We flew to Genoa from Miami, spent the night at the Holiday Inn and taxied to the port in the morning. Embarkation was a breeze. We sailed the Divina 6 times before so we Knew what to expect. Different Captain and different Hotel Director this time. She is a beautiful Italian design ship. Love the crystal staircase. We had a balcony starboard forward cabin and a great steward (Alphonso). The ...

YACHT CLUB IS THE BEST WAY TO CRUISE

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Divina

wanted to try the yacht club experience and do not regret! The only thing we missed was an indoor pool or indoor Jacuzzi for the Yachtclub. We also found the yachtclub restaurant way to far from the yachtclub cabins. You have to walk all the way to the other side of the ship. Food was very fine, but not realy special. The gala night had a very simple menu. The waiters are very friendly in the ...

We are an active over 70 couple and like to get away from the European winter for a while The Costa arranged bus trip from Austria to the Port of Savona was smooth and comfortable, Embarkation was painless despite the extra USA requirements We did a short walking visit in friendly Savona as the weather was a bit chilly The Ship was spotless and its classic layout still works well - all ...

Wonderful Cruise With Costa Pacifica

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Costa Pacifica

Single traveler on 'Isole Del Sole' cruise with 'Costa Pacifica' from Savona. I chose this cruise to experience 'Costa Crociere', Madeira and Canary Islands with some more sea days again. Embarkation - The process from arrival at the terminal to my stateroom took about 2 hours, but I was repeatedly addressed in German, my native language. The stateroom was not yet ready at shortly after ...

We chose this cruise for the itinerary which was extensive and awesome! We went in calling this a Motel 6 on water, having very low expectations. We were so wrong, it exceeded in almost every way. Pro's: The ship is very very clean. The staff is very friendly, and helpful. The food was so good, we never had a bad meal! The food is extremely fresh and presented in a beautiful manner. Even the ...

Very enjoyable Mediterranean cruise, including Lisbon

We chose this cruise because it departs and arrives from a single location (Savona), where we can park our car safely. This is our third time to cruise with Costa and we always enjoy their friendly service and their on-board entertainment. The itinerary included some of our favorite locations (Malaga and Barcelona), as well as some places we had not been before (Valencia and Cadiz). The length of ...

We were looking for a cruise, when we saw the ship Costa Fascinosa, we were in love at first sight. The ship is huge and clean in and out, we quickly decided to booked although we are familiar with some of the routes , what we are after is the experience. The size of the cabin is more than enough for the 3 of us. We were impressed, the room is tidy and cozy.. The first day we were disappointed ...

Chose this cruise as I particularly wanted to sail into Valetta. Have sailed with MSC before. This time boarding took over 2 hours in Genoa. I met people who said they had taken 4. This meant the cabin was ready as soon as we boarded. I had booked a table for two at dinner and as always we were on a table for 8. This was an anniversary cruise and a rare opportunity for my wife and I to spend time ...

Usual good quality cruise

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Magnifica

Overall the cruise was good. This was our 3rd MSC cruise and the first on a mid sized ship. Previous cruises were on the larger ships. Basically runs just like the bigger ones with the slightly smaller space not really noticeable .My only small complaint and it was a common comment with the others in our group was the way the dining room meals for breakfast and lunch were run. Part of your meal ...

We sailed on Magnifica in February, we have sailed on her before and she lived up to our expectations and a little more fun than the previous cruise we had on Splendida. If you are looking for a recommendation then there are a few thing to consider before you choose MSC. If you want the English or American experience then read no further, if you are looking for a cosmopolitan cruise where you will ...
