjoyed main dining and park cafe for our breakfast options. Overall the food was very good. The bars were great! We really enjoyed the Mimosas and Bloody Mary bar in the pub. The schooner bar is always a fav and their lavender daquari is amazing! Boleros has a coconut mojito that is wonderful. Wonderland is fun to pop into for a nice drink and to check out the scenery. Vintages had a nice wine selection. All the pool bars were great with very little wait time and the solarium was the best. All staff were polite and quick. The customer service on this ship is top notch! Our cabin was on the 7th floor. We had an extended balcony. It was wonderful. The rooms on this ship are laid out so nice with lots of storage space and drawers for clothes. We each had our own closet on either side of the room. The bathroom was roomier than any of the other royal ships we have been on. Our stateroom attendant was our favorite so far. She went out of her way to make sure we had a wonderful experience. The excursions were great. Coco Cay is wonderful and it is so nice that Royal honors your drink package and food on the island. The lunch was wonderful. We stayed on Chill Island for most of the day and did go to the pool with swim up bar for a bit. It was busy but so fun. We ended up spending $40 on 2 lounge mats for the day for the beach. I’m not sure that was worth it. I noticed some people brought their own small blow up loungers with netting and I would probably pack something easy like that for next time but the loungers were nice. Next we went to Cozumel and ended up booking an excursion at Mr. Sanchos all Inclusive. It was awesome and we cant wait to go back. I reviewed that on Trip Advisor and that is where I found them. Next, we went to Honduras. I booked Little French Key all island access pass. This was amazing!!! I booked directly online and have also reviewed them on Trip Advisor as this is where I found this excursion. Last we went to Costa Maya. We just got off the ship and shopped around the port. It was a lot of aggressive vendors on the inside that were willing to cut the prices if you started to walk away and a lot of expensive vendors in stores surrounding this. I probably would not get off the ship next time. They did have a pool and swim up bar people seemed to be enjoying. Overall this is our 7th cruise and the best yet! We would love to go back on Harmony of the Seas! Read Less

One of the best cruise ships we have ever been on. From the staff, rooms, food, and overall activities to choose from, we could not have asked for more. The food at many of the available restaurants was excellent. We especially enjoyed the casual experience at Windjammer. The food was excellent every day! We were not highly impressed with the Chop House, especially for the price, but everything else was great. You could not have asked for a friendlier room attendant! There are so many activities to participate in that you will never be bored. The casino is very tight. Don’t spend too much time in there, or you will leave broke. Other than those two negative ratings, the rest was awesome. Make sure to take the VIP dolphin swim in Nassau. Our family loved it! Although there is still damage from last year’s hurricanes, St. Thomas and St. Kitts were still beautiful! We will definitely be back for another Harmony of the Seas cruise! Read Less

SERVICE - 8.5/10 Overall, the service was exceptional. Some higher demand areas needs improvement but overall, really really impressive. Many workers are from countries with very demanding work ethics and that shows in how they present themselves. Great job! FOOD - 8.5/10 We had the ultimate dining package. To us, it was worth it. Because the free food is generally a hit but some misses. The specialty restaurants were a great experience generally but not made all equal. Jamie's Italian and Izumi were the best. If you think Italian is just Italian, you'll be shocked. ACTIVITIES - 9/10 So much to do on this ship! You can definitely spend all 7 days on the ship and barely get familiar with it all. It was a lot to take in but they organized it pretty well with the daily newsletters. ALCOHOL - 9/10 Loved the Deluxe package. Do not skimp on the drinks and a lot of variety. CABIN - 9/10 Excellent attendant, clean, and sizeable. My ONLY gripe on this whole ship is that they have short toilets, but not a biggie- just a first world preference. PORTS - 8/10 Ports were generally clean and well laid out. Definitely can tell it has RC all over it, but it was enjoyable. Overall, this was an amazing experience. Highly recommended ship. So much to do that can cater to everyone, it is a ship definitely worth cruising. Such great service from majority and impressive shows/events. The restaurants are hit or miss but majority are good. Flew in from Newark the night before, embarkation went smoothly, our junior deluxe suite was fabulous with a walk in closet, balcony, complimentary Moët Chandon champagne and lovely toiletries. The only issue was the shower door. It covered only half the tub. We were careful yet the floor was quite wet after showering, one had to squish to stand on top of the drain to try and keep the shower water from splashing outside. Seriously, needs addressing. After speaking with guest services and our lovely stateroom attendant ‘Leeshell’ we realized there was nothing else we could do. There were a lot of people onboard; a bit crowded. Finding your way around was challenging at first, learning port, aft, forward etc helped tremendously, finding a crew member always solved direction issues. One learned how important washing hands is. KUDOS to Royal Caribbean! We were fortunate to dine in a different venue each evening which was great and entertaining. The Windjammer though very crowded always had a large selection of food for breakfast/lunch. May I suggest adding Greek yogurt for those who can not tolerate regular yogurt? Also, having a selection of nuts would compliment any meal. The smoking section near the pool should be well marked especially for those trying to avoid it. The entertainment was out of this world; absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, there wasn’t enough time to do everything; there’s always next time! Really enjoyed and took advantage of the great sales on cruise wear, handbags and watches, thank you! Each and every server and attendant was most helpful in every situation except the shower door issue. Cleanliness was a priority and it was evident everywhere. A suggestion for after disembarkation: please have the restrooms on your pier cleaned and with toilet paper, we had issues leaving Saturday. One really notices the difference after being on the cleanest ship. Nassau Bahamas wasn’t inviting, we walked on our own, St Thomas was cleaner. Again, we tried touring alone. We had inquired several times on the ship and were assured the tram was open to take us to the top for a spectacular view of the ship. Unfortunately, the tram was closed due to hurricane damage several months earlier. Please advise future guests. We contracted a tour guide who gave us an excellent education while driving us around for two hours. Eating locally was fun, shopping was good. On St Kitts the shopping was great! A gentleman with monkeys dared to place one in my arms and proceeded to take pictures using our cellphones, before the third person we inquired how much-$10/person, we stopped him and paid the $20. Pictures came out great but $ should have been mentioned first. Again, we contracted a tour guide for an hour who was at least a $100 cheaper than going through Royal Caribbean. Onboard on our last two sea days there were bargains; cruise wear, handbags and watches to name a few. Fortunately, there was time for me to package and mail my items, suitcase was overweight for flight home. May I suggest you offer to mail within the USA. It would encourage more shopping. The track on Deck 5 was the best allowing one to walk the perimeter of the ship showing great views. The children running around wasn’t the best, I believe you encourage families which is great though it’d be nice to have separate accommodating cruises. TCM chartered the Disney Fantasy in Nov 2016 where there were very few children and approximately 2400 passengers; a comfortable amount of guests. Definitely would go again to other ports checking ratio of adults to children. We had an excellent time and thank you for doing such a great job! Also enjoyed ‘my time dining’. Read Less

This is my second time on the ship and it was perfect for me. The first time I was part of a group of twenty this year I went alone and I had a blast. I did not get off the ship, no desire to do so. I always had dinner in the dining room. For lunch I tried different venues including Sabor which was awesome. For dinner I was seated with different groups however a few nights I wanted to sit alone and the staff accommodated me. I avoided the Windjammer at all cost, I believe I got food there twice but I never ate in there. I was so familiar with the ship that I was able to avoid the crowds. I treated myself to SPA services which was worth its weight in gold. Did room service one night, the service was great, I overdid it and the food was not that great. I jogged on the track on 5 which was less crowded than the fitness center. The only show I was interested in watching was the Aqua show. I watched it in daytime which wasn't as great as at night. Night life was perfect, I hung out in the casino everynight and would leave with different groups of people and show up to Dazzles and the Attic. I had a wonderful time and met many wonderful people. Too bad I met no one from this group since I got no invitation to attend. Read Less

I have been in many cruises and only on w of them I have seen a cruise director that good, there was never a dull moment, from different themes every-night to the disco late at night he was always there overlooking all the staff members, for me it made the difference What a great time we all had! Embarkation & disembarkation was fast & well organized. Come prepared with all documentation needed and all will go smoothly. The ship is beautiful and was festively decorated for Christmas. It is so large that we never felt crowded. They emphasize on cleanliness so there are hand sanitizers everywhere. Which I think is a great idea considering all the germs out there. We stayed in cabin 11677 and the room was very comfortable with enough closet space. Our room was always clean. The stewards were friendly and attentive. We never had any problems with noise. We dined in Silk and when available we also had breakfast there. The food and service were impeccable. The Windjammer offers quality food with plenty of variety. The pizza was also very good. The entertainment was off the charts. I loved every single show we went to see. There was a different show every day. 1880, Big Daddy’s Hideaway, The Fine Line, The Attic, to name a few, were all worth seeing. Central Park was beautiful as well as the Carousel. We loved the Ultimare Abyss and the water slides. My husband loved the wave pool. We were never able to use the Wall or the Zip Line. Every time we went they were closed. The Dragon Flight in Labadee was awesome. Snorkeling in Cozumel was a definite repeat and a bus tour in Jamaica. The week was fabulous although the weather tried to dampen the fun. Read Less

From ice skating shows to Grease to fantastic comedy and a great surprise headliner show, to watching a movie on deck, to all the clubbing, live music, dining, drinking, wine tasting, sports, swimming and many more activities, it was just great! The port and beaches of Labadee Haiti is a big farce, as it is owned entirely by Royal Caribbean itself, so we felt betrayed as we had booked the Historic Walking tour in an area where there was absolutely no history to talk about. Falmouth Jamaica and Cozumel Mexico were great experiences and the tours there were amazing! Really cool to see so much of the local culture. We had a wonderful experience sailing on an all inclusive ship and sightseeing two countries on the way. The Harmony is a very cool ship that everyone should see, and the people working on board are all very friendly and helpful. Read Less

My 10 year old son would begin his activities at 7:30 am and by 6:00 pm he's exhausted. All the staff was very helpful and friendly. They have a lot of stores and every day they have a different special. I love that you can prepay almost everything (Drink Package, Internet, Arcade, Photos, Shore Excursions, Specialty Dining & Spa Services). They also have an Escape Room, Carousel water slides, ultimate abyss, basketball, ping pong, volleyball, water surfing, gliding and Ice Skating Rink for entertainment for the whole family. The comedy shows were hilarious. I loved the moving bar lol. excellent ship and ports & shore excursions. The organization was excellent. The service was top. Enough activities to do and very various. The excursions organized by Royal Caribbean were excellent. The qualitiy of the food was very good and various. A lot of choice of cocktails and other drink. Also a lot of choice with the different buffets. I did already many cruises, mostly with MSC, but this was my best cruise (better quality, the ship, etc). In the future, from now on, I will try to cruise only with Royal Caribbean, These ships are very big, but not disturbing. As the ship is very big, there is a lot of possibilities of activities and place enough. For every activity on the ship, you have never to wait too long (or not to wait at all). I surely recommand Royal Caribbean to each one who like cruises. You will not be disappointed. Read Less

My partner and I took the first cruise out of Fort Lauderdale on this Ship for 3 days, which was amazing, and of course it would be since it was the first time it traveled in Florida. But what blew me away was we decided to do it again but this time for 7 days traveling from Fort Lauderdale to Haiti, Jamaica, and Mexico! The experience was just as amazing as the first cruise if not better. To me that shows the level of consistency and pride this company takes in there cruise line and ships! Getting on the ship was super quick, easy and convenient! We were greeted with amazing friendly staff and even on embarkation and disembarkation the music was playing as we arrived and left making it feel like we were on vacation even when leaving the ship. The ship is 10 stars beautiful. We had an ocean view balcony the first trip and this time a central park balcony! We received a free bottle of wine and a dinner in central park when we arrived, which was super cool not knowing we were getting that for free at all. Plus the room has more storage than we even needed and I even over packed haha! Its super modern compared to all other cruise line I have been on. We honestly ate at the Windjammer and had room service the entire trip its so good and convent we did not even need the dinner in the main hall this trip! But last trip it was for sure a great experience! The entertainment was above and beyond, I made it our ultimate goal to do everything on this ship this trip around (which in the end we did not even get to since there was so much to do). The play "Grease" was amazing but what really got me was the ice skating show (1887) and most importantly "Columbus" (A MUST SEE). Columbus has this old day MODERN THEME going on and it was truly original and even the staff looked like they enjoyed every second of performing on stage! We got to see puppeteers, comedians, and so much more like the late night evening game show event what the entire room of hundreds of people joined in to play the game. I have never seen an entire room with this many people get so involved in a game before i was truly impressed. The Excursions were something we normally do not do and we have take 10 plus cruises. But we were having a blast so decided lets do one every port! We were so impressed and will now do an excursion every Royal Caribbean Cruise we go on! Port 1 - Labadee, Haiti - Excursion - Dragons Flight Zip line - This Excursions started it off for us.The staff on the ISLAND which is owned by Royal Caribbean were amazing! We had this Australian Lady who was so upbeat and cool who took us from the training and practice all the way to the top and saying go. Service was outstanding! The zip line views are breathtaking and it is apparently the worlds largest zip line over water! (MUST DO THIS). Port 2 - Jamaica - Excursion - Horse back riding on trail and ocean - We have always wanted to ride horses, so that day we did and we had an amazing time. We were going thru the trails and learning how to ride horses and the sayings, we met the staff on shift who were helpful and cool. We then were taken knee deep into the turquoise color ocean waters and ran with the horses. Such an experience! Port 3 - Mexico, Cozumel - Excursion - ATV and Cave Diving - All I should say is FUN, FUN, & FUN! We were with a group of 20+ people and we all got our own ATV. We drove trough trails and to these beautiful caves and went cave diving! Well I did as well as a few others. This to us was such a bucket list kind of thing and it was great! So OVERALL this ship and and this Company are truly amazing and I already pre-booked the same exact cruise in December! Read Less

My Mom had business trip on this cruise and I can along! Amazing time, food was great and plenty. Staff was very kind and helpful. So much to do and see. Loved the Dog House, for their Coney Island hotdog. Windjammer always kept things fresh for selections of food. Something for everyone. I loved the Adult solarium. Nice and quiet, kid free, gorgeous views, and relaxing. The medical staff was very professional when we had to take my father to be seen. Due to the medical issue we had to miss our shore excursion and the Ship staff helped us to get reimbursed our cost. They have this Bionic Robot Bartender, it was cool to design my own drink and watch this Robot make it. Great to watch even if not ordering a drink. The Abyss, was intimidating at first, until I watched an 80 year old lady go down it and told me how much she loved. So I gave it a go, and I loved. Loved it so much going again on same ship next March. Read Less

Wanted to get on board on the biggest cruise ever, Harmony had its first trip from the USA to the Caribbean. The immigration and check in process was fast and with no problem. Planned the trip since January 2016. Party of 15 with all family members. Rooms were clean and had an acceptable space, our bags were near the room, we had to take them inside our cabins. Overall experience is 100%, food was great in every restaurant we ate, but the best food is definitely at dinner were you are attended by a personal waiter and a helper. Every day he already knew our drinks and what kind of food or taste we wanted to try, bought a bottle of wine every day at an affordable prices, $ 50 to $ 65 each. Kids menus are very good. It is and overall experience for the whole family, many activities to do alone or with your loved ones. Teens loved the wave, pool, sports deck. The smaller ones, loved the carrousel, pool and the arcade. The excursions on each Island were investigated on line to get affordable prices and to know everyones experiences. Everytime you get on board again, you have to pass thru X-rays and inspections. People on the Islands are very friendly. Shows and entertainment was very good and it makes you lose control that you are on the ocean. Ice cream, hot dogs and pizza is an everyday meal for between meals, all included in the price. Very highly recommended for a lifetime experience. Read Less

I was lucky enough to sail on this wonderful ship on the Maiden Voyage from Southampton to Barcelona. I had a fantastic time and wanted to return to Harmony on her last Mediterranean cruise before going Transatlantic. This time I decided not to write this review on my immediate return from the cruise. I am so glad that I did I am normally so excited on my return from a cruise that I can't wait to tell everyone how great it was. I had mixed feelings going onto this cruise and my thoughts were how can I better the Maiden voyage on this wonderful ship and approximately 6 weeks before on the Maiden Voyage of Ovation. On boarding Harmony I went straight up to Central Park, I so love the idea of a park on a cruise ship. I was blown away I had to sit down and just take it all in, Central Park had changed so much in only five months it was just beautiful. After twenty minutes I headed to the Park Café for the wonderful Steak Roll and then to the Trellis bar for a glass of two of red wine. Then I started to meet up with crew and friends from my previous cruises. I knew from that moment onwards that I would have an enjoyable and wonderful cruise. There was a lot of members on this cruise and the lounge was very busy but well catered for. I again met some wonderful crew members from my previous cruise thank you for remembering me and making my time special on board. I decided that I would stay on board for the whole week so I cannot give any port or excursion reviews. I had a solo cabin on board just a couple of cabins along from my previous cruise and I was very well looked after again. It still amazes me how someone can think of building a ship of this size and with so much to do. I again decided that I would not eat at any speciality restaurants as I found the complimentary dining so good last and I have to say that I had no complaints this time. However my friends did try out Wonderland and Jamies and told me how great the experience and food was in both. I again did the galley and bridge tours what a great laugh and experience the galley tour was. Our guide was one of the head chefs he was so funny and entertaining whilst firing some great jokes and fantastic one liners during the tour. Until you experience it you cannot understand just how much effort and hard work goes into putting your meal on the dining table. A few days later the bridge tour, again really enjoyable and again the facts and figures which keeps the beautiful ship floating and entertaining us is truly amazing. During the tour Captain Gus arrived on his two wheeled retro scooter which we saw him on all over the ship. We could feel his pride and passion in Harmony and his pride in the wonderful crew on board this ship. It was only a couple of days left now on Harmony and I was determined to enjoy as much as I could in such a short time with of course a few drinks included. The crew were amazing and hard working normally I mention some crew members who have gone the extra mile. This time I would like to say thank you to every member of the crew you all delivered the WOW factor. The cruise had now come to an end and many people were staying on board for the Transatlantic crossing I have to say I wish I could stay on Harmony. There was also a lot of excitement when all three sister ships would meet up together. I had a heavy heart when I left Harmony she is truly a beautiful ship Read Less

I originally booked the maiden cruise from Southampton to Barcelona long before they added the two 3 and 4 night preview cruises which I will review separately. The contrast to the 3 and 4nt cruises was amazing, with most of the contractors disembarked and 99% of things operational those just joining were all asking the same question, what could have been wrong? Ironically of the two weeks it started with our first code Bravo onboard whilst in Southampton due to incinerator smoke drifting into areas it shouldn't have. With that done and dusted we set sail, albeit to Capt. Gus' slightly depressing classical music choice! Everyday onboard we were given gifts, from caps, flags, flasks, food and drinks, commemorative coins and photo/certificate to rucksacks and bingo tickets. The mood was positive, the Sun was shining everyday and the beer flowing. My cabin was in full working order and it had one of the deepest balconies I've had in modern ships in recent years. Only half of the entertainment was on, one Aqua theatre show "fine line", grease, one street party and one ice show but that was more than a lot of other ships and the gaps were filled with a whole host of guest headliners entertainers from the likes of Bobby Davro to acrobatic vocalists bad tenors groups. The late night entertainment was occasionally hit and miss. Some nights the nightclub has a "silent disco" which seemed a bit odd but there was always plenty of other things around the ship to do.. The food was great, whilst most people headed to the windjammer for breakfast I opted for the much quieter and alfresco dining choice of mini bites one deck below which surprisingly most people didn't discover until later in the cruise. The lunch choices at the park cafe were amazing. I had the voom stream Internet package which remained connected throughout my stay onboard with no problems and I used the Royal IQ app to make and change reservations and bookings or just plan with the calendar option. Once the second shows like Columbus and i-skate are added this is going to be one ship hard to beat on entertainment! I'm back onboard in September to see just how great it will get. Staff as always wonderful and nice to talk to and couldn't fault the service whichever bar I went to, Read Less

Right let’s get this straight, The ship was 99.999% finished so everyone stop bloody moaning about everything. Get a life. We did not have a problem with anything at all, sure people moan about something that will come back on because someone has had to turn something off for a short time. Me and my 4 mates loved every minute of the cruise, the ship was awesome and all the staff were just as good. The food was outstanding and the service was just as good everywhere around the ship. We had a really good cruise because we did not spend the whole time at guest services moaning and trying to get something back. I spoke to a couple who were in their 70s and they were complaining the water slides were closed.Yeah right as if they would have used them anyway. Let’s move on, Its awesome ship and it has it all. On the plus side, there were more shows/entertainment/music venues which is why the rating of 9 vs a 7. The only option for solo cruisers to meet were not honored/recognized by staff so we didn't even get admitted due to families taking up the tables in the Rising Tide bar. The Staff was still pretty amazing everywhere, and you didn't have to wait for a drink anywhere for more than a few minutes. We had a cabin overlooking Central Park which was very nice. Housekeeping was phenomenal as usual. In all fairness, this is probably a great family cruise but not so much for singles & friends. It was nice to see once though. Read Less

Normally we cruise on the smaller ships. Now 70+ cruises under our belt. Because of all the TV advertising of the Harmony we decided to give it a try. Our cabin was on deck 3 cabin 3654 next to the elevator right below where you board. It was a perfect location. When you exit the ship in port, you return and go up an escalator , yes escalator. Where does it take you. About 50 feet from our state room. How nice. If you think it is like a mall, it is. The boardwalk was tranquil and so very nice. The shows were all excellent. The comedian stunk. Old jokes. The juggler was so, so. All the trivia was excellent. All the small gatherings were excellent. They had a copy of the Family Feud called the Friendly Feud. it was also excellent. I have no idea why some say it was super crowded. it was not even close to that. We had on board 6100 guests not including the thousand of employees. All are mostly scattered throughout the ship. The only time there was any crowd was when the had a show in the middle of the ship. Everyone wanted to watch. Big deal. Even with that, it was not bad at all. Never any pushing or shoving. Everyone could not have been any nicer or helpful. Just excellent. Now for the food. After 70+ cruises we almost never go to the dining room. The buffet is for us. We were told as for the guests thy had over 60 different nationalities on board. The buffet reflect it. They had just about anything you could think of. Always the perfect temperature. The food was nothing but excellent. Example, On Carnival if you want a chocolate covered strawberry you buy it. If you want carrot cake, you buy it. On here they were walking around giving them to anyone. The strawberries were gigantic and available most all the time. With or without chocolate. How about fresh make crepes. When was the last time you had those. Yes they had several fruits for them. All fresh. I love mashed potatoes. Not only did they have them everyday for lunch and dinner. They were perfectly made. How about this. We were told if you check out the dining room menu and you see something on it they did not have at the buffet. They will get it for you. WoW! Found that out when I saw a person with a New York strip and wanted to know were they were. I only have one negative thing and that is our preference, really nothing against the ship. We like sitting in the cassino and looking out while enjoying a drink. Not on the Harmony. You can see out only in the dining rooms or the buffet or just go out on an upper deck. That is it. Otherwise. I totally recommend you go on the oasis class ships. The new Symphony will probable be even better. Normally onj the 6th evening we start to slow up and are ready to debark. Not this time. The week flew by so fast. So much to see and do. I could go on and on. Do it, you will love it. Loke going to Vegas and seeing the shows, like going to a beautiful mall, like going to exquisite restaurants and other locations. Super nice and big casino. Did I mention, awesome for the younger people. Kids and teenagers. So fantastic for them. Happy sailing :-) Read Less

I would highly recommend this cruise to others. The entertainment was very good. It was always easy to find something fun to do even when the weather wasn't good. The first few days were stormy so the ship rocked back and forth more than I thought it would being such a big ship. We had a really good time at all the ports participating in royal caribbean excursions. The main dinning room food needs improvement but there are other food options on board for additional charges that were delicious. The bartenders and wait staff were on top of everything. They were also very friendly and started good conversation. The fitness area was too small for the number of people on board. It was always too busy to do anything. Cozumel was a blast. The beach was beautiful. I would highly recommend the playa mia shore excursion in Cozumel. For only 50 dollars you get to swim, snorkel, kayak, and play on a beach water park in beautiful waters. Harmony of the Seas currently been the largest cruise ship at sea. Its size offers the best overall experiences at sea. The food at Central park is amazing; you can get to try them with a dining package which is a decent deal. Main dining room however can be crowded and the personalized service is not really possible. Cabin is very good; the attendant is very friendly, helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make sure you get everything you wanted. Shops has many choice for gifts and duty free as such. The flowrider and zipline is awesome along with the abyss slide. Central park is on of the best area if you are going on a romantic cruise. Boardwalk is perfect for family with young children. The bar and adult area is perfect for anyone who simply wants some quiet time. The internet onboard is the fast I've used on any cruise ship; however please note the different option of surf vs surf+stream the price is a little different too. Be sure to do your reservation on any activity as early as possible! Overall the ship is one of the best at sea worth cruising with! Happy sailing! Read Less

Went with VTG singles group. Was on deck 6, which had the spa/gym fwd, boardwalk aft. It was great. Carousel, restaurants, rock climbing and the aqua shows at the boardwalk. Elevators got crowded at times and so did the buffet. Did find a nice buffet for breakfast in the adult area with 6 hot tubs I would get my fruit from after an omelet & coffee at Johnny Rocket's in the Boardwalk. Central Park on deck 8 also had a complimentary restaurant for quick snacks. Top decks had zipline, 2 wave riders, miniature golf, table tennis, pools, 10 story Abyss tub slide and probably more I forgot! They let you reserve most of the shows online to beat the crowds (close to 6,000 people). There's 2 times a day they let people ice skate in studio B for half an hour, I understand you'll need to sign up for your time. I'm not a picky eater, but the dinning room had a great buffet for lunch/dinner with great chocolate things. Friday night's prime rib was cut with a fork! Read Less

Harmony of the Seas, currently the largest ship at sea, is the perfect cruise for people who are easily bored. It has a huge variety of activities and very good entertainment. It truly is a resort unto itself. Getting off at the ports is a completely optional experience. PRO: This is a ship for those with multiple age groups and activity levels in their party. The halls are wide enough for scooters and those with mobility challenges; while two flowriders, a zip line, mini-golf, ice skating, 17 story slides, and more, keep those who are active busy. The ship is ENORMOUS or GINORMOUS as my 14 year old would say. She was impressed with the size of the kids club and said the other kids were very nice. The gym is larger than many back at home and the service staff was always cordial. This is a great ship for a conference, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome; yet the ship was large enough that the other passengers didn't even know that we were onboard. The cabins are average size but the closets are very well thought out. The entertainment, especially Grease and the Fine Line were some of the best I've ever seen at sea. There is always a buzz around the ship of various bands, etc. We liked the escape room too. CONS: The regular dinning venues are mediocre at best. This is a ship where I would HIGHLY recommend the speciality dinning. The Wonderland and Park 150 were good. We often ate at the free Park Cafe for breakfast and the Solarium for dinner. The main dinning room was pretty much inedible. It is a ship for drinking. Although this isn't a con, it is something to know if you are a non-drinker. Also, the Casino reeks of smoke, so much that we never went through nor played. The bathrooms, while well configured are small with only one plug in the ceiling. Also, they do NOT give you: shampoo, conditioner, or lotion; just a 2 in one canister adhered to the shower. The various venues in the ship always have music, this can be great but isn't always the most relaxing. There really isn't a place for "quite and calm" if you are trying to get away from it all. Also, because the ship is so big, one doesn't really feel the movement. This can be good for some people; however, I like to feel the ship move. Would I go again? Yes with a group. I think this is a perfect ship for either conventions or multi-age groups. There is certainly something WOW for everyone. Read Less

I have sailed on many cruise lines, and Royal Caribbean is one of my favorites. However, I would only go on the Harmony of the Seas one time. It is great to experience such a large boat, but it did not have some of the things I liked on smaller ships. For example, reservations were needed for EVERYTHING. Grease, The Fine Line, and the ice skating shows were done unbelievably well. Columbus and the other aqua show were supposed to be comedies, but they seem to be for younger children. The humor is random and childish. However, we didn't have a show we could go to every night because of reservations. This is the largest thing I disliked about the cruise. On other ships, my family and I have been able to attend a show every night without reservations, whether they be dancing shows or plays. I enjoyed having that. I understand why they don't do it, and that is because of the sheer amount of people, but I still missed that. Also, My Time Dining was unsatisfactory. We still had to wait to eat because reservations were made for the whole week by other guests. The excursions were amazing, and there always seemed to be seats at the pool (party of 2). Our cabin was always maintained, and the crew was friendly. It was crazy that every time we came back to the room, even in the middle of the day, our cabin was clean. The staff is very friendly, and they seem to always know the answers. We would ask people questions unrelated to their specific job, but they still knew where to point us, and that was very nice. There were many amenities on this cruise for kids, and for adults as well. The water slides were popular with the kids, as well as the ice cream machine. The cruise director was phenomenal and hosted many events across the ship. He was hilarious and personable, and he was able to make the crowd laugh when the moment could have been awkward. On a different note, the excursions were great! We went on the Rainbow Reef Snorkel in Nassau and the Mt. Liamuiga Volcano Hike in St. Kitts. We initially were unsure about the Rainbow Reef Snorkel because of the lack of pictures or proper reviews on it, however, we found that it was quite satisfactory. There were many rock and coral formations to look at and dive down to. There were tons of fish because they chum the water, but it was still nice to have things to look at. If you got away from the people a little bit, you saw more fish doing natural things. It was very nice. The hike in St. Kitts was the best excursion that I have ever done. I love doing strenuous things outdoors, as I often participate in mud runs (Spartan Races, Tough Mudders, etc.), so this was right up my alley. It was a very strenuous hike, and their aren't many breaks. You are in groups of about 12, and, at one point, we had to scramble over the rocks to get to the summit. It was 2000ft in about 2 1/2 hours, so if you are not fit, I do not suggest this excursion. It is definitely not one for pictures and sight seeing until you get to the top. Honestly, my descent was more of an uncoordinated slide down the mountain. I thought it was so fun, and the group I was in also loved it. Most also said they had wished they had brought an old pair of sneakers though. Overall, I really enjoyed this cruise, and it met and exceeded almost all of my expectations. The embarkation and disembarkation all went smoothly, but my family and I live in Florida, so we just drove ourselves and took care of our own luggage. It was a great experience, and I highly recommend it. Read Less

My husband and I chose this cruise because we wanted to experience a large ship cruise. Our only disappointments were the lack of anything decent to watch on TV before going to bed, no ice routinely in our cabin. Our balcony cabin was sleek and modern. The ship itself is really nice with so many modern features. The Wi-Fi was the best we ever had on a ship, even though it was slow at times. The shows were amazing! The ship didn't really feel crowded, I was surprised. While I think there were not as many things on the dinner menu, it was adequate. Other dining spots were very nice. Best buffet at sea so far. I was not really impressed with Sabor but it was good too. The Solarium Bistro was very nice, especially the appetizers. The lunch in American Icon was outstanding with choices of your choice in on a salad bar, buffet, or order from the menu or a combination of all the choices. That buffet was beyond outstanding - 5 stars! We enjoyed the excursions we went on in Jamaica and Haiti, we did not go on an excursion in Cozumel. Read Less

Just completed my ninth cruise overall and my first as a solo cruiser. Was very disappointed at the solo gathering. No one showed up the first gathering. At the the first solo and and single lunch two other people showed up (Roy and Sara). Sara was delightful. Never say Roy again. This Asthmatic hated the smoking in the Casino. This is a problem across all Cruise Lines (except Disney (no Casino)). Royal Caribbean is a more laid back atmosphere that Holland America. I believe they are trying to compete with Carnival. The food (in the main dining room) and entertainment is on par with Carnival. If you can afford it, I recommend that you buy the Key package (to get reserved seating section at the shows and the Speciality Dining package. Recommended Shows: The Fine Line (Aqua Show) Headliners: Revoiced Columbus the Musical Was turned off by the hard sell tactics after my massage. Not going to book spa treatments anymore on any future cruises, The beverage packages were a nice feature on Royal Caribbean, I would have liked to have had that on other cruise lines. Bottom Line: If you want a ver casual cruising environment, Royal Caribbean is recommended. If you're looking for something a little more elegant, try a different Cruise Line. Read Less
