All aspects of this cruise were GREAT. The Cruise director was the best we had ever encountered. Here are the negatives........ Spa attendants were VERY condescending, the ONLY member of that spa team that was nice and helpful was the tall young male that worked there. The Casino could have been a better experience only because it was seriously UNDERstaffed. No change machines and not enough cashiers. (only ONE!!! at any given time) The Art auction was horrible. We bought 3 works of Art on our last cruise (Anthem) and NONE on this one. (Grandeur) It was soooo high pressure, and the ladies were SO incredibly FAKE. You can tell when someone is being friendly in a fake way and this was BLATANT. Dining, entertainment, cabin service, the ease of getting around this ship and the ports of call made this a great cruise. Everything else about this cruise was wonderful except those two areas mentioned above. Read Less

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary having never been to Charleston, SC, Cape Canaveral, or Miami, and the fact that we could drive to the Baltimore terminal. Our cabin was very roomy and clean and our cabin steward was very good and accommodating We chose to eat in the main dining room for our dinners and were very pleased with the selections and quality of the food. Our dining room stewards were very good, polite, and very informative. We enjoyed the Windjammer Cafe for our breakfasts and lunches even though we had to walk the length of the ship to get there from our cabin. We feel the way this cafe was set up was much more user friendly than other ships that we have been on. We walked Charleston in the AM and took a bus excursion in the afternoon which gave us the opportunity to view much of the city which is very beautiful with lots of historical buildings, We took the 6 hr excursion to the Kennedy Space Center and were in awe of the history and all that we were able to view. Our tour guide was informative and the bus took us to Saturn 5 first, then to the Visitor Center and we were able to explore on our own until it was time to meet the bus to return to the ship. We did not have any planned excursions for the remainder of the trip. We did walk around the terminal area in Miami but with a record breaking 91 degree day, we didn't stay out too long.. We walked the shops in Nassau the first day, and visited Atlantis the second day. Atlantis does not allow visitors to see much without a pass, but they do allow you in the casino. The straw market has changed since we were last there in the early 80's. Now in a closed building and quite dark and if one is claustrophobic, not the place to be. The taxis wish to fill their minivans before moving on so one sits and waits for other passengers. This is only the second time we have sailed Royal Caribbean. We found that they could have had better directions and information on the ship and were lacking some coordination with their activities. At some times the planned activities did not take place where it was noted in the daily news. They also do not provide any world news, so one does not know what is going on in the world unless one is connected to the Internet. We did attend the two premier shows-one of "Britain's Finest" and the other "The Las Vegas Tenors" who were excellent. Embarkation and Disembarkation went smoothly. All in all, it was a good trip for us and we are senior citizens. Read Less

I absolutely love this ship! It's small, which provides a level of intimacy that you don't get on the big ships. You bond with the crew and they become family. They have always bent over backwards to make our vacations the best ever! Remember though, you get what you give. If you treat them with respect and and kind you will get so much more than the norm! Leaving from the port of Baltimore is so easy and convenient. No flying required. Cabins are clean and neat! Dining is amazing! If you walk away hungry it's your own fault. From the eggs to the lobster the food is the best! There are so many activities that you can't get bored. There are things for kids to the elderly. I highly recommend this ship, RCI and the port of Baltimore for your next cruise. 12 days is a lot to pack for. Being able to pull up, have a porter take your luggage, park your car, walk into the terminal, register, then walk onto the ship... No better way to travel! Read Less

We sailed on Royal Caribbean's Grandeur of the Sea from March 24th-April 6th, 2018. We had three couples in our party and had planned this 12-night South Caribbean cruise for two years. We went out of Baltimore Maryland, and continue down to St Thomas, Antigua, St Lucia, Saint Kitts & Nevi, and St Maartens. The seas were a bit rocky on one of the nights down and one night back, but other than that smooth sailing. Overall the cruise was absolutely fantastic! It was a relief to see that these islands, at least the ones that were affected by last September's hurricanes, had come a long way in their recovery. We had excursions planned on the first four islands and decided to do our own thing on Saint Maartens. Royal Caribbean seems to have a very solid relationship with their excursions, as all were well run and enjoyable Do not miss ziplining through the rainforest in St Lucia it kayaking & snorkeling in Antigua! Both were affordable, beautiful and so much fun. While Grandeur of the Sea is one of Royal Caribbean's older boats and it's their smallest ship, there's something great about it. You will not find a friendlier or more helpful staff. From the room attendants to the dining room staff to the activities people, all go out of their way to help you have a fun and memorable time. The Palladium shows at night offer top-notch entertainment! From music/singers to dancers to comedians to ventriloquism to an awesome hypnotist....all were excellent. Something for everyone. The food in The Great Gatsby dining room is 5-star. Your will think you are eating in a luxury restaurant every night. The Windjammer is the buffet dining room, also good, but definitely more of what you'd expect from a buffet. The variety is huge there. The Park Cafe also offers up a lighter fare... Usually sandwiches, salads and a few different desserts. My only complaint is the coffee! If you like high-intensity-BOLD-espresso-will-grow-hair-on-your-chest-like coffee, then you'll be fine. They do have a small Starbucks cafebin Latte-tudes, but I'm not much of a Starbucks fan, either. I wish they offered a less intense coffee.... But for that being the only real complaint, I won't complain too loudly. I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone who wants a really relaxing, longer cruise. The price cannot be beat for everything you are getting. Read Less

The grand mother recommended the cruise with Royal Caribbean. The good food was great the staff where friendly the room attendant was great the waiter in the dinning room was great. The bad 2 broken hot tubs, Broken ice cream machine, unwashed windows, and rust abounding on the exterior of the ship. Now the Ugly I dropped my children off at the teen center on the ship for a "in room scavenger hunt" as described in the teen flyer. I come to find out it was a all over the ship scavenger hunt how easy at 10 pm. at night would it be for teen to be abducted and raped and thrown overboard? Brought the issue to guest services it was never addressed!!!!!!! More ugly RC claimed a port of call at coco cay which I hear from others frequently is cancelled so they flat out lied and offered no other port of call. Last of the ugly Shore excursions were great but very short not a good value. Read Less

Friends recommended Royal Caribbean. We also sailed with Royal Caribbean twenty years ago, and had a wonderful trip. The shows were top notch, as good as I have seen in Vegas or New York. Entertainment staff was was vibrant and professional. A highlight of our trip was on our final evening in the Centrum when they honored our veterans , police and firefighters. It was a rewarding and emotional tribute to those who give so much. It brought tears to both of us, our son and fathers all served in our military as other family members, living and deceased. It was as if they were all being honored through this gesture by Grandeur of the Seas, it became very personal for us. Staff professionalism and interaction with passengers made for a comfortable and pleasant day to day experience. We limited shore excursions to beach trips. Dining was fulfilling and delicious, Staff was unprecedented. Cabin staff was accommodating, pleasant and service oriented as well as professional. We have been relating our experience to family and friends since our return home. Thank you Royal Caribbean for a relaxing and rewarding trip. Read Less

Chose the cruise for the ports, but several were dropped when it changed from 9 to 7 days. We still had a great time. The crew aboard the Grandeur were awesome. Casino folks were pleasant and treated my son and I courteously. Our room attendant, Iketut was tremendous. The waitstaff at the main dining seating, Stevan & Marko did a great job and the food was enjoyable. The shows we caught were a display of some very talented folks. The Tango Bueno Ares was spectacular. We did not know how they were able to move their legs and feet in so many directions and not injuring themselves or each other. Our cabin was 4510 ,near the front, but we had no issues even during the rough sea days. We ate at Chops, Giavannis & Izumi. Great service and the food was outstanding at each of them. We particularly enjoyed a lunch and a dinner at Izumi. The brunch at Giavanni was great and was followed by a galley tour. Even with the cruise changes due to the mechanical issue, Royal made the shortened cruise a great one. Read Less

We decided to take this cruise for our daughter who will be graduating from College this May and give her some time to relax and get ready for her final semester. Due to mechanical problems the cruise wa extended 2 days and ended up being a 11 night cruise. The weather was not the greatest but you really can't control that. This ship is one of the older ships of RCCL and it is starting to show its age. I don't know how true it is but I was told by one of the staff members that it is up for sale along with its sister ship. The cabin was in good shape and our Stateroom Atendent appeared to go out of his way to provide use with any of our needs. I would like to first compliment Royal Caribbean employees we interacted with during the cruise. I would have to say they were so friendly and helpful and performed above and beyond of what I had expected. I must say that our Waiter Roderick and Assistant Waiter Partomuan were by far the best group of waiters I have ever had on any cruise. They were beyond excellent. The staff in the stores were also very friendly and helpful. We were disappointed in a few things. First of all the food served in the main dining room I felt was very substandard for any previous cruise I have ever taken. In May of last year my wife and I were on the Majesty of the Seas and in November 2016 we cruised on Viking and I must say that the dinners were fantastic. Actually we felt that Majesty had better dinners than Viking. This cruise however it was not. It appeared that the quality of the food being served was not of the quality I would have expected or of what we found on Majesty just 7 months earlier or the other RCCL cruises we have taken. The best meals we found in the main dining room were breakfast. Lunches were at the same level as dinner. When talking with others cruisers they also agreed with me. This was one of the reasons I have traveled RCCL because of the fine dining that is offered in the Main Dining Room. I noticed all during the cruise that staff was trying to sell us Specialty dining options,. It makes me wonder if they have lowered the quality the of the food in the main dining room to push these dining options? The Windjammer we found to be very good but it appeared that there were fewer selections than we have seen on other RCCL cruises The staff were excellent. Another problem we found was the casino. Grandeur allows smoking in it. This is the only place inside were people can smoke and found it very poorly controlled. There were no smoking areas in the casino but it was completely ignored by smokers making the smell of smoke very unbearable. The staff of the casino made no efforts to stop smokers from smoking in designated non smoking areas. My daughter who came on the trip and is slightly asthmatic sometimes could not remain in the casino for any length of time due to the heavy odor of smoke. A few times she had to take her meds because of breathing problems. I cannot see why smoking is allowed there in the first place in that all you have to do is walk out the casinos entrances and there are doors to the outside deck adjacent. The entertainment was very good and there was a different show every night. In the centrum there was constant entertainment and activities going on all night and was enjoyable to watch and listen. We took shore excursions at each stop thru RCCL and found them to meet our expectations and we all enjoyed them. Read Less

Having taken 3 trips of the over 5,000 guests mega ships we keep coming back . We were travelling with 2 couples The Port of Baltimore is convenient for us to fly into from Buffalo. This vacation was a 12 day trip visited 5 islands and really enjoyed relaxing with days at sea Due to the hurricanes, St. Thomas was not really ready for tourists, the other 4 ports of call Antigua, St Lucia, Martinique and St Kitts were excellent. Grandeur was kept very clean but it can use some updating. My time dining - Staff knew our names wow. Food was very good Some of the dance shows could use a refresh We all Enjoyed the sauna , it was always working, clean and available. The exercise room is much too small when in full use. I chose this cruise for several reasons. Our first cruise was with,Royal Caribbean, second with Carnival. The Royal Caribbean cruise was so much better we decided to go back. The dates worked well with our schedule and I really liked the idea of a 9- night cruise. Baltimore is only a 3- hour drive and this made it appealing. Embarkation and disembarkation was extremely easy and most of the personnel were friendly. The food quality in the main dinning room was mediocre. The presentation of the food was nice but was often bland and lacked seasoning. Even food promoted as spicy was plain. We were also disappointed that there were fewer free restaurant options. You should not have to pay extra money for good food, that's one of the main reason you choose a cruise over other vacations. Stay away from the art auction, staff is very pushy, fake and aggressive. However the service throughout the rest of the ship was outstanding especially Leah and Dejan in the main dining room. The Casino staff was helpful patient while explaining the various games. Paul the Cruise Director was wonderful and the entertainers were fantastic. We really had a good time and definitely would go back again. Read Less

Leaving from Baltimore was a breeze. Stayed at the Best Western right up the highway from the pier, right off 95, the night before. Free shuttle to pier and parking was included for the 13 days. Check in was quick and easy. We were on the ship by 10:45am and felt like we gained an extra day. Crew was very friendly as were other shipmates! We had a room just off the Centrum, so everything was quick and easy to get to on the ship. Ate in the Windjammer for breakfast (opened at 6:30am) and lunch. Very good variety of foods every day. Ate at Park Café when back on the ship later after an excursion. Had early, 5:30, seating for dinner in Main Dining room. Staff was friendly in MDR, but service inconsistent. Timing off a few nights. Food was good, but not exceptional. Big push to get you to go to specialty restaurants, but we have excellent Italian and steak houses nearby, so we were not interested. Two nights the same steaks from the specialty restaurant were discounted and could be served in main dining room. Filet for $10 and T-bone for $16. Wide variety of shows; comedian, singers, dancers, pianist, juggler, ventriloquist, hypnotist. Plenty of activities. Big screen on pool was not used that much. Wished they had shown a film on sea days, but it was short clips of mostly blooper type activities. Pool is small in both open deck and solarium, so it did get crowded in afternoon. Chairs easy to secure. No issues there. Ports were great and easy off and on. St Kitts we were berthed at an alternative commercial port so taxi needed to access shops which left many folks not too happy. I tried one RC excursion in Antigua and was not happy as we had wait for late folks who actually were already on the bus. Lack of communication. Private excursion through Viator was excellent in Martinique. Shared taxi for beaches in St Kitts, Barbados. Went on own in St Lucia which made taxi ride more expensive, but beaches were great. Always felt welcomed on all the islands. Read Less

The night life was always exciting, and the staff was outgoing, friendly, and warm. The entertainment on the cruise was top quality. I especially liked the forever elvis shows. Each show was different, but both shows were high energy and the performers were great sports. I often saw elvis or one of his band members taking picture with the guests! (myself included) our cabin was comfortable, plenty of room for the two of us. The ship was impeccably clean as well as our room. We even had a different towel animal left in our room each night! We found the drink package royal caribbean offers to be well worth it. We were excited to see these ports in Canada and New England, all of them new to us. Definitely a trip I had looked forward to, celebrating our 45th anniversary and a birthday. Some of the things they could have managed were smoother transitions for tours off the ship. Maybe special accommodations for handicap accessible needs, such as a bus for their slower pace. Why show a skateboarding and bmx video almost 24-7 for such a senior crowd? Help the visiting speaker with his video and technology issues ahead of time. Dr. Thomas Ryan was disorganized, slides were too small, technically challenged. Keep the photographers from attacking you. Don't interrupt dinner to up sale the other dining rooms. The art work on many levels was not desirable. Have a quiet public space available at all times, even when at sea. Some staff members were amazing, others could have been more helpful when there was a need. The review said the ship was remodeled. I am not sure where. The emissions control that was blocked off looked like a long on going endeavor. Some things were out of the cruise lines control, such as limited fall colors, due to weather patterns. Boston was over crowded with way too many tourists to enjoy the city or really see the sites. Many of the passengers on the ship had physical limitations, which inhibited movement about the ship and on excursions. Read Less

We chose Grandeur of the Seas based on a previous cruise on it to Bermuda - TOP tier entertainment; not so much this cruise. Staff in the main dining room were absolutely EXCEPTIONAL but the food was typically not not though the staff would quickly remedy that. The ship was probably a 9 out of 10 on cleanliness - the cabin was a 10 on cleanliness and upkeep by the steward. The ports and excursions - two out of four were interesting and two were boring. The worst part of the cruise was being told that no Accessible Rooms were available, AFTER being told I had one. Then, encountering a woman who was upset because she was put in an Accessible Room, and told when she asked for another room that "none were available." Meanwhile, I had asked if RC would check to see if there were Accessible Rooms given to people who did not NEED one, and I was told they would check that, but ultimately, I was told that none were available to switch with. While our cabin was clean and well tended to, it was terribly cramped and using the shower was a nightmare. Apparently, once assigned a room, Royal Caribbean will NOT even attempt to get you into an appropriate room. The did take the coffee table out of our cabin to make SOME room for my power wheelchair. The cabin was given an "Excellent" rating because, while too small, it was tended too by a VERY accommodating steward. Read Less

Love the friendliness of the crew, fantastic Captain with a great sense of humor! Itinerary was great. I did a B2B Canada/New England followed by Bermuda. When you go to the Centrum bar look up Madagascar, best bar tender in the fleet. Food was mainly good, some meals could be improved upon. Deck 4 is the best deck in my opinion, right off the Centrum, close to dining room and embarkation/debarkation elevators etc. I had an interior cabin as ship was booked, NEVER AGAIN, they are small and very dry. My eyes are still recovering from the dryness as is my skin! You will love Captain Andre, he has his 2 little ones with him and 1 made an announcement for us to spend lots of money so her Dad could make more money to buy her and her little brother presents, lol. This cruise was perfect in almost every way. Embarkation: Easy breezy in Baltimore. The port authority staff was friendly and helpful. We dropped our luggage on a wagon, and walked in to fill out paperwork. We arrived at the port at 11 am and walked right onto the Grandeur within 15 minutes. Ship: As previously stated in other reviews, the Grandeur is a bit older and does show some wear. However, the ship was clean and well-kept. Cabin: 3753. This was our first time on an "inside" cabin and it was perfect for our use. Dark and quiet at night made for great sleeping. We had plenty of closet and drawer space. Our stateroom attendant (Bruce aka Ambrocio) kept our room incredibly clean and tidy and was super friendly. We did a combined bed (two twins together.) That was a minor complaint: the beds were a bit firm for my taste and there was the crack down the middle where the beds joined. Someone said you could ask for an egg crate topper which maybe we would do next time. Dining: For breakfast we went to the Windjammer a few times which was good, but since we are not huge breakfast eaters, we were very happy with the Park Cafe for egg sandwiches and a fruit cup. Lunch we ate off the ship, or the dining room on sea days. For dinner, we enjoyed the dining room My Time Dining. The food was good and the service was INCREDIBLE! Hats off to the Serving staff! By the end of the week however, we were getting a bit tired of the two hour sit-down formality and ventured to the Windjammer for dinner. Let me tell you that we were quickly won over as we were enjoyed our Indian food: special of the day. Special thanks to Umesh and Song for excellent service. We went to dinner at the Windjammer every night thereafter. Entertainment/Activities: SUPERIOR Entertainment!! The theater had a variety of shows from comedians to a trumpet player and juggler. Also, fun times were provided by Cruise Director and assistant (Cruisin' Susan and Tino) who were fabulous. Susan had us crackin' up at Quest and dancin' at the disco party and Tino did an incredible INCREDIBLE Michael Jackson impersonation. WOW!! I wish I had that on video. Thanks for your humor and for getting the crowd involved in the fun. Read Less

Our oceanview cabin 2064 was excellent. It was very clean, the bed was firm. There was plenty of storage space available in the closet, the drawers and in the bathroom. The dining on the ship was also very good. The Windjammer buffet offered the usual cruise like food. There was plenty of variety to choose from. The food was very fresh. Dining in the Great Gatsby dining room was great! The food was definitely gourmet. It was well prepared and presented. The dining room staff was very attentive. Greeted you with smiles throughout dinner. They made sure that you enjoyed your meal. The ship had plenty activities to choose from. You can relax at the sun deck, shop, or engage in the activities that were offered. We did not travel with children. I can't comment about the children's activities or services because we didn't use them. The age group on the ship varied from 25-70. Definitely an adult like cruise. The port at Bermuda Heritage Wharf was very nice and clean. It offers shopping and snorkel beach for those who did not want to venture out to Horshoe Bay upon arrival. Definitely do the excursion to Horseshoe Bay. It is absolutely beautiful. We were docked for two days. We chose to relax, however there are plenty of tours offered. It was a FANTASTIC cruise. The Great Gatsby restaurant provided a good dining experience. There were facilities like a gymnasium, table tennis, shovel board and jogging track to help keep the people in 'ship shape'. The cruise liner itself was in good order, having been renovated a few years ago. The process of embarkation and disembarkation was well organised and quick. The staff knew exactly what needed to be done. The shore excursions were expensive and therefore, most people decided to go out on their own. Prefer Guy Fieri burgers, Mexican buffet, 24 hour made to order pizza, fresh deli, fresh salad bar with lots of choices that Carnival has to offer. Definitely an older, non-fun crowd on Grandeur. Carnival is the FUNship! Septic smell on Grandeur was not very nice. Not enough evening entertainment choices - only one choice during each time slot. Wayfinder was very nice! Solarium was way too hot and was indoors. Love the Carnival Serenity deck. Shows on Grandeur were good. Nexus 4 band was good. Speciality restaurants too over space that could have been used for other entertainment venues. Cruise Director was good, but some of the other activities staff were annoying. Rooms much smaller on Grandeur compared to Carnival Pride. After 14 Carnival cruises, decided to try this RC cruise. Definitely going back to Carnival. Read Less

We enjoyed the cruise very much. Food was very good and had many choices. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. Casino was filled with smoke and made it unbearable for a non smoker to stay in there for any period of time. Entertainment was excellent, especially Nexus 4. Ship was clean and very smooth sailing. I would have rather have gone to Hamilton, Bermuda than Kings Wharf. The shower in the room was very small and wonder how some people were able to use it at all. We are vegetarians and could have used a better selection in the main dining room. The Windjammer Restaurant was a buffet and much more of a selection during each meal. The ship was well maintained and had many activities for the evening. Could have used more inside activities during the day (not at poolside). Service was excellent and again very friendly. Overall we would take another Royal Caribbean Cruise in the future. Read Less

I was not excited about driving into Baltimore Harbor but found the access eased by signage and staff at hand. Parking lot was tricky. More direction could be given when paying the parking fee when entering. Overall, my accommodations with my daughter were excellent. The Stateroom attendant immediately noticed a light out and had it taken care of when we entered. The dining staff, main dining room, remembered our names and greeted us each evening. Problems we encountered: extremely hot water, be careful. Announcements by the crew were too loud and fast, considering the dialect as well. Could not absorb what was said. Dining very good, but some entrees were not enjoyed as much, though eaten. I liked seeing how the ship was anchored at each port, and for a fee, you can see how the ship is operated, met some of the crew, learned how the meals were prepared for so many, the bakery, the laundry, how the trash is prepared for pickup back in Baltimore, etc. Entertainment offered variety for all ages. Liked the least was shore excursions and I would advise choosing carefully, maybe not planning them at all and waiting until embarking each shore and talking with tour guides there. Look at all options for getting around if you choose to do the excursion on your own. I liked the city bus and the hop on/hop off buses, features of both. I do not feel that enough information is given or known about the excursions if planning aboard ship. You might consider also reading about the city you are going to visit before going there. The Boston tour guide was well informed of the history, in spite of traffic congestion and noise, (walking tour). The tour guide on the train of the Reversing Rapids Railway chatted too much about impertinent information and an attempt to steer her to more relevant information was futile. This excursion was most disappointing for the amount paid. I would travel again on Granduer of the Seas, and be more prepared to get the most out of the trip. Read Less

Thank you to rahoul & yudi you made our holiday one of the best. Also to the staff in the scooner lounge. HIGHLIGHTS WERE WATCHING THE DOLPHINS & WHALES FROM OUR BALCONY Also dining at the captains table & tour of the bridge. We made many happy memories on board & are now planning another trip on granduer of the seas. Food was first class as was the service. Best cruise we have been on with regards to the service. The only critic is the sun beds are not that comfortable on deck & st johns in canada not that exciting but boston, portland, bar harbour & nova scotia are excellent. Did some of the bus tours which were great & the hop on hop off tours are very good too. Thumbs up to captain thor, your ship is fantastic & it was very nice meeting you. We choose this cruise for a couple of reasons. First, it was a cruise that would actually be on our 53rd anniversary. and second it was out of Baltimore. It made it a no brainer since it was Royal Caribbean and we had cruised with them before. The crew on Royal Caribbean are always friendly and more than willing to do what ever it takes to make sure you have a wonderful vacation experience. The ship is kept clean at all times and the entertainment is wonderful and none stop. One group was so amazing, of course they played and sang all of the music that I loved as a teenager and I couldn't get enough of them. We enjoyed the casino very much and I even won a little money. It was great fun. They had games and all kinds of activities for adults, teens and little ones. No one was left out. I cannot say enough about the food and the wonderful people who served us. They were wonderful and made sure we were well taken care of. You could have all you wanted. They even accommodated special diets or needs. The deserts were so good you just wanted to eat more and more. You could eat in the Great Gatsby Dining room or go to the Windjammer Buffet. There are several other places to eat , but some restaurants are not included in the prices of the cruise. The cabin we had was an outside cabin with a nice size window. We were on the third deck and not too close to the elevators. It was quiet and comfortable with a private bathroom and a nice size closet. They have two beds which can be put together for a queen size bed or apart for a comfortable twin size. If you leave them apart, you would have more room in the cabin. We had no problem either Getting on the ship or disembarkation. It runs like a well oiled machine. Just make sure not to lose you "Sea Pass" they give you. Everything is tied up to that pass, it is also your cabin key. It is also your credit card to buy what ever you may want to purchase. Believe me, they have wonderful deals aboard ship. I think I discovered most of them! Once the ship is underway, spend your time exploring the ship to find out where everything of interest is. It will save you time when you know what activities you want to do and where they are held. Each day you will get a little paper that gives you the next days events so you can plan out your day. They have plenty of information on line before you go on your cruise to help you to choose what excursions you might be interested in. There are many things to consider and there are many reviews about each one. Do your research to make your vacation a wonderful one that you will remember. One more tip. Join the Crown and Anchor Club. It costs nothing to join and it gives perks to members. I'm glad we joined. Read Less
