Beautiful ship, but it's a one and done.

Review for Disney Wish to Bahamas

The ship is nice. It still has the new car smell. If you're a previous Disney cruiser, it may have been a let down. If you're a new Disney cruiser, you may have loved it. It was a good cruise, but I wasn't sad to leave. What's good: Beautiful/well-themed venues New food, finally - if you know, you know Huge variety of specialty drinks for venues crew - very helpful no aft ...

Disney Wish four-day cruise September 2022

This was our eighth Disney cruise (and 27th cruise in total), and first on the Wish. Travelling as two adults and no kids We were so excited when the Wish reservations opened up, we booked right away for a trip in September - little lower price and a few less kids. I must admit some months after the initial booking when the final payment was due, I did have second thoughts on how expensive it ...

some aspects were very disappointing

We went on this sailing as a family member was part of the entertainment on the ship. From the beginning it was most difficult to contact a live body to answer questions not answered on their website. Was on hold for over 4 hours! The navigator app was another challenge, not to mention uploading information the the app that required copies of vaccination card and current covid test. The ...

Cruised concierge Rm 13010 Sept 5th to the 9th on the Wish. My review are short and to the point. Arrival: All our paper work was complete prior to arrival and no one really bothered to look at it. Concierge check in was a breeze with limited wait, we were on board and eating lunch by 11:45am, room was ready by 12:45! State Room 13010: Room is very clean and a good size, split shower and ...

BAD - Expensive, Terrible Service, Kids Only

Beautiful new boat saturated with Disney IP. The design of this boat is fully targeted towards children, especially those under 10 and as there are lots of spaces and activities for them. But for adults there is not much but chopped up and spread out all over the place small locations, extra free drinking/tasting experiences and mediocre food (even at their signature premium dinning restaurant ...

A brand new outdated ship?

Review for Disney Wish to Bahamas

How is that even possible? I feel this is almost blasphemy to even criticize DCL, but i was in awe how ordinary the ship. To be clear, I had a good time, but that was due to our kids having a good time, while I gauge the overall DCL experience on their new flagship, the Wish. I was looking forward to taking our kids on this cruise since last year when we first purchased the tickets. We sat in ...

First time on the Wish

We sailed out of Port Canaveral and stopped at Nassau and Castaway Cay. I goofed earlier and thought we had to complete the safepassage stuff before we could check in so I ended up with a pretty late arrival time (1:45PM). I kept checking and was able to get a 1:30 arrival time about 3 days before the cruise. Due to various timings in dropping off my rental car and taking the shuttle I arrived at ...

The long anticipated Disney Wish. I still have mixed feelings about the Disney Wish having sailed on other Disney Ships over 10 times. Embarkation- Not much change here at Port Canaveral, slightly later start. Rooms-Beautiful decor-no complaints Ship Layout and Decor-beautiful and different. Some will love it, some will hate it. Buffett-About the same as the Dream in my opinion, ...

Maiden Voyage of The Disney Wish

Review for Disney Wish to Bahamas

While we were on the Maiden and did receive a few perks, I'll focus on our over all feel if it was a normal sailing. Oh wow, what a beautiful ship. I will confess, we've only been on DCL, so I have no reference to other lines, but from what some others were saying, it does remind them of a few other lines with some of the layout. There have been a lot more negative reviews being shared, but if ...
