Great Cruise but Crowded

We arrived to the Cocoa Beach area the day before embarkation. It was a nice, sunny day, with temperatures in in the low 70's so we decided to spend the afternoon at Jetty Park. It costs $15 per car for the entire day. They have restaurants there to grab a bite to eat, or you can pack a lunch and picnic. After a relaxing day at the beach, we went to Fishlips to have dinner and watch the cruise ...

Bigger Is Not Better

My sister turned 40 and I surprised her with a cruise. She had always wanted to sail on one of the biggest ships. The ship was absolutely beautiful, modern and clean. Our room Steward and dining room Waiter and his Assistant were fabulous. Embarkation/disembarkation was extremely quick and very smooth. On the downside, the food was edible with the exception of my raw hamburger. I can honestly say ...

We' cruised on the Allure out of Ft Lauderdale the past two years and wanted to try a new new ship. We traveled to CoCo Cay, St Thomas and St Marteen on the trip. OUr daughter and her best friend just graduated from college and the trip was a gift to them. We took the Cortrans shuttle service from the Embassy Suites airport hotel in Orlando to the cruise port and from the cruise port to the ...

Nice ship but the solo gatherings were disappointing.

Just completed my ninth cruise overall and my first as a solo cruiser. Was very disappointed at the solo gathering. No one showed up the first gathering. At the the first solo and and single lunch two other people showed up (Roy and Sara). Sara was delightful. Never say Roy again. This Asthmatic hated the smoking in the Casino. This is a problem across all Cruise Lines (except Disney (no ...

First and possibly last

This was my first time ever cruising and probably my last with Royal Caribbean. Most of the restaurant servers are wonderful, very friendly and professional. Most of the housekeeping staff are great and the rooms and the ship are impeccably clean considering there's 6000 people on board. The cruise director was hilarious. Everyone else needs to return to customer service training or get a better ...

Just a few thoughts re. traveling on this ship with 4 kids -- ages 12 to 4. We stayed in the ultra spacious family suite, room 11528. We loved it, it was really spacious. It had bunk beds behind a curtain, a couch that had a trundle, and a king size bed. Also, a walk in closet that was so nice. The kids loved to sit in the porthole windows. A few tips that worked for us: we loved the ...

Royal Caribbean – Harmony of the Seas – 8/11 to 8/18/18 Celebrating our 30-year anniversary, we decided to go on a cruise as we did on our honeymoon. We had a wonderful week!! Although there were little things to nitpick, RC did a great job handling the 6600 people on board. Embarkation was simple as long as you complete everything online before sailing. Don't waste your money on the ...

Poker tournament director a dink. First tournament I could not join because 5 min late. 2nd tourment one player short and he canceled 9 minutes after published start time. Main dining waits long. Only spent two days at ships pools but seen over 20 people fall on slippery deck. So dangerous. Complete incompetence to use such a slippery surface. Food in windjammers average. Chops and other ...

Wanted to try a different cruise line.Nicely decorated and clean stateroom. They do this thing that requires you to put your door key in the light switch. If you remove it all the lights cut off. Problematic if you leave and someone is in the restroom. Our Housekeeper Winston was awesome and a genuine pleasure to see each day. Those folks work hard. My three biggest issues are first, I could not ...

Absolutely Fantastic!

Harmony of the Seas June 2018 Absolutely fantastic! My husband and I had avoided the BIG ships previously because of concerns about overcrowding. We shouldn’t have worried. I kept asking the crew where they hide all the people. This time, with 3 grandkids along, we wanted lots of active options for ages 16 -21. There were so many different venues (something for everyone) that I documented ...
