Large cruise ship with some pros and cons.

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Harmony of the Seas

Check in: The check in on the cruise was not well organized- there were several lines with lots of staff not knowing what they were doing. We had to go to one area to get the kids bands for their muster station and this was chaos. The ship: Once we got onto the boat our room was already ready. The inside family cabin was great for our needs. It had a lot more room then I expected. We ...

This was our 71st cruise taken over the last 40 years and we have sailed with all the major cruise lines, Celebrity being our very favorite until this one. This was the first Royal ship we've sailed on since the Allure 5 years ago and it was truly wonderful from the cabin, service, entertainment and food. We are Diamond members and their amenities concerning cocktail hours and drinks far ...

We have previously been on the Oasis and Allure. We were excited to go on the Harmony. As expected, the Harmony is a gorgeous ship. I love the Oasis class ships, as they are easy to navigate and all the neighborhoods help to spread the people out on the ship and help make it feel uncrowded. The shows on this ship are absolutely top notch. Grease was, by far, the best show we've seen on a ship and ...

Dining rooms were wonderful oh, we had a nice restaurant crew, named Gener. In fact all of the crew were wonderful. The solarium area was horrible this time. I know they were having some special event and group but there was no consideration for anyone but that group. You couldn't get in the hot tub anytime ....anywhere. There were kids running around all over screaming, the food area was just ...

There are 3 of us. Myself, my wife and her sister who is in a wheelchair. We had cabin 12170. Excellent cabin with lots of room for the wheelchair. I slept on the couch which was made into a single bed. It was surprisingly comfortable. Lots of room in the bathroom and shower was great for disabled. Harmony is a busy ship with over 6200 guests. We decided to have breakfast in the main dining ...

Cruise overall was excellent. We had 8 people in the 4 bedroom suite with the Royal genie service. I had sailed on oasis of the sea in 2017 in one of the aqua suites, also with the genie service. Comparing the two ships, largest difference the shows are better on harmony vs oasis. Oasis had ice cream shop and harmony did not. The self serve ice cream on the Harmony was only opened from 11-5 and ...

Great ship, but mediocre food and inconsistent service in the main dining room

I chose this cruise, as I had been on the Oasis a few years ago and thought it was amazing. I didn't expect that RCL's quality of food and service would have been so disappointing. On the Harmony sailing we were on, we were underwhelmed with the menu food choices and quality (food not always hot, undercooked fish and fatty meats) as well as the inconsistent service in the dining room. The 2 ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Harmony of the Seas

This ship is not for everybody. I do not recommend this cruise for people who don't like crowds (usually military, law enforcement, etc). Their were 5500 people on this ship, not including the help. There are two small pools that are always packed and people leave their towels on the chairs for hours. Even though a sign is posted, towels will be removed after 30 minutes, they never were. If ...

Lovely cruise, but miss calm spaces for reading. And the spa is a bad joke.

The ship is really big and over all a good experience. Good food, specialy on the windjammer, jamie oliver and sorettos pizza. Also good food on labadee , the cruiselines own Island. Labadee is a tropic paradise, but not autentic haiti ofcourse. The port of falmouth and conzumel is nothing. Its just a tourist trap of diamond shops and ugly soveniers. We whent on a snorkling trip with fury in ...
