We were on the 7th deck next to a couple that was cruising with us. We were supposed to be in large interior rooms. When we opened our room doors we were all unpleasantly surprised. We're used to having the bathroom on one side of the short hallway & the closet on the other side, the vanity on one side of the room & the couch on the other side, & the bed straight in front of us. This room had a chair about a foot into the room on the left, the bed about a foot to the right, & the vanity in front of us. The chair & the chair to the vanity were only a very short space apart. The short hallway with the bath & closet were to the left just past the chair. I've never had an entrance from the side of the room before & there was no room to move around in the room with another person at all. If I was sitting at the vanity, my husband couldn't get to the bath or the closet because the other chair was in the way. We were all furious! We paid for a LARGE inside room & it was smaller than any room any of us had ever seen before! We vehemently complained at Guest Services but the mgr. said he couldn't move us because the ship was full. I have been in a room on Holland America that had a chair instead of a couch, but there was enough room to get around. Our room attendant said most people put the chair at the end of the hallway on it's side since it was actually just in the way. That's what our friends did. After we split the bed that made some room between the smaller beds & that helped some. We left our chair where it originally was & scooted it to the side a little. Guest Services said all of the inside rooms on deck 7 were like ours. I have no idea why. This was our 3rd time on Grandeur & we've never had a room like this one. We like the inside rooms because we like total darkness when we sleep & we don't get that with outside or balcony rooms. We're very seldom in our rooms anyway but we like to have enough room to both bathe & dress at the same time! Beware if inside rooms on deck 7!!!!!!!! Read Less

The cabin was very small for three adults, but it was very clean and well maintined. The location right off of the Centrum was terrific. The shower curtain is the biggest drawback since it is hard to keep the bathroom dry. Read More

The cabin was very nice with a good size window. Our cabin was quiet and had plenty of closet space with drawers. The vanity lighting was very good with plenty of mirror space. There were plenty of drawers and little cubby places to put your personal items. The bathroom had a lot of places for your toiletries as well. I must say the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I fell asleep without any trouble. Read Less

Excellent location for pool deck/Windjammer and Palladium theater. Thought we might have trouble with sound coming from theater one deck below but never heard anything from there. Only noise problem was last night of the cruise when luggage was being moved by the crew. Fortunately it was located far enough from the Centrum that noise from the nightly entertainment there wasn't an issue. Space is tight as with most cruise cabins, and using upper bunks doesn't allow lowers to be pushed together. Everyone needs to be cautious as headroom for both upper and lower beds is pretty tight. Four people in a room this size can be challenging so a little cooperation goes a long way! Closet is a decent size but recommend bringing some extra hangers for longer cruises. Finding a place to store 4 suitcases for a 9 day cruise can be a bit challenging, as the housekeeping staff store replacement linens and towels under the beds. If you are old enough to remember phone booths, imagine one with the corners cut off and you will have a good idea of how big the shower is. A bit more than challenging when the shower curtain has a habit of sticking to you. Read Less

Cabin was good. Suitcases did not fit under the beds Couldn't open one closet door due to where the chair was (which by the way was really useless to have the chair in the room other than to put suitcases on it) and the other closet door wouldn't close because our suitcases were in the closet. Not sure why this cabin is considered a large interior stateroom, not sure where the extra room was. We were 3 (myself, husband and 7 year old) in the room, we know interior rooms aren't spacious, but with the title large interior we were hoping for a little more space. Door didn't close tight enough and allowed quite a bit of light in the room, I found it hard to go to sleep, 7 year old liked it as they didn't need a light to find the bathroom during the night.
