We flew to Genoa from Miami, spent the night at the Holiday Inn and taxied to the port in the morning. Embarkation was a breeze. We sailed the Divina 6 times before so we Knew what to expect. Different Captain and different Hotel Director this time. She is a beautiful Italian design ship. Love the crystal staircase. We had a balcony starboard forward cabin and a great steward (Alphonso). The ...

YACHT CLUB IS THE BEST WAY TO CRUISE

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Divina

wanted to try the yacht club experience and do not regret! The only thing we missed was an indoor pool or indoor Jacuzzi for the Yachtclub. We also found the yachtclub restaurant way to far from the yachtclub cabins. You have to walk all the way to the other side of the ship. Food was very fine, but not realy special. The gala night had a very simple menu. The waiters are very friendly in the ...

Chose this cruise as I particularly wanted to sail into Valetta. Have sailed with MSC before. This time boarding took over 2 hours in Genoa. I met people who said they had taken 4. This meant the cabin was ready as soon as we boarded. I had booked a table for two at dinner and as always we were on a table for 8. This was an anniversary cruise and a rare opportunity for my wife and I to spend time ...

Overall the cruise was good. This was our 3rd MSC cruise and the first on a mid sized ship. Previous cruises were on the larger ships. Basically runs just like the bigger ones with the slightly smaller space not really noticeable .My only small complaint and it was a common comment with the others in our group was the way the dining room meals for breakfast and lunch were run. Part of your meal ...

We sailed on Magnifica in February, we have sailed on her before and she lived up to our expectations and a little more fun than the previous cruise we had on Splendida. If you are looking for a recommendation then there are a few thing to consider before you choose MSC. If you want the English or American experience then read no further, if you are looking for a cosmopolitan cruise where you will ...

This cruise had a very good itinerary, going to some places I haven't been to before. Leaving Valetta was really wonderful, second best sail away after Venice. Unfortunately we were unable to dock at Katakolon port due to bad weather. But the cruise line cannot control the weather. The staff as always on MSC are delightful always pleasant and fun too. The Animation team were exceptional , the ...

This was a repositioning cruise that was excellent value for money. The staff were wonderful, especially our waiter Daniel Berg Cavalcante. He remembered all of our wine choices and preferences and was professional, polite and always made us feel welcome at the table, taking a genuine interest in our days activities. The entertainment staff were also great fun, ensuring that we didn't get bored on ...

Just completed a crossing of the Atlantic Ocean from the Mediterranean to South America. The ship's staff were great. Very helpfull, polite and happy. Perhaps as many of them were heading to their home country. Lots of good humour and they seemed to be interested in you. Lots of information provided by them on the areas of our onward journey. The ship was very clean and facilities were good. ...

We were pleasantly surprised since we had read negative reviews prior to our trip about the cruise ship. Embarkation was a breeze and very organized in Genoa, Italy. We arrived in Genoa a few days prior to embarkation and stayed within walking distance to the port. Ports of calls were excellent, Genoa, Barcelona, Casablanca, Tenerife, Medeira, Malaga, and Rome. The disembarkation in ...

Me and my husband have to travel a lot between Brasil and Spain, and we would do it every time by cruise, if there were cruises all year. As it is, we try to get them anytime we can. We would love if you could start a regular line, as it used to have many years ago.... We like MSC more than other lines, unfortunately we had a bad experience with Costa, they charged us a tax that wasn't said ...
