I love RC but this was not a hip or fun cruise ... not many single or youn adult things. The nightlife was awful and boring. The comedian was the same every day unlike others that changed them in port of calls the casino was smoky even on non smoking side and the robot who made drinks was awful. They need to remove that Robot.. get happy bartenders and add a martini bar or something else. The food was marginal and need more 24 or til midnight options.. it would be great if they had more open venues as all of the shows were booked day 1 and it was impossible to see shows with NO options. This was sad I was happy with the dinner staff and variety but if you sat diwn for breakfast in dining area it was the same daily... sadly they did not change daily. We needed variety. It forces you to the buffet when the choice is limited. It was terrible Read Less

I picked Harmony because I wanted the biggest and best ship to take my Teens on. They had the time of their lives on the ship, made lots of friends and wore themselves out daily. The boarding on and off the ship was extremely quick. The staff is the most polite and helpful I have ever seen on a ship. The food, wasn't the best I have ever had but there was plenty of options and the lines were not too terribly long. I can't imagine cooking for 6800 passengers though so I didn't focus much on eating. I enjoyed the track around the lower deck and went to the gym a few times, both are very nice. My spa experience was nice however I didn't like trying to be sold products right afterwards. I'd say the only downfall of the ship is that the solarium didn't have a pool and that shade is limited on the pool decks. We were planning our next trip on Harmony before even leaving the ship! I was planning a family vacation for my younger sister and elderly parents but I didn't know what to do. A cruise turned out to be a great idea. This is the world's largest ship and it has activities for my introverted family. The family was able to watch shows and dinner together. We also were able to do our own activities in the day time. I enjoyed the ping pong tournaments, the Abyss slide, the three water slides and the high quality performance shows. The only criticism I would have is that I thought there should have been more activities. For example, the volleyball contest got cancelled due to rain but was never reschedule. I also wished there was a tour of the boat or kitchen area. I didn't get that in this trip. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I don't think there could have been a better idea for the family vacation. Read Less

This was my first Atlantis charter gay cruise. I was leery about the size of the ship, but I never felt it too large. There are so many areas to hang out, lots of smaller eating venues, that usually there were no lineups. I particularly enjoyed the calm and quietness of Central Park, with the lovely Park Cafe - a good spot for breakfast (hot sandwiches but no omelette station here) or lunch (soup and salad, either prepared or made to order) and a hot sandwich choice too. There was even hardly any lineup for Guest Services towards the end of the cruise! The regular RCL show Grease was really good and the ice show 1887 was phenomenal; Columbus the musical was a piece of fluff, but it was supposed to be a parody. The parade down the Promenade would be enjoyable for families. Overall, I enjoyed this size of ship, even without partaking in all of the special activities like mini golf, the Abyss slide, the water slides, the rock wall, and probably others I have forgotten! This would be a great ship for families, with lots to do for all! Read Less

Harmony of the Seas, currently the largest ship at sea, is the perfect cruise for people who are easily bored. It has a huge variety of activities and very good entertainment. It truly is a resort unto itself. Getting off at the ports is a completely optional experience. PRO: This is a ship for those with multiple age groups and activity levels in their party. The halls are wide enough for scooters and those with mobility challenges; while two flowriders, a zip line, mini-golf, ice skating, 17 story slides, and more, keep those who are active busy. The ship is ENORMOUS or GINORMOUS as my 14 year old would say. She was impressed with the size of the kids club and said the other kids were very nice. The gym is larger than many back at home and the service staff was always cordial. This is a great ship for a conference, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome; yet the ship was large enough that the other passengers didn't even know that we were onboard. The cabins are average size but the closets are very well thought out. The entertainment, especially Grease and the Fine Line were some of the best I've ever seen at sea. There is always a buzz around the ship of various bands, etc. We liked the escape room too. CONS: The regular dinning venues are mediocre at best. This is a ship where I would HIGHLY recommend the speciality dinning. The Wonderland and Park 150 were good. We often ate at the free Park Cafe for breakfast and the Solarium for dinner. The main dinning room was pretty much inedible. It is a ship for drinking. Although this isn't a con, it is something to know if you are a non-drinker. Also, the Casino reeks of smoke, so much that we never went through nor played. The bathrooms, while well configured are small with only one plug in the ceiling. Also, they do NOT give you: shampoo, conditioner, or lotion; just a 2 in one canister adhered to the shower. The various venues in the ship always have music, this can be great but isn't always the most relaxing. There really isn't a place for "quite and calm" if you are trying to get away from it all. Also, because the ship is so big, one doesn't really feel the movement. This can be good for some people; however, I like to feel the ship move. Would I go again? Yes with a group. I think this is a perfect ship for either conventions or multi-age groups. There is certainly something WOW for everyone. Read Less

My partner and I took the first cruise out of Fort Lauderdale on this Ship for 3 days, which was amazing, and of course it would be since it was the first time it traveled in Florida. But what blew me away was we decided to do it again but this time for 7 days traveling from Fort Lauderdale to Haiti, Jamaica, and Mexico! The experience was just as amazing as the first cruise if not better. To me that shows the level of consistency and pride this company takes in there cruise line and ships! Getting on the ship was super quick, easy and convenient! We were greeted with amazing friendly staff and even on embarkation and disembarkation the music was playing as we arrived and left making it feel like we were on vacation even when leaving the ship. The ship is 10 stars beautiful. We had an ocean view balcony the first trip and this time a central park balcony! We received a free bottle of wine and a dinner in central park when we arrived, which was super cool not knowing we were getting that for free at all. Plus the room has more storage than we even needed and I even over packed haha! Its super modern compared to all other cruise line I have been on. We honestly ate at the Windjammer and had room service the entire trip its so good and convent we did not even need the dinner in the main hall this trip! But last trip it was for sure a great experience! The entertainment was above and beyond, I made it our ultimate goal to do everything on this ship this trip around (which in the end we did not even get to since there was so much to do). The play "Grease" was amazing but what really got me was the ice skating show (1887) and most importantly "Columbus" (A MUST SEE). Columbus has this old day MODERN THEME going on and it was truly original and even the staff looked like they enjoyed every second of performing on stage! We got to see puppeteers, comedians, and so much more like the late night evening game show event what the entire room of hundreds of people joined in to play the game. I have never seen an entire room with this many people get so involved in a game before i was truly impressed. The Excursions were something we normally do not do and we have take 10 plus cruises. But we were having a blast so decided lets do one every port! We were so impressed and will now do an excursion every Royal Caribbean Cruise we go on! Port 1 - Labadee, Haiti - Excursion - Dragons Flight Zip line - This Excursions started it off for us.The staff on the ISLAND which is owned by Royal Caribbean were amazing! We had this Australian Lady who was so upbeat and cool who took us from the training and practice all the way to the top and saying go. Service was outstanding! The zip line views are breathtaking and it is apparently the worlds largest zip line over water! (MUST DO THIS). Port 2 - Jamaica - Excursion - Horse back riding on trail and ocean - We have always wanted to ride horses, so that day we did and we had an amazing time. We were going thru the trails and learning how to ride horses and the sayings, we met the staff on shift who were helpful and cool. We then were taken knee deep into the turquoise color ocean waters and ran with the horses. Such an experience! Port 3 - Mexico, Cozumel - Excursion - ATV and Cave Diving - All I should say is FUN, FUN, & FUN! We were with a group of 20+ people and we all got our own ATV. We drove trough trails and to these beautiful caves and went cave diving! Well I did as well as a few others. This to us was such a bucket list kind of thing and it was great! So OVERALL this ship and and this Company are truly amazing and I already pre-booked the same exact cruise in December! Read Less
