This was my first cruise so I really didn't know what to expect after reading some of the reviews. I was doing back to back cruises with the second week being on the Preziosa out of Venice. I flew into Venice then flew to Genoa and took a taxi to the cruise port after staying a night in a hotel. I was so pleased to find that embarkation was an absolute breeze. There were no queues, no waiting ...

We had a fabulous time on msc musica starting from Genoa, travelling on to Rome ,Palermo, Tunis ,Palma, Valencia and marseille . The ship was clean , staff very obliging, shows were excellent. Hello from Germany! We had the pleasure to get a great bargain. For a rate of 60,00 USD/night we had a chance to be on a brand new ship. It's our second longer cruise. We are both male, 38 and 40. We stayed the night before the cruise at the Soglia Hotel (former Ramada) which was only five minutes walking distance from the cruise terminal. We paid about 100 USD for a double room which incl. a ...
