Just got back form a 6 night med cruise on this ship,
Embarkation and disembarkation went as well as expected.
In the main the ship was nice, the public areas are good and clean.
Cabins (we were in 11210) was very nice.
Dinning:- The buffet.
This was probably the best food you will find on the ship and the best for selection.
If you like your coffee I'd would recommend the ...
Genoa seven day Western Med 23 September 2017
Firstly i was conscious to book outside school holidays to have a more relaxing cruise. Was hesitant to book with this cruise line after reading some reviews and looking at food on You Tube. How wrong i was. Been on the Celebrity Solstice around NZ. Found the dinning room food to be sub standard. two out of ten and the Celebrity Equinox around the ...
I am a 46 year old from Indiana. I traveled with my family which consisted of my wife, my 2 10 year old boys, my 70 year old mother and her 68 year old sister. We have all cruised before on Princess, NCL, Celebrity, Disney, and MSC. This cruise was in March and we had just cruised on the MSC Divina las October. I have no cruise status, but the family does travel alot. Embarkation was in ...
When I set out to find a decent destination for our honeymoon this Feb, after trotting half the globe I stumbled upon the idea of taking a cruise. After comparing various itineraries, reviews on this platform and the overall costing (considering the destinations covered), I decided to take MSC Splendida from Genoa.
Based on the mixed reviews for this ship I read here, I was a little skeptical ...
We sailed on Splendida in January, we have sailed on her before and she lived up to our expectations. If you are looking for a recommendation then there are a few thing to consider before you choose MSC. If you want the English or American experience then read no further, if you are looking for a cosmopolitan cruise where you will meet several cultures and nationalities then it's worth a try. The ...
Chose this cruise as it fit in with our holiday dates and wanted to try cruising. The cruise travel arrangements were perfect including embarkation and disembarkation. The ship is simply lovely and we had nothing but pleasing encounters with staff. The theatre shows were watchable but nothing special. The cabin was clean and we were looked after well by the cabin cleaners. The itinerary was ...
This was our first cruise ever and we loved every single moment of it. I have been working in the Airline Industry for 20 years now as a Flight Attendant, so traveling is nothing new to me. I have stayed in hotels all over the world, but I have never been on a cruise ship.
I was surprised beyond belief. It was just awesome from the word go. Great destinations and the ship itself is just ...
The interior decor of the ship is very pleasant and welcoming. the inside cabin was spacious, clean and homely, the restaurants were well run with friendly attentive staff. There was a good choice of diferent themed bars with competant agreeable waiters/waitresses, there is also a vast selection of drinks including some of the best cocktail's and martini's that you could desire. The entertainment ...
Seen one MSC Fantasy class ship seen them all (we had previously been on Magnifica), BUT despite similarities they do have unique touches.
The nightly theatre entertainment was good (not stunning or amazing) - but certainly enjoyable and a nice touch to each night (shows lasting 30 - 45 minutes - well by the time you take the 5 language translations out less actual SHOWTIME...) :-)
The mix ...
I'd hate to see Americans skip this cruise ship and itinerary based on the mixed reviews so here is mine. Our main goal was to have our two teens exposed to new people, food, cultures and customs and to stay interested in their French and Spanish classes in school. We achieved that and way more with memories for a lifetime!
Easy embarkation in Genoa - no line, breezed right through since we ...
