Interior (ID) Cabin Reviews

This was a nice room in the aft on the starboard side, quiet except for a vibration when the ship was moving.

We had an interior cabin with a family of 4. It is what it is and I won't complain other than to say that the toilet system failed 3 times and had to be fixed externally from our room. That was annoying to say the least. The crew seemed to act as though it was just a normal thing that happened all the time. It's some sort of vacuum system that just seems to have issues. Small but adequate. Efficient stewardess. Exceptionally noisy at night being close to area where staff prepare room service ... crashing of trays, dishes, trolleys ... slamming of doors. Not conducive to restful sleep.

It was a standard inside cabin. Overall it was pretty quiet, that is until 1:10 a.m. the first night when I was woken by very loud metallic noises for a minute or two. It repeated each night at 1:10 a.m. I kept hoping it was an anomaly but finally went to the Passenger Services Desk after the sixth night to find out what it could be. Turns out that my cabin was directly below the Room Service Galley. I never found out what exactly was going on but the passenger services night manager guessed it was some sort of cleaning operation. The final night the noise was at 10 p.m. instead of 1 a.m., more manageable to my sleeping. Had I asked earlier into the cruise they would have tried to move me to another cabin. They did give me a ship board credit for my sleeping problems. Disembarkation was orderly and was running about 20 minutes ahead of schedule when we left the ship. Clearing customs, finding our luggage and clearing the agricultural inspection was quick and easy. Read Less
