Wonderful 14-day cruise down the Mississippi River for my wife and I.
This was a retirement celebration re-scheduled from the same cruise last year which was cancelled due to Covid.

The American Countess is a beautiful clean new ship. The ship has large windows in the library and card rooms to watch the river, and lots of chairs on decks. I went down the Mississippi from Memphis to New Orleans. I have some foot problems and the company provide a golf cart at every landing to take people from the ship to the excursion bus, so I availed myself of that service. I loved every ...

This was the third actual cruise for the American Empress after the reopening. We started from Clarkston WA and sailed down the Snake and Columbia Rivers. The cruise was fairly full and the crew was slightly short handed. But the officers and assigned people filled in marvelously well.
