We have been on several Royal Caribbean cruises from the smallest ship the Empress to the Oasis class ships. Since we have been on the Oasis several times so we decided to try the Harmony if the Seas since it’s a newer ship. Embarkation and disembarkation was easy and quick. We had a loft suite and the perks that went along with it made the cruise a phenomenal experience. We were able to have our ...
My husband, 20 year old daughter and I had a lovely time on Harmony of the Seas! We've been on 8 cruises and by now consider ourselves old hands at it. I've always enjoyed reading the reviews on Cruise Critic.. but everyone is looking for different things from a vacation, so all I can do is relate my experience, and I hope it helps some planners!
We flew into Ft Lauderdale the night before, and ...
This was my first time cruising and I chose to start with Harmony. This was an excellent cruise with phenomenal shows, activities and services. Were there occasional issues? Absolutely; however, I still immensely enjoyed my cruise. The main pitfall is that it does get crowded at times.
EMBARKATION:
I arrived at the cruise port at 12:50 PM. By 12:57 PM, I was walking on the ship. The process ...
This is our 4th family sailing on the Royal Caribbean. We have always thoroughly enjoyed our cruises.
We were shocked and disappointed to see some changes this time, of course changes to make us pay more and for Royal Caribbean to make more money.
ROOM SERVICE NOW COSTS MONEY
It used to be free, they changed their policy one year ago.

Picked an Acqua Theatre suite for a first class experience. Review is mostly a comparison to NCL which I cruise on a lot.
First the highlights - ship is beautiful with great wow factor (central park, acqua theatre, skating, variety of shows), acqua theatre shows were great, wifi worked well, good mobile app for your phone, nice fresh fruit smoothie bar by gym, and nice gym.

The boat was amazing, the entertainment was good. Loved the AquaShow the most.
Biggest complaint would be the FOOD. I am a big Food person, and love enjoying good, high quality, tasteful food selections. Aside from the specialty restaurant that we tried (Jamie Oliver's Italian restaurant where we were pampered with excellent service and food - shout out to our server AVEENASH), the Windjammer ...
Between the older kids' summer jobs and college, we had just one week together. It's hard to find something that is both fun for the kids and gives us family time. A cruise is a great way to do both. Together we went on excursions, to shows and to dinner and then the kids went clubbing. We had a nonstop week of fun. There wasn't time to do it all - my son tried and just couldn't do it! We ...
This cruise was non stop fun and excitement! Harmony of the seas really impressed us on this one. We had a balcony cabin that was very well appointed and very clean. The ship itself was huge with entertainment to match! The zip line was short but a very cool experience being right over the boardwalk area! There was a carousel on the board walk area that was more of a novelty item, but none the ...
This is not our first cruise on the Oasis class so I find us doing some comparison between all the Oasis ships. The ship is similar to the other Oasis class with the difference of the slides, shows, and some other tweaks. The service from the MDR, Specialty Dining, Buffet, Room Cabins, and other Cafes are great. Unfortunately, there are also some things that need improvement. 1) The other ...
We are a Diamond Plus couple and have sailed Harmony before. Liked it so much we returned. Had a credit from earlier cruise so moved up to a Sky Class Suite (8654). Extra benefits were very nice.
Concierge service by Mohamed and Checker was excellent throughout They whisked us off the ship on Disembarkation through heavy traffic. Saved us lots of worries. Had helpful tips ...
