We chose this cruise because it would visit Charleston SC. Unfortunately, we did not recognize that it was Easter break for many children.
We had not been to Charleston or Miami in many years. We loved Charleston when we first visited there. Charleston is still a lovely place to see and we enjoyed our tour of the city.
We stayed aboard the ship in Orlando and had a quiet day. Miami was a bit chaotic both on our tour and in the city.
Nassau is Nassau, always the same but that can be good, because we have special places we stop at every time we visit. Nassau is always pretty, the weather is always beautiful for us and it's a lively place with lots of life going on.
We missed CoCoCay this time due to winds that prevented tendering everyone over to the island.
The Grandeur has great staff, friendly, caring and always ready with a smile.
I did see the security staff always present to deal with any incidents anywhere on the ship.
If it hadn't been for the noise and chaos of 500 children onboard getting wilder and wilder each day, it would have been a perfect cruise. We still love children, and the Grandeur but will just double check our calendar from now on before booking a cruise. Read Less
