Ship is awesome, organisation sucks

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Harmony of the Seas

Embarkation and disembarkation went very smooth and fast. The ship itself is awesome and big. There are enough things to do on board. The stateroom was big, comfortable and had enough space to put your clothes and other stuff away Dining was excelent and the food delicious. Entertainment and activities are good. Service was very poor (I had booked a stateroom decoration as a ...

It saddens me to write this review as I was hoping that people on a cruise would be nicer and civilised. It could well be a European cruise issue. Just to be clear, the staff are fine, but some of the guests are quite rude and maybe even racist. I'll start off with the positive points about the cruise. Harmony of the Seas is a modern cruise ship about 5 months old, so it makes a good ...

What a disappointment from previous RC cruises. The food quantity and selection has been cut by at least two-thirds in the Windjammer and various other places. There are not enough tables in the Windjammer on cruise days and breakfast times. People are grabbing tables and hogging them to avoid walking around with your plate in your hands. The ship itself must have been designed by someone that's ...

Worst Experience with RC

My worst experience with RC and it is our 5th time cruising with them. 1: below average services, including housekeeping and room servieces since they have not enough crew. 2: windjamer cafe is always full of people and other cafe always close when you need it. 3: people is everywehre, quene is everywehre. 4: we are not customers but only one part on their work flow. 5: too big size ...

This is my 4th Cruise vacation. Definitely, my worst experience. If this is my 1st experience, certainly I will not cruise again. Bad things: 1. Windjamer is always full. It's frustrating experience. The other options always close when you need it. 2. People everywhere. Busy, very busy. 3: We do not feel a good vibe on board. Unfortunately we are only a part of the workflow. Put ...

This was our second family cruise, though the first was a 3 day Carnival cruise to the Caribbean 10 years ago complements of my father-in-law which I understand is not in the same league as what we did. We booked one junior ocean balcony suite and one room with a balcony overlooking the carousel. I had heard a lot about crowds and poor food beforehand and I was prepared for this kind of ...

Glitz and gimmicks replace service -- so very sad.

Wanted a fun ship for the kids. My husband and I have cruised 10 times on various lines: Princess (most), other RC, Oceania, Disney, and Carnival. We have always experienced exceptional service on cruises... until this one. With 6500 passengers, they were about 800 crew short of meeting expectations (passenger to crew ratio was 3.8). Slides and rock climbing wall and others closed during parts ...

Harmony Rome/Barcelona August 2016

This review encompasses the whole experience, booking, communication, and the cruise itself. This was our 4th Med cruise with RC and we struggled a bit with finding a Med cruise that didn't replicate ports we'd already visited. We got around that by boarding at Rome instead of Barcelona, and then taking a coast tour at Florence. Great, all sorted! The online booking process direct with RC ...

Out of all our cruises, eight previous cruises in various locations, this ship had the worst service. The crew and the staff just didn't care about their customers. Minor issues, that on other cruise lines would be addressed and corrected, would be ignored. -WIFI was expensive and you had to order it for at least two days. No hourly rate, at least non that I was able to find. -Food ...
