Food on MSC- problematic

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on MSC Seaside

The MSC Seaside is a nice enough ship, we saw good entertainment on board, and our excursions purchased through MSC were great. We chose the ship because of the itinerary. The FOOD on MSC, however, was a massive disappointment- our rating score reflects how we feel about our food experience. Both in the Main Dining Room and in the buffet, our food was often not hot enough, bland, or ...

Although izzit international cruise, but the food was not international. Terrible food, Food was cold, and cruise was quite old, casino is very small. And we had to queue long time for the food. Food was really bad on the ship. Repeated food for breakfast and lunch buffets. And no assistant to guide us about the room key, coz we are bunch of elderly, don’t know how to read instruction, no ...

Well I love seaside , we were cruising on February 2024. It was a different cruise from Guadeloupe than from Miami. Majority of cruisers were French , English was the minority. They actually told us one day in the guest services line we were in the French line up! What!!! I was taken to another service desk. Lol. Glad I did the port stops but won't do it again. (Stops were, Dominica, St ...

MSC Preziosa review: was on 7 days, just got back. St Lucia, Barbados, Grenada, Martinique, St Vincent, Trinidad, & got on & off in Guadeloupe. Re ship: super clean, staff always cleaning, really spotless, made everyone getting on ship & before meals use sanitizer, which was an excellent idea. Layout: was travelling with 9 others & everyone got lost at some point. Only decks 7&14 went from ...

A waste of time and money

Our 3 main reasons for choosing a cruise were: 1) Relaxation, 2) good food, and 3) experiencing foreign cultures. Unfortunately we did't get any of it! Ad 1), The moment we entered the ship we found out that hundreds of young people were on board as well, and they had brought their own music, which they played loudly and constantly, especially around the pool-areas, so if you were more than 25 ...

We have chosen the itinerary not the ship but as the agency recommended this ship as a 5 stars from Costa fleet I expected the best of it. Well unfortunately expectations were far too high compared to reality. First of all is not a 5 stars and if I take the quality of the cabin and restaurant grounds is not even 4, I would give it a maximum of 3. The whole ship looks like it would have been ...

Wanted to find an itinerary that suited everyone. We were a group of 6 adults with 3 children and wanted to leave after xmas. We flew with Air Transat (cruise and flight package) embarked in Guadeloupe for a 7 day cruise which included Tortola, St-Maarten, Dominica, St-Kitts, Antigua and Martinique. We had 3 balcony staterooms on deck 11. The ship is nice, many bars and lounges. Elevators were ...

Disorganized

We took this cruise from Guadalupe for seven days. Ship is great and very modern. The main issue we had was that everything is so disorganized. You can ask the same question to numerous employees and get a different answer each time. We spent a good part of our vacation resolving issues. Another issue was with the restaurants. Very ordinary food and in small quantities. Again, disorganized service ...

We chose this 2 week cruise at Christmas because of the amazing itinerary. It visited some islands we hadn't visited before, including Guadeloupe, where we wanted to do the "Death in Paradise" tour, going to the locations used in the TV series. The ship didn't offer this but we booked an excellent tour through Viator. The ship looked clean and the decor was stylish, but our inside cabins 12135 ...
