Premium Suite with Balcony (S5) Cabin Reviews

Sail Date: May 2019
The cabin was great. Loved being up high with wonderful views. Very quiet area of the ship. The premium suite was a bit smaller than a Vista suite but I didn't missed the wet bar as never used on previous cruises anyway.

There was a large rust hole on one of the pillars on the balcony, and there were covers on the ceiling held by metal clips that flapped in the wind making lots of noise on some nights. Read Less

As described above a beautiful suite in an extremely quiet area of the ship To reach the Sun Deck you have to use the two outer lifts on deck 7 which until you get used to the system does cause some concern for new cruisers.

Thank you for the upgrade from mini suite to suite on deck 15. Did not have to lift a finger the whole cruise as our steward made sure we didn't do anything in our cabin and was helpfull in finding out anything we needed to know.

Stayed in Grenada suite on Sun Deck 15 S707 twin beds and fold-away couch. The suite was beautiful - with a lot of the finishes in elegant wood grain throughout and marble floors and counters in the bathroom. The beds were brand new but my two friends like soft beds and found them to be a little bit too hard, so they asked for a mattress topper to be put on and they found the beds super comfortable after that. I slept on the fold-away bed and I was sooooo comfortable. I prefer a firm mattress so this suited me well. It was probably the most comfortable fold-away bed I have ever slept on. The suite had everything we needed and it was nice to have space to move around. Our sailing experienced very bad weather throughout the entire journey so were virtually unable to use the balcony at all, which was disappointing as the balcony is a good size and it would have doubled our 'living' space. Staff would have found cutlery and other items jammed between panels that creeked and groaned when rubbing against each other. Noisy when trying to sleep.

Nice room on the aft area of the ship....it is listed with an obstructed view which I guess is true as there is a support beam but we really did not even hardly notice it! It was there but did not present a problem. There are four suites across the back of Caribe deck......the two middle ones are not obstructed. On the sides are two smaller cabins not suites....that would be a good place to be too if you did not want to opt for a suite. Read Less
