Dirty ship and dusty service.

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Grandeur of the Seas

Royal should indeed pack up this boat. It was filthy stains everywhere that were unsettling for the amount of money they charge. The customer service was awful. I paid for a cupcake decorating class that was advertised as a culinary experience that had us making children fogs, I was beyond upset that I spent almost $40 for a falsely advertised decorating class. When I asked for a refund they ...

This ship needs to hire new staff the people was rude and the cooking wasn’t good. Going on a cruise for 10/11 days is supposed to be a great experience and it wasn’t the staff was extremely rude and aggressive their was a few staff that was nice such as the young caribbean male musician and the caribbean male bartender aside from that the people was rude and did not provide good customer service. ...

The "Grandiose" Grandeur

I chose this cruise to enjoy time with my family and gain new experiences in being on a cruise to different lands, while witnessing different cultures. This being my first time on a cruise, I was excited to join with the Royal Caribbean team and its "Grandeur of the Seas". Unfortunately, by the end of the trip, I was sorely disappointed with the whole experience and am now uncertain that I ...

Grandeur of the seas Welcome to 1995 Ship is old, rusty run down old bucket . Cabins desperately need refurbishing. The dining room is bearly tolerable with higher ups running around with Walky talkies very loud. The poor waiters are constantly asking you if everything is OK if you like every bite of food that you take, it’s a bit much. Classless crowd of people think nothing of ...

First experience and WORST experience.

This cruise line has been one of the worst I have ever been on. As someone who has gone on multiple cruises in the past, never have I experienced anything like this. The cruise ship itself is very old. Despite its “refurbishment” in 2012 there is mold and rust in the bathrooms. The rooms are outdated and despite the efforts of our incredible cabin attendant, it simply wasn’t the experience we ...

The worst experience of my life

Custumer service is the worst on this ship. Nobody take responsibilities for mistakes and they're not willing to help you right away. I travel with a friend with a medical condition and couldn't have alcohol. I wanted to have the alcohol package. We couldn't buy 1 alcohol package for the room at the discounted price of $84 a day even though we had proof my friend couldn't drink. We had to ...

In rather unfortunate circumstances, my partner tested positive for COVID at the cruise terminal in Barbados. We were meant to sail on the 30/01/22 on board Grandeur of the Seas. On our day of boarding we arrived at the port terminal for our allotted time and completed our rapid antigen COVID tests as expected. Unfortunately my partner, tested positive, but I tested negative. A further 2 ...

We have cruised several times on the Grandeur of the years, but after this cruise we both decided, this was the last. We will wait for the Enchantment of the Seas and keep our fingers crossed. We like cruising our of Baltimore because we don't have to pay for a flight, but I'll fly to California for a cruise before I get on the Grandeur again. The cabin was a Junior Suite on the stern with ...
