Sailing on the Harmony is like sailing on a mini-City. There’s always something to do and always something new to explore.
Embarkation- well-organized. The parking lot is a little crazy, but once you’re out of your car it’s smooth sailing to the ship.
Cabin- the cabin is a cabin. Go for the balcony room. There are inside balconies that overlook the central area of the ship, but the ...
Great trip! We were worried about sailing on a mega ship but we were pleasantly surprised. The only time we had issues with crowds were during evening dinner hours. The elevators were extremely busy during this time but we had to wait due to one member of our party using a scooter.
We enjoyed the food in Windjammer, American Icon dining room, Small Bites, and Johnny Rockets.
There were ...
We chose this cruise because it worked for our kid's spring break. We were concerned about it being crowded since it was a sold out cruise but I can say we never once felt like it was crowded. The design of the ship is supposed to prevent overcrowding and it worked.
We had an owners suite, which provided so much room for two adults/two children. Our balcony included a dining table for 4, 3 ...
Being very loyal to Royal, and having been on more than 60 cruises we go with an open mind with intent on having fun. I hate to post anything negative unless it's something important so here goes, I'll get the bad out of the way first.
Morning one, we decided to have breakfast at mini bites. It was scheduled to open at 7. We arrived shortly after. It was not open so I asked if I could get a cup ...
Zumba Cruise for 120 people. If i don't have to go back to Nassau, it will be too soon. We took the excursion and it was a marketing tour for the local merchants and not much else.
Coco Cay was a rip off. Anything you wanted to do, you had to pay for. I understand paying for the zipline or the balloon ride, but charging to use the pool and water, is utterly ridiculous.
The food was well ...
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
This was a fun, 3-day getaway to the Bahamas on the spectacular Harmony of the Seas! This was the first voyage of the Harmony out of her new home port of Orlando (Port Canaveral). For PC, it was a significant event to have the Harmony home ported there. Being her first voyage out of PC, we received a ceremonial send off with a 3 fireboat escort – water fountaining ...
Chose this ship because of the ability to "sample" it with a three day cruise. I have been on Oasis twice but first time on Harmony. Large number of passengers....I believe they said 6,000+ so elevators always had long waits. My suggestion if you are able is to take the stairs that way you get where you want to go faster and it works in your daily exercise program! Lots of walking from one end ...
Bed was too close to the balcony when the beds are together and the bed was next to the balcony door when they were separated into twin beds and I could not open the balcony door and go out onto the balcony without kneeling on the bed first.
The ship is very similar to Oasis of the seas, Allure of the seas & Symphony of the sea but with some differences. Harmony has some different stores that ...
We chose this cruise because we wanted to check out the ship. We always purchase the drink package and three dinner specialty dining package. With those packages, our cruise is paid in full minus gratuities. We always leave an additional tip when visiting the specialty restaurants because service is top notch. This cruise we didn't enjoy the food at Jaime's but the service was great. We had a ...
My mom and I went on this cruise because we wanted to try out one of the big ships, and we have to say we loved it! The way the ship is broken into neighborhoods it never felt crowded. Overall fun vacation!
Embarkation and debarkation:
Very smooth. We're used to other cruise lines guiding you to certain locations upon getting on the ship, but it was a free for all, figure it out yourself ...
