Service by crew members was exceptional. Disembarkment could have been better. A lot of confusion . Windjammer had great assortment of food but crowded no matter when you ate. Entertainment forms to suit everyone. Statement staff could not have been better. Cabin could use more outlets ( especially one in bathroom). Our Waiter in dining room was great. Only bad thing about Labadee was constantly being bothered to purchase services or items. Of course pools can be crowded and deck chairs at a premium. Never seen so many empty toweled chairs. In order to do every activity and see all the entertainment offered you would probably need another 7 days. If you have children this would be a very good cruise for them. A ton of things for them to do. Pools, slides, tennis court, miniature golf, ping pong tables and much more. All in all a good time for our group of 20. Read Less

This was our first Presidents Cruise and if I could only cruise once a year I would pick this cruise. The entertainment, food and general overall atmosphere was wonderful! The only drawback is the sheer number of high-level crown and anchor members aboard, this limits the number of extras those in lower levels get, you still get to attend things , but maybe not in person it may be at the Aqua theater or Studio B. In terms of things to do - one could not attend every event but the opportunity to try was there. My only criticism in the negative is that the staff was pulled in many directions with the corporate CEOs aboard and service in the dining areas for breakfast and lunch needs attention. Harmony is a huge ship and for those with disabilities, the wait time to go from floor to floor with elevators can take time. Despite any negatives, this was the best I have taken in a long time already booked for next year! Read Less

We chose Harmony of the Seas because of the amenities and size of the ship. I didn’t even feel the ship rocking once. They have good stabilizers on the ship. My husband gets very seasick on cruises but he didn’t need to take his medicine once. There was so much to do on this ship. We enjoyed our nightly entertainment including the Columbus musical and the Grease musical. We missed the ice skating show but I heard it was fantastic. The water show was amazing. We did the escape the rubicon experience which was really fun and brought us closer with other people on the cruise ship. We beat it with two minutes to spare. There was so much to do but we probably did about 1/3 of the activities that were offered. I can’t wait to return to the Harmony to continue to explore what she has to offer. Read Less

We are return cruisers with Royal Caribbean, and has yet another amazing experience. Everything from the waitstaff to the port experiences were beyond incredible. We thoroughly enjoyed our Central Park Balcony Stateroom and all of the services we experienced during the week. The bartenders, dining room waitstaff, stateroom attendants, spa staff, activities staff, and the overall ship was an unforgettable experience. We had a great time at Royal Caribbean’s Labadee, Haití port. It was very updated and easily accessible for everyone who disembarked the ship. The disembarkation and re embarkation processes were very organized and smooth at each port. In addition, the Falmouth, Jamaica and Cozumel, Mexico ports were just as enjoyable. We were with a large travel group not directly affiliated with Royal Caribbean, but long-time travelers with the the cruise line. Through our private group, we took excursions in Jamaica and Mexico, which we really enjoyed. Overall, I will always recommend Royal Caribbean to those interested in cruising. We are already planning our next cruise with Royal Caribbean! Read Less

The best cruise ship in the whole world. I love Royal Harmony of the Sea. Excellent service at the main dinning room especially wait staffs and the host members at the main dinning room. Flexible my time dinning. Lots and lots of great activities that are going on during my seven days cruising that start from early morning until late at night. Great customer service. Many different shore excursions to choose. My wife and kid are really enjoyed this seven days cruise trip. We have met a new group of friends and had a great time party onboard. We would love to go cruising with Royal Caribbean Harmony of the Sea again. Thank you for all the hard working crew staffs on Harmony of the Sea. Read Less

I chose this cruise based on great feed back from a good friend and she was the best travel agent every through xtreme travel . I loved the ship activities and fine dining. The guest service personnel can be better with billing however overall decent experience. I love the room service Yopi was great and dining server Melissa Jackson was awesome as well #! Over my family friends and I had a great time . Would do it again :) The ports of calls was great and things were conveniently located from and back to ship . The deals we got were great and rock bottom. The only thing with islanders they were a little agressive on their selling tactics but manageable. The free give aways were great but a little time consuming. The shows were awesome with the cruise director he was funny as well. Overall #awesome deal :) Read Less

SERVICE - 8.5/10 Overall, the service was exceptional. Some higher demand areas needs improvement but overall, really really impressive. Many workers are from countries with very demanding work ethics and that shows in how they present themselves. Great job! FOOD - 8.5/10 We had the ultimate dining package. To us, it was worth it. Because the free food is generally a hit but some misses. The specialty restaurants were a great experience generally but not made all equal. Jamie's Italian and Izumi were the best. If you think Italian is just Italian, you'll be shocked. ACTIVITIES - 9/10 So much to do on this ship! You can definitely spend all 7 days on the ship and barely get familiar with it all. It was a lot to take in but they organized it pretty well with the daily newsletters. ALCOHOL - 9/10 Loved the Deluxe package. Do not skimp on the drinks and a lot of variety. CABIN - 9/10 Excellent attendant, clean, and sizeable. My ONLY gripe on this whole ship is that they have short toilets, but not a biggie- just a first world preference. PORTS - 8/10 Ports were generally clean and well laid out. Definitely can tell it has RC all over it, but it was enjoyable. Overall, this was an amazing experience. Highly recommended ship. So much to do that can cater to everyone, it is a ship definitely worth cruising. Such great service from majority and impressive shows/events. The restaurants are hit or miss but majority are good. My wife and I decided to book a cruise on one of the biggest cruise ship. I also picked Royal Caribbean due to the great experience we had before. Harmony of the Seas was a very nice and huge ship, but also because of the big ship means more passengers and less service. Services at the retails such as Focus (photos) was lacking due to the amount of people and not enough terminals to view and purchase the photos. The staff at Focus were not really friendly or helpful, they were overwhelmed and did not know how to handle it. The customer service staff did not have the "I am here to make your experience great" attitude that my wife and I have seen on the other RCCL ships. They also lost $150 worth of liqueur bought at port and took 8 hours (2am) to decide to refund me. Other than that, our wait staff at the main dining for dinner (Head Waiter-Ronald Limpin, Asst. Waiter-Joseph Revellame) was awesome. They were very attentive and had great attitude. In summary, if you like attentiveness and great service from the customer service staff or retail staffs, I would not recommend Harmony of the Seas or any ships this size for a cruise. I think the Oasis fleets would be the biggest size I would ever cruise on. Read Less

Flew in from Newark the night before, embarkation went smoothly, our junior deluxe suite was fabulous with a walk in closet, balcony, complimentary Moët Chandon champagne and lovely toiletries. The only issue was the shower door. It covered only half the tub. We were careful yet the floor was quite wet after showering, one had to squish to stand on top of the drain to try and keep the shower water from splashing outside. Seriously, needs addressing. After speaking with guest services and our lovely stateroom attendant ‘Leeshell’ we realized there was nothing else we could do. There were a lot of people onboard; a bit crowded. Finding your way around was challenging at first, learning port, aft, forward etc helped tremendously, finding a crew member always solved direction issues. One learned how important washing hands is. KUDOS to Royal Caribbean! We were fortunate to dine in a different venue each evening which was great and entertaining. The Windjammer though very crowded always had a large selection of food for breakfast/lunch. May I suggest adding Greek yogurt for those who can not tolerate regular yogurt? Also, having a selection of nuts would compliment any meal. The smoking section near the pool should be well marked especially for those trying to avoid it. The entertainment was out of this world; absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, there wasn’t enough time to do everything; there’s always next time! Really enjoyed and took advantage of the great sales on cruise wear, handbags and watches, thank you! Each and every server and attendant was most helpful in every situation except the shower door issue. Cleanliness was a priority and it was evident everywhere. A suggestion for after disembarkation: please have the restrooms on your pier cleaned and with toilet paper, we had issues leaving Saturday. One really notices the difference after being on the cleanest ship. Nassau Bahamas wasn’t inviting, we walked on our own, St Thomas was cleaner. Again, we tried touring alone. We had inquired several times on the ship and were assured the tram was open to take us to the top for a spectacular view of the ship. Unfortunately, the tram was closed due to hurricane damage several months earlier. Please advise future guests. We contracted a tour guide who gave us an excellent education while driving us around for two hours. Eating locally was fun, shopping was good. On St Kitts the shopping was great! A gentleman with monkeys dared to place one in my arms and proceeded to take pictures using our cellphones, before the third person we inquired how much-$10/person, we stopped him and paid the $20. Pictures came out great but $ should have been mentioned first. Again, we contracted a tour guide for an hour who was at least a $100 cheaper than going through Royal Caribbean. Onboard on our last two sea days there were bargains; cruise wear, handbags and watches to name a few. Fortunately, there was time for me to package and mail my items, suitcase was overweight for flight home. May I suggest you offer to mail within the USA. It would encourage more shopping. The track on Deck 5 was the best allowing one to walk the perimeter of the ship showing great views. The children running around wasn’t the best, I believe you encourage families which is great though it’d be nice to have separate accommodating cruises. TCM chartered the Disney Fantasy in Nov 2016 where there were very few children and approximately 2400 passengers; a comfortable amount of guests. Definitely would go again to other ports checking ratio of adults to children. We had an excellent time and thank you for doing such a great job! Also enjoyed ‘my time dining’. Read Less

The food was amazing the entertainment was Las Vegas worthy the staff was so kind, warm and caring. You could tell that they truly loved their jobs. We visited the spa one morning and was giving the most amazing couples massage. We definitely will cruise again with Royal Caribbean. The entire ship was so clean everywhere from the restrooms to the elevators. The embarkation process was smooth, quick and effortless. We are looking forward to many many more cruises. Another impressive feature of the ship was the medical facility. We did not have children with us but if we had younguns they would have had a blast also. Get the ultimate dinning package. It was well worth it! We are so well! If you have a chance to do chefs table, I definitely would. There was plenty to do on board. The entertainment was fantastic. Make sure you go to the fine line and grease. For how many people were on board it didn’t feel crowded. They handle the amount of people very well. The only place you felt the crowd was waiting for the elevators. The only critique I have is the sauna package was a little under wellming. Our balcony stateroom was kept very clean. And the staff is extremely friendly. I would recommend the ultimate dinning package and the ultimate drink package. We ate at a nice restaurant every night and every sea day for lunch. We didn’t have to deal with the crowds. Well worth it. Make sure you reserve your restaurants and entertainment when you arrive on board. Read Less

Super great service and extremely nice people. We did not explore the departure city before the cruise, but the next time we will do so. The embarkation and disembarkation went extremely smooth in comparison to other cruises we have went on. We were immense with the cruise liner and all the many great ventures to explore on the ship like the "Central Park" area. It is an amazing ideal to have a park theme on the ship. Therefore, it was very hard to miss being away from home. There was plenty of fun and interesting entertainment such as live jazz & reggae bands and other activities for everyone to enjoy. At each port, we did Shore excursions which were well planned and engaging for my 14-year-old daughter and my 21 yr. old niece. They really enjoyed the shows on board, especially Grease as well as watching the movies. There were many things for them to enjoy, but importantly, they enjoyed the late night pizza shop staying open until 3:00 am. What a perfect "Spring Break" for my daughter and niece. I was cruising one week on the HARMONY and then transferring for one week on the FREEDOM (separate critique to follow). This review is for the HARMONY. Embarkation was very slow; there were only two attendants working the Diamond Plus, Pinnacle and Suite levels. Eventually, a third attendant came to help with the growing queue. Once onboard however, the service was excellent. Our waiter in the main dining room was always attentive and our table was always ready. The food was tasty, attractively served and presented in a very timely manner. The entertainment was a bit of a 'mish-mash'. Royal's shows were excellent but the 'headliners' left a lot to be desired. Both ice shows were very well done; highly energetic and most entertaining. The comedians in the Attic were both poor. I had seen them both perform many times and their material is exactly the same now as it was then. Shame! The ventriloquist I have also seen a few times and his material (although entertaining) was not updated either. Double shame! Maybe these people don't realize that there are regular cruisers on board and these guest artistes need to update their material on a regular basis. The Fine Line Aqua show featured high-fliers, stunts and acrobatics and was fantastic to watch. Grease and Columbus were both performed well. The activities were diverse and fun to watch and take part in. I booked the Galley Tour, the Theatre Tour and the Bridge Tour, which were all scheduled for the same day. However, all three were excellently managed, most informative and conducted on time. Labadee, Haiti and Cozumel were as nice as always. This ship is very much geared towards families and children so if you have kids and are looking for a fun-filled, exciting and yet relaxing cruise, this is the ship for you. In short, the service was excellent, the headliners could be better, the activities were entertaining and the Casino staff were the absolute best; kudos to Adrian Stroe (Host) and Michael (Slot Manager). Just finished a 7 nighter on Harmony Of The Seas. This ship is HUGE! 6500 passengers and I never felt crowded-in anywhere on the ship. So many attractions, shows, shops, restaurants, etc that it's impossible to see it all on one trip. Spent most of my time relaxing in the Solarium. There was a restaurant attached to the Solarium as well as a bar. Very convenient!! We had an outboard cabin with a balcony that had plenty of room for everything. Beds were comfortable and the shower stall was bigger than normal. The bathroom even had its own nightlight! I do recommend bringing a nightlight to plug into the vanity. The vanity had numerous outlets as well as a couple of USB ports to charge devices. One side of the bed had an outlet too. The rooms were on the warm side so if you like to sleep in a cold room you might have a problem. Not too bad but definitely warmer than usual. The room attendant was amazing and saw to our every need. If you get Gede, you're in for some great service. The wait staff in the Main Dining Room was awesome too. Arvin and Ace did an amazing job. The food was excellent too. As soon as your drink was low, another arrived. Our last night we ate at Jamie's Italian and boy was that a treat. Our waitress Vatina was incredible!!! Her recommendations were spot on. The food was out of this world but Vatina really made the experience worthwhile. Highly recommend this establishment. On a recommendation, we went to the House of Rajah in St. Thomas and we were not disappointed!! They were not only very accommodating but their prices were fair too. Definitely our jeweler in St. Thomas!! We enjoyed San Juan. Been there before but it was just nice to stroll the streets of Old San Juan. Labadee was very relaxing. We rented one of the beach cabanas for the day. Unfortunately we walked through a monsoon to get there but that was no big deal. We're swimming anyway!!! The cabanas were nice after we dried them off. Our attendants were very pleasant but not very attentive. The advertisement indicated that you'd have your own attendant when in reality there were 2 for all cabanas. I believe that there were 8-10 total. The day in Labadee was very relaxing. The only downside on this cruise with the onboard internet connection called VOOM. It worked well on my iPhone X but it never did work right on my wife's iPad. It kept kicking her off at random times and we could not log back in. We even tried to restart the network connections and ultimately the entire device but to no avail. The ship tried to help but eventually blamed it on the device. Well when we returned to Port Everglades, the iPad worked as advertised. Really couldn't determine what the problem was but it definitely wasn't worth the price. This was an excellent cruise and I can't wait to see what we come up with for next year!!! Read Less

I was planning a family vacation for my younger sister and elderly parents but I didn't know what to do. A cruise turned out to be a great idea. This is the world's largest ship and it has activities for my introverted family. The family was able to watch shows and dinner together. We also were able to do our own activities in the day time. I enjoyed the ping pong tournaments, the Abyss slide, the three water slides and the high quality performance shows. The only criticism I would have is that I thought there should have been more activities. For example, the volleyball contest got cancelled due to rain but was never reschedule. I also wished there was a tour of the boat or kitchen area. I didn't get that in this trip. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I don't think there could have been a better idea for the family vacation. Read Less

Group of friends organized this cruisethrough travel agent. No children. Traveled to & from Ft.Lauderdale by charter bus. Interior balcony cabin, larger than anticipated. Nice, clean. Cabin steward adequate, provided daily ice upon request. Great dining at Chops and Jamie’s. Above average food in Main dining room. Some wait staff excellent, others need more training. Enjoyed Grease, evening games, and Trivia. Water show was cancelled multiple times, did not get to see. Did not enjoy ports of call or shopping. Bought nothing, due to aggressive sales practices. Unable to utilize pool areas fully, as chairs were reserved with towels prior to7a.m., and left in place all day on cruising days. Casino needs ventilation: many refused to walk through it due to the heavy smoke-filled air. The company lost money by not addressing this; not all gamblers want to smell like smoke. Pleasant environment except for this. Nightly music and dancing lots of fun. Would consider going again, but not to these ports:Labadee; Falmouth, Jamaica; or Cancun, Mexico. Read Less

Our NC Realtors group chose this cruise to include Continuing Education classes during the days at Sea. The food choices, not including the buffet, were fantastic. The Harmony was clean and well-staffed. The spa was good, although the spa staff must be trained to upsale every service and product. I didn't like the high pressure for each massage, facial, hair salon, etc...to buy more products or upgrade the services. My favorite day was the Mayan Ruins because the tour guide, Jose, and his tour bus driver took really good care of our group by providing headphones that connected to electronic tablets with information, as well as headphones on the guided tour. They provided cold drinks to and from the 2 hr bus trip, which was welcomed on a hot February day. Normally we cruise on the smaller ships. Now 70+ cruises under our belt. Because of all the TV advertising of the Harmony we decided to give it a try. Our cabin was on deck 3 cabin 3654 next to the elevator right below where you board. It was a perfect location. When you exit the ship in port, you return and go up an escalator , yes escalator. Where does it take you. About 50 feet from our state room. How nice. If you think it is like a mall, it is. The boardwalk was tranquil and so very nice. The shows were all excellent. The comedian stunk. Old jokes. The juggler was so, so. All the trivia was excellent. All the small gatherings were excellent. They had a copy of the Family Feud called the Friendly Feud. it was also excellent. I have no idea why some say it was super crowded. it was not even close to that. We had on board 6100 guests not including the thousand of employees. All are mostly scattered throughout the ship. The only time there was any crowd was when the had a show in the middle of the ship. Everyone wanted to watch. Big deal. Even with that, it was not bad at all. Never any pushing or shoving. Everyone could not have been any nicer or helpful. Just excellent. Now for the food. After 70+ cruises we almost never go to the dining room. The buffet is for us. We were told as for the guests thy had over 60 different nationalities on board. The buffet reflect it. They had just about anything you could think of. Always the perfect temperature. The food was nothing but excellent. Example, On Carnival if you want a chocolate covered strawberry you buy it. If you want carrot cake, you buy it. On here they were walking around giving them to anyone. The strawberries were gigantic and available most all the time. With or without chocolate. How about fresh make crepes. When was the last time you had those. Yes they had several fruits for them. All fresh. I love mashed potatoes. Not only did they have them everyday for lunch and dinner. They were perfectly made. How about this. We were told if you check out the dining room menu and you see something on it they did not have at the buffet. They will get it for you. WoW! Found that out when I saw a person with a New York strip and wanted to know were they were. I only have one negative thing and that is our preference, really nothing against the ship. We like sitting in the cassino and looking out while enjoying a drink. Not on the Harmony. You can see out only in the dining rooms or the buffet or just go out on an upper deck. That is it. Otherwise. I totally recommend you go on the oasis class ships. The new Symphony will probable be even better. Normally onj the 6th evening we start to slow up and are ready to debark. Not this time. The week flew by so fast. So much to see and do. I could go on and on. Do it, you will love it. Loke going to Vegas and seeing the shows, like going to a beautiful mall, like going to exquisite restaurants and other locations. Super nice and big casino. Did I mention, awesome for the younger people. Kids and teenagers. So fantastic for them. Happy sailing :-) Read Less

Although before departing, we were not overly thrilled with the itinerary of the cruise, we actually were stunned and pleasantly surprised, impressed, and very pleased. Our room, suite 1764 was like none I’ve ever experienced. I’ve done 33 cruises in my lifetime. Most of them in suites. I’ve never been more thrilled with the suite, service, concierge, staff, and crew, as I have on this RCI cruise, btw this was out first on RCI. Excellent, excellent, excellent, does not do them justice. The last night of the cruise, we hosted a farewell party in our suite. There was enough room to accommodate everyone that attended, and the staff from the Coastal Kitchen which is exclusively for suite guests, put on a spread of snacks for our guests that was to die for! Without hesitation, we will be back. I have been very loyal to another cruise line for years. Our first cruise with RCI and the Harmony of the Seas experience may have changed all of that forever! This was my first Atlantis charter gay cruise. I was leery about the size of the ship, but I never felt it too large. There are so many areas to hang out, lots of smaller eating venues, that usually there were no lineups. I particularly enjoyed the calm and quietness of Central Park, with the lovely Park Cafe - a good spot for breakfast (hot sandwiches but no omelette station here) or lunch (soup and salad, either prepared or made to order) and a hot sandwich choice too. There was even hardly any lineup for Guest Services towards the end of the cruise! The regular RCL show Grease was really good and the ice show 1887 was phenomenal; Columbus the musical was a piece of fluff, but it was supposed to be a parody. The parade down the Promenade would be enjoyable for families. Overall, I enjoyed this size of ship, even without partaking in all of the special activities like mini golf, the Abyss slide, the water slides, the rock wall, and probably others I have forgotten! This would be a great ship for families, with lots to do for all! Read Less

I would highly recommend this cruise to others. The entertainment was very good. It was always easy to find something fun to do even when the weather wasn't good. The first few days were stormy so the ship rocked back and forth more than I thought it would being such a big ship. We had a really good time at all the ports participating in royal caribbean excursions. The main dinning room food needs improvement but there are other food options on board for additional charges that were delicious. The bartenders and wait staff were on top of everything. They were also very friendly and started good conversation. The fitness area was too small for the number of people on board. It was always too busy to do anything. Cozumel was a blast. The beach was beautiful. I would highly recommend the playa mia shore excursion in Cozumel. For only 50 dollars you get to swim, snorkel, kayak, and play on a beach water park in beautiful waters.
