DO NOT BOOK ROYAL CARIBBEAN

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Harmony of the Seas

This was the 9th cruise that I have taken with Royal Caribbean, and it was by far the worst. Customer service was poor since day 1. I am a Diamond member and I was not allowed to be in the “Diamond” lounge during happy hour; interesting doing this to customers that have spent tens of thousands of dollars with them. The worst part was the shore excursions booked through Royal Caribbean. All the ...

Royal Carribean has gone down in quality...disappointed. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

I've sailed Royal Caribbean multiple times in the past before the pandemic and honestly this company has gone down in quality probably due to the higher cost of everything. I recently just got off the Harmony of the Seas in November 2023 and here are the pros and cons fresh off my memory. Cons -Food in windjammer has GONE DOWN in quality. Its mostly cheap food that doesn't have much of a ...

We decided we really wanted to see what the hype was when it came to Royal and the amazing things we’ve heard from fellow cruisers and online research, boy was it a let down. For a ship this size, it has the smallest venues for restaurants and bars! We’ve been on smaller boats that have had larger venues and water view restaurants. All most all the restaurants don’t have views of the water so ...

First, for some perspective, here’s a brief summary of my cruising experiences: • 30 cruises total, including this one. Seven on RCCL. • Have cruised to the Caribbean, Panama Canal, Alaska, Mexican Riviera, North Atlantic, Bermuda, and St Lawrence River/New England. • Cruise durations ranged from 3 to 19 days. • Food variety, quality, and service are of primary importance. ...

Beautiful ship but staff needs a lot more training. Way overloaded and we got covid.

Looked like a great trip. Had done all of the paperwork and spent overnight in Cape Canaveral. Hampton there was excellent. Boarded very quickly although the staff at the desks had no organization. Still we got right on the ship and immediately the troubles started. As most are aware you really cant book anything until you are on the ship. well our app keeps telling us to go to guest relations. ...

Disappointed

Long lines, apathetic crew, mediocre to plain just bad food, drinks are just mixers, dirty plates left for hours in public/common areas, first and last Royal cruise. The activities weren’t nearly enough for this many guests. People sitting on the floor at trivia. Got the drink package, always a 30 minute line if you want a milkshake from Jonny Rockets. The cruise director seemed like he ...

Our family chose this cruise line because we have gone through it before and have really enjoyed the service and overall experience of the ship! We came to Orlando,FL a day before embarkation and stayed at The Avid Hotel which was very clean and 3 weeks new! We were told it was built with the intention of serving professionals, so I would not suggest this place with families with younger children ...

My husband and I cruise a lot. We have cruised on Carnival, MSC, Norwegian and Royal Caribbean. I think about 15 in total. We have only been on Royal Caribbean twice. This last time we went on Harmony of the Seas. The ship was beautiful but it was just another cruise ship. We did not like that we had to make reservations for the shows prior to departing. While at sea one of our shows was cancelled ...

Worst Cruise EVER

My husband and I thought that we would try something different this cruise and go Royal rather than our norm, which is Carnival. We have never had a bad cruise with Carnival, however, we didn’t see an itinerary that caught our eye during the vacation week that we had scheduled off for out of the port that we use. No biggie, we were all for trying something new! (Our mistake) Day 1 starting our ...

We recently sailed on the Harmony of The Seas for the September 22, 2019 through September 29, 2019 itinerary which was scheduled to visit Perfect Day at Coco Cay, Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas and Phillipsburg St. Maarten. Our stateroom number was 6542 on the starboard bow. Sailing during hurricane season is a new experience for me and I had some anxiety leading up to the sailing, thinking our ...
