This was a family & friends cruise. Royal Caribbean was chosen based on my long time positive cruise experience with it. The ship was chosen since it's a newer ship and in the same class as the Oasis and Allure. Previous cruises on Oasis and Allure were good. Overall the Harmony cruise was good but there were was an issue that required a top level manager's involvement to rectify it. Once he interceded, the issue was resolved. I had a boardwalk room which was nice. The Aqua Theater was visible and the shows could be viewed from the balcony. The elevator situation on this ship was totally unacceptable. There was ALWAYS a wait for an elevator. I never experienced this on any other ship. The wait was long and when the elevators stopped they were always filled and so the wait would continue. It was normal for 3 or 4 elevators to be packed before you could actually squeeze into one. The food was less than desirable. The cruise was good and ship nice. But I really don't think it met the RC standard that I've come to know and enjoy Read Less

Chose the cruise because of all of the activities BUT if you are going to relax forget it! You need reservations for everything shows, skating, aqua theatre, dinner....everything. Show spots are gone and you can’t see the show. Same with ice skating. Not enough reservations available for number of people who want to go. It is the story of this cruise ...there are many features you will never get to use due to crowds. Some food was also less than stellar. Instant mashed potatoes...really? Yuk! And a can of coke $4.15 unless you order it from room service after 6pm. Then it is $4.15 PLUS a service charge of $7.99 so more than $12.00 a can! I felt overcharged on many things on this cruise! Internet was faster than most ships but had to sign on daily with the password they give you. And many times internet would flick off and on. Internet runs about $97 if you book before the cruise and that is only for one device. Service was good on board. Lines for anything that did not require a reservation including elevators. I think I would go back to smaller ships. Royal Caribbean seams to be making many changes and most costing more money to the passenger. But going on a big ship to be able to enjoy the amenities doesn’t work if you can’t provide the services advertised. Bring your credit card is my recommendation because you will really need it! The ship was very impressive. Overall the cruising behemoth was more than expected. The Promenade was very nice except for the (watch an merchandise booths). They were cheap looking and needed to be more elegant and luxurious. The Sports section was amazing with a wide variety of sports for all guests( ping pong, basketball, surfing, zip line, mini golf, etc). The shows and entertainment were plenty and a wide variety offered. The Central Park was beautiful and the landscaping was immaculate . The food it’s good overall. Plenty of quantity but the quality was just ok. I was expecting a lot more high end food quality and food presentation. The service was outstanding. Our cabin attendant (Jean da Silva) was extremely courteous and friendly. The main dining room servers ( Mark Gutierrez and assistant John Bordador) were excellent in every respect and went above and beyond to serve us during dinner all 7 days of the cruise. The pool area was very clean but a bit crowded during cruising days but with plenty of available lounge chairs and towels and bar service. The Solarium area was also very nice But it needs a pool to cool off. The complementary Windjammer and Solarium Bistro were good overall but needed better quality food and better breakfast options like an omelet station. The main dining room breakfast was good overall . Lobster night was exceptional. The lobsters were perfectly broiled. Sorrentos Gad good overall pizza to snack on and Park Cafe Gad good sandwiches ( particularly the roast beef sandwich) and great fresh Salads. The cabins were excellent and well appointed and clean. The shore excursion to St Thomas was disappointing . The island is rather delapilated still after toast years hurricanes. Overall we had a very good experience in this Cruise trip. Read Less

I had previously been on the Allure of the Seas ship twice, before I heading on Harmony. I felt excited to go on another cruise that was very similar to Allure, since that experience was amazing. I have two kids, one 14 years old and the other 11. They were excited to explore what activities the ship had to offer, for example the Ultimate Abyss, which was an adult version of the slides at McDonald’s, the fantastic water slides, and even the pizza at Sorrento’s. The shows were very well put together and it was never boring to watch. The Central Park was very beautiful and it was great for taking pictures. The food was very good it had many different cuisines from different countries. The service was amazing the waiters were very nice and generous. Also when I checked in and out it was very fast and smooth. I personally think that the cruise was very fun and exciting, I am very sure I will be coming back in 2019 on Symphony of the seas. Third cruise with Royal. Was a bit concerned with the size of the ship at first. You never know how things would go with over 6000 people. The staff however did an exceptional job. I traveled with my spouse, teen son and two sets of parents/grandparent. All found things to do and all had a great time. With the ship being the size it was, I would recommend the following especially if you are used to the flow of a smaller ship (guess every ship is small compared to this one...lol): 1. Reserve everything you can ahead of time as they get booked up quickly. From excursions to dining and entertainment. If you can book ahead, do so! 2. For more popular activities, try to go first thing in the AM - Flow Rider, Abyss and Zip Line. 3. Lots to do so pace yourself. 4. Take the stairs when you can. There can be a long wait for the elevators at times. Overall dining experience was great with lots of options. Opted to try the larger ship next year, Symphony of the Seas. Larger by a whole 2 inches!!! Read Less

Embarkation went smoothly. Took a cab from hotel to Port Everglades. The ship was fantastic. It was clean, lots of things to do, food was great and service was excellent. Cabin was always clean and comfortable in size. We dined at the Main Dining Room for breakfast and dinner. The food for dinner was excellent. Breakfast was just OK for me. We did buffet and a la carte. Wish they would change the food selection. Everyday, It was consistently the same for 7 days. I can't praise enough for the service my family and I got from this cruise ship. Everyone was friendly, attentive and passionate about their job. Special mention to Christian Reyes, our cabin stewart who made sure that we had enough towels everyday even without asking. Our cabin was always clean. Another outstanding crew are Joseph Perez, waiter at the main dining room and his assistant, Kumar. Joseph is from the Philippines and Kumar is from India. Every night, this team would serve us as if we were royalty. Service is that good. In fact, we are planning our next cruise because of these two. The Ports and Shore excursions were fun and beautiful. Went to Pearl Island in Nassau. We did snorkeling and had an amazing time. The food included was good and the beach was gorgeous. When we got there, there were not much people yet but in the afternoon, people started showing up. But, the place was big enough for people to still enjoy. There were kayaks, paddle boat, etc. to use for free. Snorkeling is additional charge if you didn't book the shore excursion with snorkeling. It costs only $15 per person with equipment included. Totally worth doing it. At St. Thomas, we went to Magen's Bay. Absolutely beautiful but there were lots of people and there were no umbrellas available We took a taxi to Magen's Bay. Plenty of taxi available at the port. It was very organized. It costs us $10 per person to Magen's Bay. At St. Kitts, we went on a land tour excursion with Grey Thenford. He was phenomenal. He took us around the city. Went to Romney Manor and Caribelle Batik. It was gorgeous. The garden at the manor had tropical plants from around the world. Then, he took us to the Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site. It was breathtaking. At sea, there were plenty of things to do. Our family went ziplining, watched shows, went to the arcade, rode the carousel, went for the Abyss and water slides. The cruise ship had mini golf and splash bay for the little kids. Everyone had a great time. Not a dull moment. Disembarkation was fast. To avoid the crowd, we left the ship around 8:00am. Had breakfast at Windjammer at 6:30am. At this time, there were plenty of seats available. We did the valet luggage service of Delta and it was convenient. But, if you leave the cruise ship early, you will still be able to get your luggage fast. It was done in an organized manner. We travelled with children ages 14, 11, 8, 5. They all had a great time. I definitely would recommend this ship to everyone. We had a special and wonderful time with this ship. This is my third time cruising and my first with Royal. Read Less

The shows were great we saw comedians, jugglers, newlywed game, and others plenty to do and there all vey entertaining. There were plenty of bars and restaurants to pick from if you don’t want the main dining hall. Food was good all over the boat, snack shops, dining hall, specialty restaurants, and buffet. It had been 22 years since our last cruise, before we had kids and we just took our first family cruise with our 11, 15 and 18 year old. We also went with another family. Harmony did not disappoint! Boarding the ship was smooth, the service from our room to the bartenders was top notch. The quality of the food at the main dining room was good, but we also ate at sabor and 150 Central Park. Sabor had the best guacamole we had ever had and our dinner at Central Park was Amazing and worth the extra money to dine there! Our kids all had a blast and there was plenty to keep them busy on board. The days at sea we rarely saw them because they were busy on the water slides, flow rider, playing ping pong, zip lining, or just meeting new friends. The only problem with Harmony is that our expectations are so high for our next cruise, I’m not sure if they can be exceeded. Read Less

We recently celebrated my husband's retirement by taking a 7 day cruise on the Harmony of the Seas. Our itinerary included the Eastern Caribbean destinations of Nassau, Bahamas, Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, and Basseterre, St. Kitts. We had two adjacent oceanfront balcony rooms on the 8th deck, and our rooms were toward the front of the ship. The cabin steward did an excellent job of keeping our rooms clean and well-stocked with ice. Most evenings, we dined at Silk, and enjoyed delicious meals and phenomenal service. On one evening, we went to Wonder Land, a specialty restaurant on board. Our dinner at Wonder Land was an amazing experience! The food and the unique manner in which it was presented were incredible. To add to the evening, our family was seated directly in front of the enormous glass windows overlooking the Boardwalk. The view was simply stunning! The cruise provided endless entertainment options for our family of four (including two grown children, ages 21 and 29). We enjoyed the on-board production of Grease so much that we actually saw it twice! We found the comedy shows to be really funny, and we also really enjoyed the juggling / comedy duo. During our sea days, we participated in multiple trivia competitions, scavenger hunts, quizzes, and even Bingo! My husband enjoyed spending time by the pool, and my son enjoyed spending money (and even winning money) in the casino. Our first port was Nassau, Bahamas. We did the Blue Lagoon Island Deluxe Beach Break. This excursion was a pleasant surprise for me. The water was crystal clear and the beach area never felt crowded. We floated and snorkeled, then enjoyed a delicious lunch. It was a very relaxing excursion. Our second port was Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas. We did the St. John Beach and Snorkel excursion. This excursion was a bit disappointing for us. It took approximately 30 minutes via boat to arrive at Trunk Bay. From there, it took approximately 20 minutes via jeep to arrive at the beach for snorkeling. As a result, we had about one hour to actually snorkel. While snorkeling, we saw one large tarpon and schools of bait fish. There was very little coral. The beach was extremely windy, making it impossible to relax and enjoy the sun. In addition, the area had no concessions available due to remaining damage from last year's hurricanes. The area was beautiful, but we did not feel that this excursion was a good value for the cost. Our third port was Basseterre, St. Kitts and our excursion was the St. Kitts Dolphin Experience. This was our favorite excursion, by far! We had multiple opportunities to interact with our dolphin, Angeline. Our animal trainer, Gigi, was very knowledgeable. She made us feel relaxed and comfortable interacting with the dolphin. We highly recommend this excursion to people of all ages. It was one of the highlights of our trip. In conclusion, we thoroughly enjoyed our cruise on the Harmony of the Seas. We would cruise on this ship again in the future, and would seek out new destinations. Read Less

I choose to spend one week with my daugther cruising in the Caribbean sea. The Harmony of the Seas, to me seems a big disneyland on water. No relax. Two small pool, full of people, all the time. We did not even touched the pool for the all week. It’s a pity but it was a terrible experience to me. Never again. Maybe I was unluky, but the previews cruise experiences that I had in Europe, were much, much better than this one. The stops were not the good ones. Labadee was like a Circus, everything was fake. Hopefully we had a sailing excursion, that was good. The only good memories that we have about this trip.the other excursion in Tulum was terribile, so hot!... the bus did not have the air conditioning and we arrived to visit Tulum at 13,00 pm. It was crazy!... so hot!... what kind of holiday is an holiday like this one! They had to warn people about not to pick this kind of excursion with this terrible temperature. the staff were always nice and kind, but this kind of cruise ship has not a good balance between relax and fun. I made a big mistake.the restaurant were very good, the staff really nice and there was always a lot of activities.the teens club was not at all organised and my daugther did not joint them during the cruise, except one evening. It's our third RC cruise on Oasis line ships and it certainly will not be the last! The architecture and design of the ships is amazing. The cabin is very comfortable and practical. The shows are very good, especially the Columbus. We only used the main restaurants and we were satisfied, especially the attendant Kristina from Russia and the assistant Francisco from Brasil, both very competent and friendly. Another highlight is the cleanliness and conservation in all areas. The stops are interesting, although we already knew the places from another cruise. Some onboard prices are especially exaggerated for the tours, some of dubious quality, like the "Go Native" from Jamaica where we spent more time on the bus than on the stops and the meal was terrible. In Cancun we did the "Dune Buggy and Snorkeling" tour. By the description the tour included a stop on a beach but actually stopped at a restaurant where we had to eat fast by the time. And the snorkeling time was very short. Finally, since we had two seniors in the group, the wheelchair loan process was very time-consuming. But overall, once again, we were pleased with our trip. We are return cruisers with Royal Caribbean, and has yet another amazing experience. Everything from the waitstaff to the port experiences were beyond incredible. We thoroughly enjoyed our Central Park Balcony Stateroom and all of the services we experienced during the week. The bartenders, dining room waitstaff, stateroom attendants, spa staff, activities staff, and the overall ship was an unforgettable experience. We had a great time at Royal Caribbean’s Labadee, Haití port. It was very updated and easily accessible for everyone who disembarked the ship. The disembarkation and re embarkation processes were very organized and smooth at each port. In addition, the Falmouth, Jamaica and Cozumel, Mexico ports were just as enjoyable. We were with a large travel group not directly affiliated with Royal Caribbean, but long-time travelers with the the cruise line. Through our private group, we took excursions in Jamaica and Mexico, which we really enjoyed. Overall, I will always recommend Royal Caribbean to those interested in cruising. The Grease show the Las Vegas Tenors, and the comedy show are must-sees. Chester, the pianist/singer at Schooners bar is talented and funny! The food in main dining was absolutely delicious every single day! And Chops steakhouse and Johnny Rockets are musts! Breakfast-they had all of our favorites plus fresh squeezed oj if you had the beverage package (I highly recommend). Our cabin was consistently tip-top, I never walked into a dirty bathroom in any are of the ship-I don’t know how they did that! Shopping at the ports was great-attend the jewelry/diamond buying seminars for tips and free stuff!! The service they offered to valet your bags that you want to check and print your boarding pass for $25 per person was well worth it-be sure to budget for that. It was our 2nd year. After the first year on this brand new ship was amazing we thought for sure the second year would be too. The service was TERRIBLE- the food decent but not like it used to be. an overall disappointment. The pool staff was rude, the decks super slippery, staff members pretending to work, The spa manager is the worst- please bring back the one you had last summer- she was fabulous. The new one is rude, doesn't smile and sets a very negative tone, the dining room used to go out of their way to make you feel special, remembering your drink orders, making the kids feel special, now asking for more dinner rolls is like asking to win the lottery- we always felt awkward asking for something- the staff always looked inconvenienced. The soda machines for the soda package were constantly out ... what the heck... we pay upfront, therefore we should not have to deal with empty machines- there are not enough soda machines.... again, we pay an upfront fee, we should not have to go all over the ship to find 1 that is working and has been re-stocked. Never enough ice... the machines were dirty..... clean them please. When I think about the service I am sad..... it used to be great.... now it's terrible.... Read Less

The free food was below average and the Johnny Rockets was great. Makes you wonder if they are trying to drive guests to the dinning you pay for verses the free. Pools & hot tubs are great and there are plenty. I also think the have a great ship that holds a lot of guests but can the staff handle that many. They looked very frazzled compared to my previous cruises I have been on. I did address all these issues with the guest services and they gave me chocolate covered strawberries. New ship lots of lateral space but too many people. Lordy lordy, it's like an ant colony on the move. Room (Junior suite) smelled like a smoker's convention locker room and very Dusty. Balcony very large and bumped out for a better view. Hallways are a bit too narrow for two people to get by specially when you consider the fact that most cruisers are on the heavier than average size. Embarkation was smooth but getting back to the shop from ports of call were very slow and long. Food was great all around the ship. Service was equally great. The pay restaurants have gotten too expensive for the value. Entertainment was great despite the long lines and the ticket requirements. Central Park area was very relaxing and romantic specially when the live smooth music was being performed (classical guitar was my favorite). This ship is simply amazing. It has so many things to do that we found it hard to fit it all in during our recent 7 day Eastern Caribbean cruise. Of the cruises we've been on this ship and it's on-board staff were the best. With the exception of a single staff member from the Next Cruise group, everyone we met were kind, professional and helpful. The ones we interacted with the most were our stateroom attendant and our main dining room staff were the absolute best of any cruise experience thus far. This ship itself is well maintained and clean. The staff at the flow riders were also amazing. They helped my son get the hang of the boogie board and by the end of the cruise he was up on his knees. My biggest complaint has to come with the extra and hidden costs we found once on board. If you want room service, be careful, even though the bill shows "No Charge" when you're ordering, you might see an $8 service fee still depending on what you ordered. There was no way to tell from the menu which would incur a fee and which wouldn't. This to me was a blatant hidden charge and unacceptable. There were also a lot of extra expenses that made it feel like they were trying to nickel and dime us to death. For example, on the way to a show in the Royal Theater we smelled popcorn. When it comes to popcorn my daughter can sniff it out like a blood hound. She quickly found where the smell was coming from. We asked for a couple of buckets (smaller than the small buckets at most movie theaters) but was appaled to find they would cost $3 each. Really Royal Caribbean? You gotta charge for the tiny box of popcorn? I also felt that all of the restaurants on the board walk should have been inlcluded, not just the hot dog stand. I mean if Carnival can offer a burger joint and burrito stand at no additional cost to its guests, why can't Royal Caribbean do the same? In the end, I felt like I paid a premium to go on this ship but was being offered budget fare style amenities some times. Those were our only cons, the rest of the experience was fantastic save our Labadee experience which I'll get to. Getting on and off the boat was the easiest of all the cruises I've been on. There was never too large a crowd at the gangways and they always had multiple entrances. It was fast and simple. The same was true for disembarkation. It took us no time at all to get off the ship once we arrived home. We chose the self-carry option and we just grabbed our bags and walked off the ship. Our cabin was good. About what we expected for what we purchased. It had a king bed plus a sofa bed with trundle. I would have preferred a Pullman bed above the sofa bed however as with the trundle pulled out it basically cut off access to the balcony. Dining on board was also about what we expected. We ate all of our dinners in the main dining room. The food was great with the exception of a couple of dishes but that's ok. Lunches we had in the Windjammer, Mini Bites, The Park Cafe and Jonny Rockets. I would avoid Mini Bites unless you have small kids. The burgers there are soggy grey mush. They also offer hot dogs, chips and fries with various toppings such as melted cheese and chili to top them with. The biggest problem is that kids often go there unaccompanied and are simply nasty. The burgers are cooked with a bit of onion and I witnessed one boy picking off an onion and throwing it back in the serving tray. No thanks. Just avoid it. The windjammer was good. We had a breakfast and a lunch there. They make everyone wash their hands before entering and it's a more supervised buffet than the Mini Bites. The choices were also greater. Both our breakfast and lunch experiences were enjoyable. One of our favorite places to eat for lunch however was the Park Cafe which was included. Soups, deserts, sandwiches, salads and paninis, all made to order. Best lunch venue on the boat. For breakfast however, head over to Johnny Rockets, it's the only meal there that is included and it's all made to order. The best breakfast on the ship. The solarium bistro is also a good option and typically less crowded. Kids aren't allowed there but they don't enforce it. We saw a few families there with their kids. As for dress codes, they don't really enforce those either in any of the included dining venues. In the main dining room we saw people in t-shirts and cut off jean shorts a couple of nights. Most people did tend to put on their Sunday best however. If you are planning shore excursions for any of your ports, please read independent reviews of those where you can find them. I'll give short descriptions of what we did. For Phillipsburg, St. Marteen we took the troll tour. The kids found it boring and it mostly was. The good thing is it dropped you off near Great Bay Beach and if you wanted, you didn't need to get back on the trolly to go back to the boat. Just stay there and take a ferry back to the port for $3 which is what we did. Great Bay Beach was really nice with a lot of wonderful restaurants along the boardwalk. There are a lot of street vendors there but I found them to be less pushy than most I've visited so it wasn't too bad. Some of the best food I had on my vacation was at this beach. Try something local, I don't think you'll be disappointed. For San Juan, we didn't book any excursions as we weren't on the island for long. We just walked over to the fort and toured that before finding something to eat and getting back on the boat. If you haven't been to San Juan before I do recommend the fort. It was very interesting. We were most excited to go to Labadee and it was the most dissapointing. Some of this I will admit was our fault. My advice, don't book too many things to do. You'll spend your whole day walking all over the island and standing in lines. We booked the snorkel safari which was only just ok. There wasn't a lot to see there. Then we booked the Arawak Aqua park. The kids did have fun playing on all the bounce toys in the water but be aware they don't seperate by age so if you have small ones, know that there will also be teens in there with you. The biggest disapointment though was the coaster, our third booked activity. We purchased the all-day pass because it was cheaper since we only needed tickets for myself and my wife. Our two kids got to ride with us for free. Our all-day pass got us a single ride. Royal sells too many single ride arm bands and the line got too large and moved extremely slow. Only one cart can go at a time, and they have to wait for that one to get 120 feet away before they launch the next one. We waited in line for an hour, with no shade. The ride itself was awesome. Once on we had an absolute blast. We neither had the time or the desire to stand in that hot line again however. If you're going to do it, buy a single ride ticket and hit it first thing otherwise forget about it. Overall, we'd definately do this ship again, it was a great vacation despite some of the disapointments. We've learned what to do better next time and now know what to expect with the hidden and extra charges. Read Less

We have cruised many times - Harmony is one of our favorite ships - the staterooms are a bit larger, the ship is immaculate, shows are great (especially the High Wire!) and staff is super friendly. Jeffrey, our cabin steward, was the best we have ever had. Although we didn't love the food at Wonderland, the experience was different and phenomenal. We did feel, however, that we were "nickled and dimed" for absolutely everything aboard - when we sail NCL, for example, the drink package is included, as are typically 3 or 4 specialty dining nights. Places like Johnny Rockets and Sabor should be included. RCCL Harmony's drink package is ridiculously expensive, as are the excursion packages. Bingo is too much $. We were traveling with two 17yr olds. There were not many events designed for that age - they all seemed to be geared toward the 12-15yr olds. Also, I feel that more coverage should be given to the Solarium. It's a beautiful, quiet area. Although signs said the areas were for 16 and up, there were many, many kids younger than that in that area, and in the hot tubs there as well. We love RCCL, but wish that they were a bit more competitive with pricing. All in all, a great trip! Read Less

We sailed for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. There were 4 of us (parents, me and DD--age 7) in a 1 bedroom Aqua Theater Suite on deck 14. My father has limited mobility so he traveled using his electric scooter. It was our first suite experience with Royal Caribbean and we were very impressed. Embarkation was smooth and we were on the ship quickly. The ship was outstanding! There was so much to do and the ship was in excellent condition. We'd sailed on Allure of the Seas previously and were very happy with the additions on Harmony. The 1 bedroom Aqua Theater Suite was excellent. The living room was spacious and the sofa bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice with 2 sinks, a shower and a tub. The walk in closet was huge. The balcony was not as big as lower decks, but was still huge. It had a great ocean view and a nice view of the Aqua Theater. There was a dining table with chairs and 2 lounge chairs. The only downside was the long walk to the cabin, but it really wasn't too bad of a walk. We ate most meals in Coast Kitchen. The service and the food at Coastal Kitchen were outstanding! It was a nice atmosphere and the food was fresh and well prepared. We had a couple of breakfasts & lunch at Windjammer. It was nicer than Allure and I never felt crowded/overwhelmed like I did on Allure. The Suite Lounge was a nice treat in the mornings and evenings (happy hour). The entertainment was excellent. We especially liked "Columbus." The water slide lines could get long, but we were able to get a lot of water slide time in first thing in the morning. A lot of the activities, like zipline, flow rider, The Ultimate Abyss, etc. surprisingly never had very long waits. St. Maarten is still struggling with recovery from Irma. I know they need the tourist dollars to recover which is what made me feel so torn about the visit. We did a shore excursion through a separate vendor. Adjustments were made to the itinerary because of the healing that is still going on (that's how they refer to the recovery there). Marigot is definitely in much worse shape than Philipsburg. In general, there is still major destruction all over. I feel for the people as they still have a very long road ahead. San Juan was in better shape than I expected. I know it's not as good outside the cities, but Old San Juan was great. Labadee was a fun beach day! We did the water slide and roller coaster. The coaster was a cool experience, but we wouldn't do it again. The locals in all the ports were so nice and really appreciated the tourism! DD loved Adventure Ocean! They had a lot of kids, but did a great job with them! The scooter allowed my father to see and do a lot more than he could ever have done without it, but it did provide some challenges. There were some large bumps on the gangway that made it difficult to navigate. Also, getting an elevator with enough space for the scooter could be challenging. Overall the service was outstanding! We only had one negative crew member interaction the entire week which is amazing considering the number of crew members. The only other negative thing was the temperature some of the public areas. The hallways, elevators and elevator lobbies were always very warm/hot. I don't recall it being nearly this bad on Allure. We would definitely sail on Harmony again! Read Less

Harmony of the Seas has an amazing customer service! In addition, the room service was exceptional too! This ship also provides great entertainment for kids; pools, golf, game room, kids club and water slides. It is very clean and modern. The night shows are excellent. I loved the Fine Line, and the ice skating "1887" ,except in my opinion, GREASE, because it has too much dialog. I had breakfast at the solarium every day and we would have dinner sometimes at the Grande. The buffet had a lot more people on it but if you go at the right time , when it is starting you can get a good seating. I love how the food was always fresh and diverse. The pools were pretty fool, so I decided to go when people got out on the ports. This time we only visited Labadee and we like it. I will definitely 100% recommend this ship. Read Less

My parents cruise often and were impressed with the features of the largest ship in RC’s fleet: Harmony of the Seas. We had a party of 7, including 5 adults and two children. First off, the beds are solid slates of rock. We immediately engaged the staff the first night about our concern over the mattress hardness and they reassured us housekeeping would do their best to soften the bed. Unfortunately, this involved placing a thin mat that was thinner than a blanket under the fitted sheet. This was the only solution the staff could come up with, so my father and husband who were side and stomach sleepers accepted that sleep would be an uncomfortable affair. During the course of the cruise, we found many damaged decorations, elevator buttons, and punched in trash cans as well as crashing royal IQ terminals and printers that were unplugged and non functional from their terminals. Excursion tickets had to be reprinted by guest services. During our evening dining experiences, we dis not experience a single night that did not contain some sort of catastrophe with the food. The first night while eating my baked potato, I bit into a pebble that was hanging onto the skin. Management came over and expressed concern, which was reassuring and insisted this was not the norm. However, we consumed many baked potatoes on the trip and the two children with us each found one in a similar manner on later evenings. There was also a strange seaweed type substance baked into an appetizer tart that was not supposed to be there. Each evening, beverages were frustrating. I drink sparkling water, and had my glasses filled frequently with other clear beverages. This happened with our cokes, unsweetened ice teas, and often beverages were forgotten or incorrect. This also applies to the coffee. Several evenings my parents would order espresso, and it would either arrive in unappropriate cups, cold, or never arrive at all. The staples of the dinner were also inconsistent. The creme brule is served every night and every night it came out different: “barely crisped top, completely charred top, perfect top, fruit scraped off the top and with visble remains left of a berry” top, and so forth. The buffet had several frustrating issues with it as well. I fully support the cruise line’s mission to encourage the washing of hands, but I would suggest they open more than 4 stations if that’s their intent. The 4 stations of handwashing created a huge bottleneck on days the ship were cruising, creating lines that passed the stairwells. Food was often refilled when platters were half empty and on more than 1 occasion was tugged away from our teens when they were reaching for a food item. Food items line pancakes and waffles were disappointing given that they were premade and warmed under a heat lamp or not warmed at all. Our final evening we dined at 150 Central Park, and expected to be wowed given the $50 per head pricetag. Our waiter made us weight nearly 40 minutes to take our order, and they were incredibly apologetic, but the evening continued to ha r some bumps. A glass shattered in my husbands hand, dousing him in his ice tea, but luckily he was all right. The table was cleared with great speed and all was done to ensure he was all right and the cut on his finger was taken care of. The waiter at this point started bringing out many dishes to try and appease us but it ended up overloading our table. The Quality of food however, was excellent. And we had baked potatoes again, alas with no rocks! The resturant also refunded us our head charge, which we appreciated greatly. The staff there was phenomenal, particularly Francisco who completely charmed my 11 year old niece and all of us with his wit and caring disposition. My overall impression of 150 Central Park was mixed, but overall positive. I think if i cruise again, i would take advantage of the dining packages and avoid the main dining room. The wait at the dining rooms and constantly changing waiters make it difficult to create repoire with your waiter and staff. I miss the days when you were sat at the same table each night and had the same wait staff for the duration of your trip. Read Less
