Harmony Transatlantic

Transatlantics are best value especially when booked early. Cabin had creaking metal overhead which made it difficult to sleep. Otherwise the cabin was fine. Room attendant was very pleasant and efficient. Johnny Rockets was best for breakfast because they serve omelettes and good OJ to your table; no extra fee at breakfast. Mini-bites also makes omelettes and is a nice out of the way option to ...

An amazing ship, overall

I tend to like longer voyages, especially transatlantics, maidens, and repositioning sailings. I also look for good value when I cruise. I picked an inside cabin with virtual balcony, which I greatly enjoyed onboard Quantum of the Seas. Unfortunately, at least most of the inside virtual balconies on Harmony of the Seas don't have the sound... so you don't hear the wind, and the sea. A ...

Bigger but better?

A beautiful ship, no doubt about that. No doubt that it is large. I am one of those cruisers who loves to see the body of water on which I'm sailing on. I felt that was missing on this newest RCI ship, if I wanted to be in a atmosphere of forced sunlight I would go to Las Vegas. What happened to the windows on the Schooner Bar? There were lots of activities to keep one busy so no fear there. I can ...

This was our 3rd T/A and 17th cruise with RCCL; we have had some excellent experiences, but this is the best so far. Beautiful ship and a wonderful crew. As with most things it is all about leadership; Captain Gus is far more than a nice guy and entertaining speaker, he is a gifted leader. His leadership was felt throughout the ship by both crew and passengers. Service was not perfect, but any ...

We sailed from Civitavecchia on a short three nghts to get to Barcelona before a 13 night sailing across the Atlantic (TA) to Miami. Just off the Florida coast we met up with Allure of the Seas and Oasis of the Seas for a photo op. We were on the Allure of the Seas last year and have sailed on 24 cruises with RCI and five with Celebrity. Last month we sailed on MSC for the first time. These ...

Big Ship

Thought it would be interesting to try a new large ship. It was interesting. Ship was large and crowded. Not enough seating in public areas. Shows were better than some of the other ships. Food was mediocre. I do have to say, our Dining room team was one of the Best we have ever had. The rest. was no big deal. Will stick with the smaller ships.Activities were good for kids. Did not ever get ...

We chose this cruise because we wanted to try Harmony before she relocated to US. So glad that we took this opportunity. When we booked only "Guaranteed" cabins were available so we took a chance and booked a Balcony cabin. Were allocated cabin 7138 about 4 weeks before travel and it was perfect as was Ed our cabin attendant. Really enjoyed all of the new things to do on this ship. ...

We chose this cruise to be able to enjoy seeing Europe. We took an arranged tour for the morning we arrived that was a Royal Caribbean offering. It was given by a woman whose English was hard to understand. We had one stop to use the facilities and take a few pictures. When we got back on the bus she did not have much to say. I promptly fell asleep and woke when it was over. Boarding was ...

I was lucky enough to sail on this wonderful ship on the Maiden Voyage from Southampton to Barcelona. I had a fantastic time and wanted to return to Harmony on her last Mediterranean cruise before going Transatlantic. This time I decided not to write this review on my immediate return from the cruise. I am so glad that I did I am normally so excited on my return from a cruise that I can't wait to ...

We loved the cruise, our stateroom with the virtuall balcony gave us enough room, the staff, everything was fine. It was surprising for us that so many people don't make a bigger crowd. Last year we did the med cruise aboard the Allure of the Seas so we knew what to expect. The all access tour we did on the last day we liked most. It was the highlight of the trip and totally worth the ...
