We chose Harmony of the Seas because of the amenities and size of the ship. I didn’t even feel the ship rocking once. They have good stabilizers on the ship. My husband gets very seasick on cruises but he didn’t need to take his medicine once. There was so much to do on this ship. We enjoyed our nightly entertainment including the Columbus musical and the Grease musical. We missed the ice skating show but I heard it was fantastic. The water show was amazing. We did the escape the rubicon experience which was really fun and brought us closer with other people on the cruise ship. We beat it with two minutes to spare. There was so much to do but we probably did about 1/3 of the activities that were offered. I can’t wait to return to the Harmony to continue to explore what she has to offer. Read Less

We were in a Grande Suite, Deck 9. We booked this cruise because my sister in law needed to be back for school which starts today. We get along fabulously. Her husband passed, it was cheaper for us to get the suite than for her to pay for a single cruiser. The cabin was marvelous. We had 2 flat TV's, a huge (and I mean huge) bathroom with a gigantic bathtub. We had a double balcony, a bar, big closet, coffee machine, robes, and chocolate covered strawberries when we first walked in. It was amazing. The only thing that I would change in that room is that there was only one way to get to the double balcony. We had purchased coffee cards that we didn't need. There is a BIG latte machine in the Coastal Kitchen were suite people eat. We also had complementary wine from 4-8 everyday. The marvelous waiters kept your glass full during dinner. Almost all the wait staff knew your name by the 2nd time they served you. We also had free access to all shows (this was after I spent hours at home booking shows and dining. We got on the ship without standing in any lines except when we first got there, we stood about 7 minutes in the suite line, but no lines after that. That was phenomenal considering 5,200 other people were also trying to get on. This food was over the top, so much that we didn't feel the need to go to any specialty dining. We booked another cruise while on board. This was the best cruising so far that we have done. After next cruise we will be diamond. When we left the ship, the concierges took us right down to the customs line we had already sent our bags to the plane so didn't have to drag them along. Best ever cruise. Would book the Harmony again. Read Less

We had an amazing experience. The cruise is amazing. Excellent service and the cruise staff is amazing everywhere you go. The dinning experience is unforgettable. the ship was very clean and offers a lot of things to do. The shows were excellent and very entertaining. We are planning to book another vacation next year with Royal Caribbean. That is definitely the best way to spend a vacation with families and friends. The kids loved their time on the ship and on the ports. We booked a few shore excursions and the winner was the zip line at Labadee. Everything was very organized and safe. We felt secure and it was an amazing experience. Even my mom that is 74 years old loved the zip line. We had so much fun!!! I encourage my friends to have the same experience as we did. Definitely the best way to spend a family vacation is onboard of a Royal Caribbean ship. Read Less

Our family & friends cruise was EPIC on some many levels. For the past 15 -18 months I've dreamed; plotted; planned; saved & overspent and stressed my immediate family immensely to make this happen (LOL...they have forgiven me). It was a dream came true with 34 beautiful people. We had multiple flights delayed & cancelled. Our pre-cruise hotel was a disaster :(but we made the best of it. Through it all we relaxed related and released any doubts or troubles during our EPIC cruise. This ship was perfect for our group. Something for everyone to do. We had special t-shirts, a baby dedication Svc by Reverend & custom-made mass-choir, fun filled sea days, reconnected & celebrated 40 years of friendship Wild-Bunch style, island hopping & shopping with toes in the sand; family-style dining with the best wait-staff ever & specialty restaurants (Chops Grille, Izumi, & Wonderland) they spoiled us Royally; a private deck party; multiple milestone birthday celebrations; thrilled by the Robotic Bar, Sip Sip Sipped with drink packages; Voomed w/WIFI, loud Hush Parties (aka Silent party) Exchanged clothes during the Quest game-night ; took in Broadway style shows with a WIN at the Casino,Flow riding & boogie boarding; concurred the water slides & scarred by the Abyss; Zip-lining to our hearts content; Closed our trip with a family breakfast & Wakanda night extravaganza ending w/On-Air karaoke "At Last"!!!! So we will enjoy the tan lines & carry the cruise vibes with us always. We had plenty of Harmony on the seas. Can't wait to cruise again. #weCelebratedEverything #myfriendsaregoals #ItsAllLove #Loyal2Royal xoxo Read Less

We decided on Royal Caribbean because of the onboard activities primarily. I have 2 kids that love to surf so they were on the flow rider non-stop. I was able to relax at the pool/spa and enjoy the casino, while my boys were entertained by the flow rider & ping pong, basketball, mini golf etc. So we met for lunch & then reconnected for dinner & a show. It was perfect! I didn’t have to entertain them at all. The food was great. We enjoyed the Windjammer the most due to their huge selections. The stateroom attendant was terrific. Actually all of the staff was amazing! Anytime we had a question they were determined to find an answer no matter what. Everyone was extremely friendly & accomidating. We also enjoyed the excursions. The ship was amazing it was like being on a floating city. I would highly recommend Royal Caribbean Harmony of the Seas! Read Less

I had previously been on the Allure of the Seas ship twice, before I heading on Harmony. I felt excited to go on another cruise that was very similar to Allure, since that experience was amazing. I have two kids, one 14 years old and the other 11. They were excited to explore what activities the ship had to offer, for example the Ultimate Abyss, which was an adult version of the slides at McDonald’s, the fantastic water slides, and even the pizza at Sorrento’s. The shows were very well put together and it was never boring to watch. The Central Park was very beautiful and it was great for taking pictures. The food was very good it had many different cuisines from different countries. The service was amazing the waiters were very nice and generous. Also when I checked in and out it was very fast and smooth. I personally think that the cruise was very fun and exciting, I am very sure I will be coming back in 2019 on Symphony of the seas. Third cruise with Royal. Was a bit concerned with the size of the ship at first. You never know how things would go with over 6000 people. The staff however did an exceptional job. I traveled with my spouse, teen son and two sets of parents/grandparent. All found things to do and all had a great time. With the ship being the size it was, I would recommend the following especially if you are used to the flow of a smaller ship (guess every ship is small compared to this one...lol): 1. Reserve everything you can ahead of time as they get booked up quickly. From excursions to dining and entertainment. If you can book ahead, do so! 2. For more popular activities, try to go first thing in the AM - Flow Rider, Abyss and Zip Line. 3. Lots to do so pace yourself. 4. Take the stairs when you can. There can be a long wait for the elevators at times. Overall dining experience was great with lots of options. Opted to try the larger ship next year, Symphony of the Seas. Larger by a whole 2 inches!!! Read Less

Embarkation went smoothly. Took a cab from hotel to Port Everglades. The ship was fantastic. It was clean, lots of things to do, food was great and service was excellent. Cabin was always clean and comfortable in size. We dined at the Main Dining Room for breakfast and dinner. The food for dinner was excellent. Breakfast was just OK for me. We did buffet and a la carte. Wish they would change the food selection. Everyday, It was consistently the same for 7 days. I can't praise enough for the service my family and I got from this cruise ship. Everyone was friendly, attentive and passionate about their job. Special mention to Christian Reyes, our cabin stewart who made sure that we had enough towels everyday even without asking. Our cabin was always clean. Another outstanding crew are Joseph Perez, waiter at the main dining room and his assistant, Kumar. Joseph is from the Philippines and Kumar is from India. Every night, this team would serve us as if we were royalty. Service is that good. In fact, we are planning our next cruise because of these two. The Ports and Shore excursions were fun and beautiful. Went to Pearl Island in Nassau. We did snorkeling and had an amazing time. The food included was good and the beach was gorgeous. When we got there, there were not much people yet but in the afternoon, people started showing up. But, the place was big enough for people to still enjoy. There were kayaks, paddle boat, etc. to use for free. Snorkeling is additional charge if you didn't book the shore excursion with snorkeling. It costs only $15 per person with equipment included. Totally worth doing it. At St. Thomas, we went to Magen's Bay. Absolutely beautiful but there were lots of people and there were no umbrellas available We took a taxi to Magen's Bay. Plenty of taxi available at the port. It was very organized. It costs us $10 per person to Magen's Bay. At St. Kitts, we went on a land tour excursion with Grey Thenford. He was phenomenal. He took us around the city. Went to Romney Manor and Caribelle Batik. It was gorgeous. The garden at the manor had tropical plants from around the world. Then, he took us to the Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site. It was breathtaking. At sea, there were plenty of things to do. Our family went ziplining, watched shows, went to the arcade, rode the carousel, went for the Abyss and water slides. The cruise ship had mini golf and splash bay for the little kids. Everyone had a great time. Not a dull moment. Disembarkation was fast. To avoid the crowd, we left the ship around 8:00am. Had breakfast at Windjammer at 6:30am. At this time, there were plenty of seats available. We did the valet luggage service of Delta and it was convenient. But, if you leave the cruise ship early, you will still be able to get your luggage fast. It was done in an organized manner. We travelled with children ages 14, 11, 8, 5. They all had a great time. I definitely would recommend this ship to everyone. We had a special and wonderful time with this ship. This is my third time cruising and my first with Royal. Read Less

It had been 22 years since our last cruise, before we had kids and we just took our first family cruise with our 11, 15 and 18 year old. We also went with another family. Harmony did not disappoint! Boarding the ship was smooth, the service from our room to the bartenders was top notch. The quality of the food at the main dining room was good, but we also ate at sabor and 150 Central Park. Sabor had the best guacamole we had ever had and our dinner at Central Park was Amazing and worth the extra money to dine there! Our kids all had a blast and there was plenty to keep them busy on board. The days at sea we rarely saw them because they were busy on the water slides, flow rider, playing ping pong, zip lining, or just meeting new friends. The only problem with Harmony is that our expectations are so high for our next cruise, I’m not sure if they can be exceeded. Read Less

We recently celebrated my husband's retirement by taking a 7 day cruise on the Harmony of the Seas. Our itinerary included the Eastern Caribbean destinations of Nassau, Bahamas, Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, and Basseterre, St. Kitts. We had two adjacent oceanfront balcony rooms on the 8th deck, and our rooms were toward the front of the ship. The cabin steward did an excellent job of keeping our rooms clean and well-stocked with ice. Most evenings, we dined at Silk, and enjoyed delicious meals and phenomenal service. On one evening, we went to Wonder Land, a specialty restaurant on board. Our dinner at Wonder Land was an amazing experience! The food and the unique manner in which it was presented were incredible. To add to the evening, our family was seated directly in front of the enormous glass windows overlooking the Boardwalk. The view was simply stunning! The cruise provided endless entertainment options for our family of four (including two grown children, ages 21 and 29). We enjoyed the on-board production of Grease so much that we actually saw it twice! We found the comedy shows to be really funny, and we also really enjoyed the juggling / comedy duo. During our sea days, we participated in multiple trivia competitions, scavenger hunts, quizzes, and even Bingo! My husband enjoyed spending time by the pool, and my son enjoyed spending money (and even winning money) in the casino. Our first port was Nassau, Bahamas. We did the Blue Lagoon Island Deluxe Beach Break. This excursion was a pleasant surprise for me. The water was crystal clear and the beach area never felt crowded. We floated and snorkeled, then enjoyed a delicious lunch. It was a very relaxing excursion. Our second port was Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas. We did the St. John Beach and Snorkel excursion. This excursion was a bit disappointing for us. It took approximately 30 minutes via boat to arrive at Trunk Bay. From there, it took approximately 20 minutes via jeep to arrive at the beach for snorkeling. As a result, we had about one hour to actually snorkel. While snorkeling, we saw one large tarpon and schools of bait fish. There was very little coral. The beach was extremely windy, making it impossible to relax and enjoy the sun. In addition, the area had no concessions available due to remaining damage from last year's hurricanes. The area was beautiful, but we did not feel that this excursion was a good value for the cost. Our third port was Basseterre, St. Kitts and our excursion was the St. Kitts Dolphin Experience. This was our favorite excursion, by far! We had multiple opportunities to interact with our dolphin, Angeline. Our animal trainer, Gigi, was very knowledgeable. She made us feel relaxed and comfortable interacting with the dolphin. We highly recommend this excursion to people of all ages. It was one of the highlights of our trip. In conclusion, we thoroughly enjoyed our cruise on the Harmony of the Seas. We would cruise on this ship again in the future, and would seek out new destinations. Read Less

It's our third RC cruise on Oasis line ships and it certainly will not be the last! The architecture and design of the ships is amazing. The cabin is very comfortable and practical. The shows are very good, especially the Columbus. We only used the main restaurants and we were satisfied, especially the attendant Kristina from Russia and the assistant Francisco from Brasil, both very competent and friendly. Another highlight is the cleanliness and conservation in all areas. The stops are interesting, although we already knew the places from another cruise. Some onboard prices are especially exaggerated for the tours, some of dubious quality, like the "Go Native" from Jamaica where we spent more time on the bus than on the stops and the meal was terrible. In Cancun we did the "Dune Buggy and Snorkeling" tour. By the description the tour included a stop on a beach but actually stopped at a restaurant where we had to eat fast by the time. And the snorkeling time was very short. Finally, since we had two seniors in the group, the wheelchair loan process was very time-consuming. But overall, once again, we were pleased with our trip. We are return cruisers with Royal Caribbean, and has yet another amazing experience. Everything from the waitstaff to the port experiences were beyond incredible. We thoroughly enjoyed our Central Park Balcony Stateroom and all of the services we experienced during the week. The bartenders, dining room waitstaff, stateroom attendants, spa staff, activities staff, and the overall ship was an unforgettable experience. We had a great time at Royal Caribbean’s Labadee, Haití port. It was very updated and easily accessible for everyone who disembarked the ship. The disembarkation and re embarkation processes were very organized and smooth at each port. In addition, the Falmouth, Jamaica and Cozumel, Mexico ports were just as enjoyable. We were with a large travel group not directly affiliated with Royal Caribbean, but long-time travelers with the the cruise line. Through our private group, we took excursions in Jamaica and Mexico, which we really enjoyed. Overall, I will always recommend Royal Caribbean to those interested in cruising. Harmony of the Seas to the Western Caribbean offered incredible service and attention to detail, executional excellence in every area. The Grease show the Las Vegas Tenors, and the comedy show are must-sees. Chester, the pianist/singer at Schooners bar is talented and funny! The food in main dining was absolutely delicious every single day! And Chops steakhouse and Johnny Rockets are musts! Breakfast-they had all of our favorites plus fresh squeezed oj if you had the beverage package (I highly recommend). Our cabin was consistently tip-top, I never walked into a dirty bathroom in any are of the ship-I don’t know how they did that! Shopping at the ports was great-attend the jewelry/diamond buying seminars for tips and free stuff!! The service they offered to valet your bags that you want to check and print your boarding pass for $25 per person was well worth it-be sure to budget for that. We just had our carryons with us and went straight to the security checkpoint at the airport. They really think of everything! Read Less

We sailed for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. There were 4 of us (parents, me and DD--age 7) in a 1 bedroom Aqua Theater Suite on deck 14. My father has limited mobility so he traveled using his electric scooter. It was our first suite experience with Royal Caribbean and we were very impressed. Embarkation was smooth and we were on the ship quickly. The ship was outstanding! There was so much to do and the ship was in excellent condition. We'd sailed on Allure of the Seas previously and were very happy with the additions on Harmony. The 1 bedroom Aqua Theater Suite was excellent. The living room was spacious and the sofa bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice with 2 sinks, a shower and a tub. The walk in closet was huge. The balcony was not as big as lower decks, but was still huge. It had a great ocean view and a nice view of the Aqua Theater. There was a dining table with chairs and 2 lounge chairs. The only downside was the long walk to the cabin, but it really wasn't too bad of a walk. We ate most meals in Coast Kitchen. The service and the food at Coastal Kitchen were outstanding! It was a nice atmosphere and the food was fresh and well prepared. We had a couple of breakfasts & lunch at Windjammer. It was nicer than Allure and I never felt crowded/overwhelmed like I did on Allure. The Suite Lounge was a nice treat in the mornings and evenings (happy hour). The entertainment was excellent. We especially liked "Columbus." The water slide lines could get long, but we were able to get a lot of water slide time in first thing in the morning. A lot of the activities, like zipline, flow rider, The Ultimate Abyss, etc. surprisingly never had very long waits. St. Maarten is still struggling with recovery from Irma. I know they need the tourist dollars to recover which is what made me feel so torn about the visit. We did a shore excursion through a separate vendor. Adjustments were made to the itinerary because of the healing that is still going on (that's how they refer to the recovery there). Marigot is definitely in much worse shape than Philipsburg. In general, there is still major destruction all over. I feel for the people as they still have a very long road ahead. San Juan was in better shape than I expected. I know it's not as good outside the cities, but Old San Juan was great. Labadee was a fun beach day! We did the water slide and roller coaster. The coaster was a cool experience, but we wouldn't do it again. The locals in all the ports were so nice and really appreciated the tourism! DD loved Adventure Ocean! They had a lot of kids, but did a great job with them! The scooter allowed my father to see and do a lot more than he could ever have done without it, but it did provide some challenges. There were some large bumps on the gangway that made it difficult to navigate. Also, getting an elevator with enough space for the scooter could be challenging. Overall the service was outstanding! We only had one negative crew member interaction the entire week which is amazing considering the number of crew members. The only other negative thing was the temperature some of the public areas. The hallways, elevators and elevator lobbies were always very warm/hot. I don't recall it being nearly this bad on Allure. We would definitely sail on Harmony again! Read Less

Harmony of the Seas has an amazing customer service! In addition, the room service was exceptional too! This ship also provides great entertainment for kids; pools, golf, game room, kids club and water slides. It is very clean and modern. The night shows are excellent. I loved the Fine Line, and the ice skating "1887" ,except in my opinion, GREASE, because it has too much dialog. I had breakfast at the solarium every day and we would have dinner sometimes at the Grande. The buffet had a lot more people on it but if you go at the right time , when it is starting you can get a good seating. I love how the food was always fresh and diverse. The pools were pretty fool, so I decided to go when people got out on the ports. This time we only visited Labadee and we like it. I will definitely 100% recommend this ship. Read Less

We had not sailed on a giant ship previously, so this was a new experience for us. Yes, the ship is bigger, which means more walking and larger crowds at the buffet, but the larger ship means they are able to put on more professional entertainment and a larger assortment of other activities. We were a party of 12, and all of our cabins were very nicely designed and maintained by the cabin staff. Our dining room staff was beyond excellent, even to the point of anticipating our requests. The shows, Grease and Columbus were very well done. As I mentioned, the larger ship gives them the ability to do more that they could on a smaller ship. The RoyalIQ app needs lots of work and those that had it complained endlessly about the WiFi. When you are charging as much as cruise lines do, you deserve better quality of service. Overall, we were very satisfied with our experience and would not hesitate to book on this ship again. Read Less

There are many activities that can bring peace or excitement for all ages such as Central Park and the boardwalk. The only thing I would give as a down is to make the cruise longer because I just couldn’t get enough! Just amazing. Read Less

Had 3 boardwalk balconies which we took down the divider to make 1 large balcony. Was on deck 14 this time, but previously on 8 and prefer 8 as we like to people watch and we were able to see the aqua theater better. Had my time dining and we did not care for that. We went to windjammer for quite a few dinners. Service was great in every area. Shows were wonderful except Columbus, no one cared for that. The ports were all good. We did the excursions on our own as RC is a little pricey. Not enough time at The Bahamas especially since it was a Sunday and arrived at 7am till 2pm. We got the photo package and always just gave the same room number so we ended up with about 350 pictures. Overall a great time was had by all. Read Less

Try it out and you will love it when cruising with Royal Caribbean Harmony of the Sea. Great ship and out standing entertainment. Excellent embarkation and disembarkation. The best cruise ship in the whole world. I love Royal Harmony of the Sea. Excellent service at the main dinning room especially wait staffs and the host members at the main dinning room. Flexible my time dinning. Lots and lots of great activities that are going on during my seven days cruising that start from early morning until late at night. Great customer service. Many different shore excursions to choose. My wife and kid are really enjoyed this seven days cruise trip. We have met a new group of friends and had a great time party onboard. We would love to go cruising with Royal Caribbean Harmony of the Sea again. Thank you for all the hard working crew staffs on Harmony of the Sea. Read Less

the Harmony was run like a fine tuned violin. Embarkation and Disembarkation were so smooth and easy ....the ship was clean, the cabin was large and the view from my balcony was fabulous, whether a sea view or the view of the ports of call. Dining was a pleasure in all BUT Jamie Oliver's restaurant, where the server loomed over our table, interrupted our questions, and walked away when asked questions....our meal was rushed and the food was nothing like what it was described on the menu ... the truffle pasta was truffle deficient and I could not taste anything but cream sauce, it was barely warm, our other meals were only slightly warm, my grandsons filet was to be med rare and was well done and arrived when the rest of us were almost done our meal .... extremely disappointing . ALL other places onboard that we ate at were all 5 star meals, and 5 star service! My grandsons had a blast doing everything that they were of age to do (12 and 14) while my son and daughter in law and I enjoyed the casino and the trivia challenges and overall loved just cruising on Harmony. Ports of Call were run smoothly and efficiently and great fun. I would definitely return to Harmony of the Seas Eastern Caribbean Cruise. Hopefully I will be back again. Thanks Harmony of the Seas for a happy vacation full of memories and family time to be cherished. Read Less
